The conversation took place over the phone. So it wasn’t just said, it was heard. And the tone implies nothing different. But I’m past discussing that situation though, because with that particular “client” it was a discussion that should not have taken place to begin with. So I’m more referring in general.

Right. That’s almost like saying: wait a minute, I seen Tom Brady playing football with a group of guys at a park…why should he be getting PAID to play football 🤦🏽♂️ It just goes to show the sheer stupidity from some of these dudes. But more power to them because I’m actually considering removing myself from the “apps”. I’m getting jaded from the repeated scenarios of meeting people with no end games from them. Even though I am growing weary of the gay bar scene, and being immersed in alcohol as the activity…it still provides a slightly better window of meeting people with substance. But all this crossbreeding of clients on hookup apps is a weird dichotomy and I feel may be contributing to flakiness in the business. Not saying clients aren’t going to do what they are going to regardless, but the hookup app environment doesn’t improve things. Even when I met a good person from it initially, it usually don’t go far because it lends itself towards a false sense of over abundance.

I personally want to get rid of the travel schedule. People get too confused or focus too much on travel dates. Cut that it out of the equation. To me, that only works if an escort is flying in, likely due to a business conference or other purpose not related to escorting. It doesn’t really allow those who have extended flexibility or in an area an uncertain period of time. It’s already been stated by a couple of clients that some guys don’t even bother posting or announcing travel dates. Maybe they don’t want to be “tied to” a window of dates. I really don’t even like to go anywhere unless I have a couple clients booked ahead. But I can’t do that unless I put a date in my ad, and I have to be within RM’s 250 mile radius of the city to have it as “near travel” without a date. Which most times I’m not. But that’s usually better because then I can explain to a client: NO: I’m not there now. YES, I am willing to come there once YOU and other clients are able to coordinate a visit. So I often had to imply that the travel dates I have listed are meant to be approximate windows of arrival. Then people get uptight when I don’t show up during those dates for reasons out of my control. And then I come off like a flake, when in reality I had needed to get a schedule going in order to proceed. I will say there’s an accuracy in what @BuffaloKyle said about how I feel about travel. There’s some things I’m finding that are becoming more occurrences, and it’s really souring the benefits of travel: #1 clients can’t seem to keep their word as much. Just today I had 2 appointments fall thru, one claiming to woke up sick, the other we had been coordinating for tomorrow, but then had some schedule conflicts. Fortunately I was able to keep the deposit but still: these clients were in small markets, where replacing with a different client isn’t likely in a day. So now, I have to cancel both those destinations. #2 the limitations of people’s schedules mixed with the limitations of when I can utilize a hotel room. I can’t work with people, if they aren’t willing to work with me. Many people try to book something between noon and 3 p.m. that’s not a good time if I’m only staying in a hotel for 1 day. I hear mariott titanium members get 4 p.m. checkout, but I haven’t racked up that many nights, as I spread my hotel nights between 2-3 different hotel chains that offer lower prices/better points-perks. Also I’m finding many hotels aren’t even honoring their word on early/late checkout. One chain touts 2 p.m. checkout for elite members. But every hotel I’ve stayed at, I almost have to beg just to get 1 pm. I usually don’t like people trying to come after 11 a.m. or before 3 p.m., because too many times rooms weren’t ready or the hotel was sold out and couldn’t offer later than a 12:30-1 o’clock checkout. Meanwhile the client is left waiting until I can. Traveling is starting to become more cumbersome than fun…And the main roadblock is caused by the hotels, and client’s limited ability to meet. I’m really starting to hate hotels. They don’t care about anything besides getting the most money for the least amount of time. You can barely a full 24 hours use out of 1 night. And many times, staying for 2 nights isn’t needed or resourceful if it’s only going to be 1 or 2 clients. I’m almost feeling I could be making more being in a less-competitive market and having maximum availability that’s not being dictated by when a client can squeeze in time, and how soon or late I can check into/out a hotel room. Pretty soon (and as it has been lately), it may end up I will only travel if my first client can accommodate an appointment in the evening. And if anyone wants to meet at the peak of the day, they will have to take 2nd place to someone with a little more flexibility.

Well, that’s easy to address. Maybe said guy goes to said cities often enough to have that regular base book him up. In my case: San Francisco tends to be more of a biennial trip for me: But I’ve not been since 2016 so…everybody I met, had been new clients. And…as been said, maybe “fully booked” means 1 or 2 clients a day, or per trip: if assessing all the variables. Like for example: I’m “fully booked” in Kansas City during some weekends. But that means I have my 1 regular steady client and maybe 1 newbie if I’m lucky, who keeps me all night+ a couple bbqs to attend. Otherwise, it’s usually pretty void of actually bookings. I can see the benefit of being fully booked by regulars when traveling to a location, but it’s not always the case. Like I said, I was taken aback last week when I went to a city that I did awesome last month, then I went again and it was completely dead. Not a soul to be found. However, that particular city isn’t keen on regulars, but rather: the closeted straight guy who wants NSA.
-
That’s a good way to do it. And to reiterate, even though I may discuss things in a way that relates to escorting when referring to cities, I just have a whole appreciation for travel, photography, and scenery. I was into travel long before escorting. It just became a natural transition into it, without having to be a truck driver to do it. I don’t want people to get me wrong. Maybe I don’t express myself the best on every post. I’m not mad or regretful about anything. When I refer to specific setbacks, that’s only like a few minutes of screen time and only in the context of the subject I speak on. All the other 23 hours of the day, I’m living my best life 🤘🏾 Matter of fact, while I’m at it: I’ll go ahead and throw in some pics/vids from my latest tour: IMG_5378.MOV The beach in San Francisco: View from hotel in Reno Ocean beach, SF the famous Castro view from Macys, SF Cool lobby of an outcall, Seattle Me cooking and having 🍷 in my air bnb Mt. Rainier, Seattle space needle Seattle Colorado Rockies Denver downtown at night

I just want to add something to this, without having to create a new topic… Despite everyone giving input, it’s not possible without the response of said person. It takes 2 to make a meeting. If a person isn’t man enough to respond, or if another isn’t man enough to send another response…then F it. I know someone (won’t name who) right now, on the forum…who hasn’t bothered to return my message in over a MONTH. And I know he got it. Does it feel a little dubious? Yes. But am I losing sleep over it? Not. Life moves on. If someone is busy acting fake and phony, it’s just a sign that there’s other people out there who can appreciate my time more. Part of the dichotomy in being a provider, is I don’t do fake and phoniness. Yet we deal with it all the time. Escorts can be fake, clients can be fake. It’s so much fakery. And by being fake, I mean…not being transparent. Being evasive, saying one thing and doing something completely contrary, not being reliable in situations, etc. I did 2 “gay events” over the past few months, and even though they were fun and lucrative experiences, there was so much fakery. Everyone from the event coordinators to the performers to the audience. At the same time, it’s a revelation to realize: some environments, some “personas”, some connections were never designed to be real in the first place. Being “imaginary” is what made Disney World so popular after all. The faker, the better. You avoid the burden of reality and being real. Only thing I can say is, perhaps a provider may have their own things to contend with, so perhaps not responding it’s their way of dealing with it (again, assuming #1 the message was even received. Which is why I said earlier, another person has to be man enough to message AGAIN) However, if it’s clear the person can’t be bothered, be done with it.

Hmm, no it ain’t a placebo lol. Last night I took my natural herb supplements in the evening because I forgot to earlier in the day, had a bedtime boner that just wouldn’t go away for a awhile. But I didn’t want to “handle it” because I need to save it for the real thing. Some of these things have been used traditionally by tribes.
-
Well as a suggestion to all: don’t hesitate to take the natural stuff that can be found at GNC or vitamin shoppe (which I found in Washington state is called Super supplements). My thing with viagara is, it might not mix with everything. I see some people take it and they turn red and flush. Some even cut the dose to a 1/4 or 1/2 to lower the effect. It’s no fentanyl, but…if I can use a comparable product without the side effects, why not. And considering I’m not just escorting for 1 or 2 weeks, for the long term…it’s good to have something safe.

I’m over everything being talked of being expensive when it comes down to it. It’s not just Los Angeles, but Denver, Madison, Nashville, Tampa, Seattle, Phoenix…all over. People are paying for 1 bedrooms that you should be able to own a home for. Most can’t really get into one unless they are married, and I see unhappily partnered guys making it work for “the house”. That’s why it goes back to what I said in another section about big cities, and how I don’t feel it’s necessary. A bigger city really doesn’t offer more in life than a tiny village, but everyone flocks to those locations and drives everything up. Meanwhile, a state may have 2 or 3 metropolises, yet have dozens of smaller communities and towns….that need people. Especially gay people. I think at some point, gays may need to diversify and start moving out into the smaller towns and make our own cities. Some examples are like Sedona, AZ and Eureka Springs, AR. Even Palm Springs in some ways. I can’t vouch those places are cheap, but it shows it’s possible to create a sensation away from the expensive bigger cities. Even in Missouri: most of the gays are either in St. Louis or Kansas City. However the other towns have no gay identity whatsoever. And Kansas City and St. Louis are going up and up with prices: yet there’s no real increase in clients. Just an increase in frustration. That said: I’ve decided to boost my donations as well this season. I was doing a 150 as my baseline on a tier similar to how @Brian Kevin stated. But now, I’m wanting to move towards a 165 or 175 baseline, so that a pre-deposit can be made and let the remainder be ATM friendly. But it’s not a case of COVID recovery (actually was busier at times during COVID 20/21 than I am now). It’s more of a case of needing to level up and increase incentive. $150 and $200 can be gone in a day if things aren’t steady paced. Also: if I was able to reach more clients at a lower rate, I would probably be okay. But there’s so many guys popping up: the opposite is needed; higher rates to make up for the fact that there’s fewer (serious) clients partly because there’s so many more guys doing this.

Good word, but idk man…it’s hard to avoid fast food lol. Especially if you had this handing you a burger 🍔 (I look the same, just a different skin tone and shorter hair. But everything else…all me 😆 It actually takes me less time to post messages here, than to arrange a booking. A long post here takes, maybe 5-10 minutes. Arranging a booking by text: an hour or 2 (by the time you add pauses, and go over the whole 9).

Here’s the #1 problem, clients and escorts will never understand: When I’m free and available, people rarely ever call me when I am. Never, ever, ever. Just last week, I had a great room in Reno, Nevada facing the strip. I was completely open. 1 client who scheduled in advance (technically not because it was a same day visit) flaked, then another “client” who wanted to meet soon that I was more than willing to fit in, also flaked. Now: when the 2nd client contacted me, I was at the gym. I cut my gym time short because he asked to come at 4:30, and the other was needing a bit later. But then he made up some lame excuse about a meeting, and that he wanted to move it to morning. Yet neither sucker-mother fucker showed up. So in that process, it wasn’t just a simple “yes or no” on availability. I WAS AVAILABLE. But they were on bullshit, when I could have been doing other things. What made these 2 bookings so bad was: they were both same day appointments. I was intending to go onto my next destination, if I had no other bookings. But because I took same day bookings from both, I somewhat modified my schedule to accommodate…and regretted it. And people wonder why I’ve become so unwavering when it comes to deposits. At this point, I don’t even want to speak to any new clients who don’t have a deposit upfront. I mention it in my very first message. Unfortunately have to blame those who caused the effect, that I can no longer work freely and take peoples word like I used to. I have to do so more efficiently which means, inaccessible. I wouldn’t quite say it to that extent. There’s nothing wrong with booking 2 months out, but that is generally something a long term regular would request. There’s a 99.9% chance, that there’s a “chance” that somebody may look at that and be like…you’re 99% likely going to have some excuse to not show up when the day comes. I can’t clearly see the part that is blacked out highlighted…but I was able to read it. But exactly, just as I stated above what I said. I think at the end of the day, each provider has to “train” clients how they want to be treated. Just like I’m training clients to have a deposit upfront before I do “legwork” for them. It’s actually hard for me too because, I like the spontaneity of the last minute booking, especially when I’m horny. But, too many examples have shown that many times, it doesn’t work. It may work “sometimes”, but that’s not enough to offset that “many times” it doesn’t work. And last month: I did 2 outcall bookings last minute and they were HORRIBLE. One of the guys had a mean looking dog that wasn’t well trained, an indiscreet apartment, and was not great in bed. The other had a place that was trashy and there was a cat…which unless I take medicine a couple hours prior: I get allergies. Which happened, while we were fucking 🤦🏽♂️ I also want to stop the idea that clients can just barge their way into my schedule without any sort of coordination. Where are people learning these bad habits from? For example: twice this week I’ve had clients just contact me and “name a time” without even asking what my availability is. Like first of all: you don’t even know where I am, or how far away it will take you to arrive. Plus there isn’t a consideration for me to present or accommodate my schedule. If I call a client out the blue and ask him right now to meet tomorrow at 1 pm, 100% of the time it will be a “no I’m busy”. But they think we can??? Someone texted me this morning, before I’m even awake: asking about a 2 p.m. appointment. I sent him my instructions, he doesn’t follow it. Then calls me without my permission. So disrespectful!! I didn’t ask him to call, I asked him to do a specific course of action. It’s for that reason, that I need a system in place. Being I’m pushing 35 y/o in a few months, I’m ready to start doing things differently. I’m not 22 and 28 anymore.

At the end of the day, it just depends on what one’s expenses are and how they choose to travel. There’s been times when I would be spending/losing more money sitting home and paying rent/bills than I would hopping in a car and traveling somewhere. I personally don’t fly for variety of reasons (and all this crazy stuff in the news makes me even more reluctant of public transport). But, driving may not be the cheaper answer always. Also, Amtrak is a good deal if you’re in a hub of nearby cities. But for me…I’d only do that if I was planning to stay downtown and not driving outside of the area. But problem is: cities are too unpredictable. Like I said before, staying downtown feels more of a losing proposition to me. Higher priced hotels and many clients don’t seem to want to go downtown in some cities. I had to wrap up my tour to an extent because, I needed to strategize on how I wanted to arrange visits. Too many last minute inquiries, not enough serious. Annoying. I was considering not advertising in advance for travels, but I have to backtrack on that a little. However, nowadays I don’t think I’ll post travels much longer than a week or 2 ahead. That still won’t prevent the, “are you available NOW” (and the city is 500 miles away 🤦🏽♂️ Like dude, did you not read anything???

Sometimes…but not always the case depending on city. I was in Boise, Idaho couple weeks ago: insane hotel prices. Same with Salt Lake City. They used to run fairly decent prices 10 years ago, but now both areas hotels are way up. I mostly used points and stayed outside of the downtowns to mitigate it. I was able to get a family rate at a decent 1 bedroom Marriott that was comparable to a run of mill. But it was still $149-$169. Fortunately the 2 bookings I had, were extended. I actually like a couple other brands a little better because I get more free nights, and the rates tend to be a little less in some markets. But there’s been an annoying trade off with cheaper hotels: many of them will require a $100+ deposit (even some of the super-budget hotels that I’ve had to stay at once or twice on some trips due to arrival times/sold out everything). Sometimes I can avoid it with my elite status, sometimes I can’t. Also, unlike 3rd party: I can’t always use a separate card to hold the deposit. Which sucks because I got a card that I only wanted to use for hotel holds (not the rate, since it’s a CC). But booking directly thru Marriott or any hotel, they will hold it on the card you pay with automatically. With 3rd party, I can just whip out the handy “hotel deposit card” and be on my way. However, I’ve gotten so tired of booking thru 3rd parties and having to change or cancel and being unable to. I’ve been traveling since March 5th, and I used Priceline 2 nights the entire time. Everything else been direct thru the hote. Wait, wait. That’s not what I said ☝🛑 lol. I never said traveling is not worth it, I been doing it since the prehistoric days of 2008 when I first drove from Florida to Dallas…and been on it ever since. I previously asked about the appeal of traveling to MAJOR cities, and how it contrasts to smaller markets and weighing which is more profitable. However I fared better in San Francisco and Seattle, (both larger markets) than I’m doing in my current area right now, which is no LA or Chicago, but it’s an overly saturated market of providers in a city that 10-15 years ago, only had like 5-10 escorts. Now there’s like 100. Also traveling does depend on several things, like someone above mentioned. Right now, it’s not a great time to do road-trip especially on west coast. I probably went thru over $750 on fuel in the past month. I was almost not wanting to even do it…but I was able to cut costs in other ways to where it didn’t interfere too much initially. Now it’s become a problem because maybe April tax deadline, the lines have been dead. All that I spent, has not been made back.

I admire your inquisitive nature, but this can be a lot for one provider to answer in an actual contact. You might get a response from someone, but it’s likely some are going to pick up clues that you might be sending the same messages to everyone. In my case, I prefer to start contact over Cash App, Apple Pay or Zelle….and then we can talk about everything else afterwards. I decided for me personally, I no longer have the desire to “work” every inquiry that comes thru to my phone. I don’t really get paid enough per session (it’s not like a lawyer who does multi thousand and million dollar cases) to continue offering free consultations. I know some people out there get instantly frustrated and end the convo. But, I decided maybe it’s better that way, because they probably 50/50 wouldn’t follow thru anyway. So that saves us both time. Sitting around texting at random to strangers on a whim with the ”possibility” they’ll come thru with some money…isn’t entertaining anymore. I’m more eager to chat when I’m able to get some initial incentive. Interesting you say that. I hope that you’re saying it in a way as “it doesn’t matter to you”, not that it shouldn’t matter to “anyone”. I’d say I’m open to all types of clients, however I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a provider having sone degree of “vetting” or asking. I mean, I feel the idea of a provider not knowing NOTHING about a client, is so 1980s, 90s and early 2000s magazine ads. These days (atleast in America) many clients don’t mind to volunteer photos. Not that’s it’s needed, but even a faceless one takes 5 seconds. Not to mention: I had a client the other week who I felt very bad having to do…but I couldn’t get thru the session because he had several “questionable” looking skin ailments, despite him not being a bad shape guy. I also have had clients with injuries or other things, and I decided: I’m not willing to take that on anymore. Escorts/Masseurs are (generally) not doctors, like I said elsewhere. I’m not fit to be exposed to grotesque physical ailments, sores, weird rashes and all. I had even had one who came in awhile back with HPV warts all over his rear, and wanted to “play” before his surgery. I was like, absolutely not even with a condom. There’s only so much I’m open to work with, but if someone has something going on…it’s better to inform or hold off. I’m not trying to be “punk’d” into an uncomfortable situation That said, I’m usually pretty comfortable with 10/10 of the bookings I see. I usually just ask basic info like age/stats/ethnicity simply because I don’t like the shock factor of opening the door not knowing who/what. Clients don’t like to open the door to someone completely unexpected than the pictures showing up, so the fair thing to do is to give us some sort of introduction about them too. Especially since most bookings are arranged over text without ever a phone call.

I actually wanted to also re-quote your post specifically here. I can’t speak for why other guys may advertise how they do, but I do recall years ago I met a guy who I hit it off with who was visiting: but didn’t have any travel dates posted in his profile. But I can almost surmise why some may do it, and I’m actually leaning towards doing the same myself. For one, the way travel dates are allowed to be listed in ads doesn’t give a whole lot of flexibility. Combine that with people: potential clients seeing travel dates and formulating assumptions about our lives and plans without even consulting us: it can make for some very irritating situations. Some people don’t have enough common sense to realize that travel dates in an escort ad isn’t a airline ticket. I often times have extended or modified my plans in a city to where I have flexibility to stay for an extra day or 2. Or I may put last day being “4/12” which means “I’m here all day” but that doesn’t mean a client should say, “Well I was hoping to meet you, but I see you’re leaving today.” 🤦🏽♂️ It’s ignorant stuff like that, which is encouraging me to keep my travel plans secret, or posted for a longer window of time than anticipated. But even with that, people will still find a reason to get it backwards. It’s like, just request the fucking appointment. If I’m going to not be here, I will fucking tell them I won’t be here. Idk why some go out of their way to be annoying and daft. Oh yes, the infamous plateau. And if it doesn’t make it any better, sometimes the same guys from 20 years ago are still contacting with the same picture from 20 years ago 🤦🏽♂️ I’m surprised Buffalo hasn’t become an adjacent alternative to NYC like San Fran/LA are or Dallas/Houston. Maybe if they changed the name to “New Manhattan”, it would explode lol.

That’s why I was so glad my family moved out of Orlando in 2018…because I started living there and often times staying for extended periods. It was horrible. Despite the theme parks, the abundant sexy selection of men (many Latino but also Black/White but unfortunately also: “straight” and married), and nightlife…I spent many weeks there on low productivity because I couldn’t get much done. Then I had a client who was trying to persuade me into a “career” there…so he could secretly be my “partner” on the side that he could take credit for. Instead of just being a regular, every session was like a inspirational speaking. Absolutely not. Fortunately, being in Orlando made me want to explore other areas of Florida that I’d not given chances to previously. I was often traveling to the smaller communities and sometimes seeing both the gulf and the Atlantic in the same day.

Considering not displaying number in my RentMen ads
TallMuscl37 replied to TallMuscl37's topic in Questions About Hiring
Just to mention: I have used both onlyfans and justforFans. Even though those sites were good for getting a feel of how the subscription based platforms operate, I actually have graduated to my platform, and have done better on it in a few months, than I have on JFF and OF. Those sites didn't work with my business model, because they promote moreso big pornstars and who makes the most sales. I on the other hand, prefer to offer a private "club" experience, and trying to compete with $3.99 or $9.99 content guys with dozen of followers, wasn't something I wasn't interested in doing anymore. Plus I didn't have enough room to customize how I wanted to do my payments...so I eventually walked off both services. I only skimmed this post the other day, because I already know you have a constant knack for finding fault with things I discuss. As much as I want to ignore you, I will address it because in case anyone doesn't know: This isn't just someone's opinion. This is you being a politically correct TROLL. Period. That said: What you need to do is stop playing devil's advocate every time. No, this is NOT human nature. This is people who have chosen to be willfully ignorant (like @Kevin Slater once quoted in a different reference) and disrespect the time and effort of a provider. Instead of making excuses for fully adult men (some who are 1.5 to 2 times my age, which shows a real level of immaturity) who are unreliable, inconsiderate, double-dealing and have no decency about it: You need to 1st accept the reality that you really haven't actually experienced first hand the things providers have to contend with. At the end of the day, I am not a therapist, doctor or "public safety' official. I am not signed up to hand hold every single person with access to a phone or burner app. I'm simply someone paying to be on platforms to reach a niche audience who are looking to use my time. Therefore, I can technically operate any which way I choose to. That has nothing to do with not being understanding of human nature. That has everything to do with setting boundaries and operating in a way that I feel comfortable with. Don’t gaslight me into believing something that you feel is an opinion you formulated. Just today, I had to deal with a very inconsiderate client who apparently I’ve seen a couple times previously…when I used to live in his city years ago. I specifically instructed him to text me to confirm the appointment and put in the time request. He’s steadily messaging me on A4A every few HOURS. He simply names a time he wants (a morning time at that), without getting my address or rates or anything. Morning comes: he doesn’t text, still sends me a message on A4A. Makes up all this nonsense about he thought I was leaving town, and he’ll see me next time I’m in the area because despite him saying he had the day off, he somehow got so tied up he couldn’t get back to me until we’ll after 9 pm. Meanwhile, I was expecting him since 2-3 days ago to show up TODAY. It’s idiots like that which is why I have to have a balance of boundaries that doesn’t allow easy contact, but that DOES require direct contacting to schedule. There’s a difference between human nature, and being an insufferable 😣, bottom of the barrel-piece of work disguising oneself as a “client”. Period. -
Considering not displaying number in my RentMen ads
TallMuscl37 replied to TallMuscl37's topic in Questions About Hiring
That's a good idea...issue is, even ones who contact on the app are full of shit most of the time. If I don't check my messages on there for a week, there will be a backlog of "hi, hello, fuck me, available, etc" and who haven't even bothered to text me. I mainly use the auto reply to display rates, but I'm also using it as pre-screen before they reach my line. As much as I want to remove my number, I'm concerned it could cause booking requests to drag out...and that's what I don't want. At the same time, it's for sure time to cut a lot of the random stuff out. Especially when people get huffy and puffy when I try to get the most basic info beforehand. The stupidity of some people to not recognize I have no idea who they are, and they expect undivided attention and yes to everything before I even get the most basic information out of them. It almost makes me wonder, are these people just really inexperienced, or is that what the industry is allowing? Considering what some have said on the forum, it's no wonder some escorts never respond back to their messages. Many of the flakes had messages that should have been ignored right off the bat. -
Considering not displaying number in my RentMen ads
TallMuscl37 replied to TallMuscl37's topic in Questions About Hiring
There is an option for this, in our profile we can allow only registered members to contact us. I do that occasionally, but there's still the chance of "bad" premium members reaching us, and missing out on good guys who may not have registered for a profile. Good points, brother! I'm just at a point where I know I have to do things differently. Even though flakes and lookies are a part of the business, it has gotten persistent to where there's far more flakes than real clients on a day to day basis. Lot of them have reports already from other escorts on blacklist app, and the ones who don't usually get one once I catch onto their game. I don't mind talking thru email, but the area where I find this problematic is on Adam4Adam. I know, cringe. That site is also gone downhill with the reliability of clients. It has become the worst. Even the seemingly serious clients on there flake, some even when they've sent deposits. The ones who refuse to text or provide a number never show up. So, I can't work with them on email either, similiar to RentMen platform which I also don't communicate on. So by having my number up, they have to text me to arrange a session. But some can't seem to follow directions and don't text me as instructed. I been asking clients to send deposit to confirm the session, but now it's gotten to where I have to require it immediately within 1 response. was able to apply that in San Francisco. But all the ones I let "slide thru", ended up falling thru. So now, I'm being 100% adamant about no booking requests without payment upfront, period. Like I said before: clients have all the details they need on our ads to make a decision before they contact me. No need to be having additional conversations about anything. Pay first, talk after. Anything else is just working for free. I even endorse other providers to do the same thing. Normalize it. This could easily be resolved if sites would implement better screening policies. RentMen doesn't allow us to post number is our ads already, all they have to do is add a "pay now to book this provider" like booking an Uber/Lyft, but they don't want to implement my suggestions. So, gotta take a resolve into my own. -
Another example of small town action: I stopped over in a rural area east of Utah the other night, and came across an older, tatted daddy/muscle bottom type who reached out to me in one of the small towns I bunked up for the night. He wasn’t much further than a walk across the next hotel parking lot from me, and we were the only 2 on the block. Made for an easy hookup, but the caveat was: We met on the apps but I couldn’t convert him to a paid client. But that’s the downside of the small rural town: it’s nearly impossible to get someone to pay for *** even if they like you. And sometimes it’s a choice between a quiet night of no clients, or making lemonade out of 🍋 lol. That said; I will also advise that sometimes: a smaller market could work out for 1 trip, and then completely fail on the next (especially when scheduled in close range). Had that last week: I was super busy in one medium sized market earlier in March, but then I went back thru this month and couldn’t get any repeats or newbies to pan out. I ended up just staying for 1 night at a hotel that I only got to use for 12 hours, then left the city at 5 p.m. (I’m so fatigued and burnt out with hotels and how they make us pay TWICE just to get a full 24 hours out of it). In fact, I ended up having to travel between San Francisco to Denver having had 0 real clients along the way. Yet on the way to Seattle from Denver, I had a record breaking good streak. But It really hit my resources hard not having bookings on the way back, As I often use small markets to help “boost” my tour. Which is why I dislike flying, because it doesn’t give opportunity to stop at places along the way. But to have that occur, was nothing short of dismaying. Especially when I had potential bookings that flaked. Exactly why I’m changing up the way I do things going forward.

I haven’t personally heard of it before (I was thinking the porn site with a similar name) But from looking at the site, it doesn’t look great. It doesn’t feel like a Craigslist reinvent. There’s other sites like Mintboys and Doublelist, but both are low on the productivity scale, and DB forbids escort listings all together (unless you have time to try and turn lookers into bookers)…which, I wouldn’t bother because I’m moving away from “working” inquiries without being paid for my effort.

That’s all true. In my case, I have decided the only way to end the madness is to require people to make a deposit 💸 just to even discuss a session with me. This doesn’t just weed out flakes, but it also helps me keep track of actual booking requests versus the sea of, “Are you available” brigade that rarely pans out. If someone can’t part with a nominal fee to contact someone who has enough content to prove legible: the person isn’t serious, and they haven’t made up their minds. It shouldn’t be at my expense to help them figure it out when the content is already out there. I’ve given and given and given, and given some more: my time and energy, day after day, answering responses from “clients” that just never go anywhere. I was on the back end of my tour last week, stopped and posted up in 3 different city markets, and got nothing. I was getting booking requests, but nothing that actually turned into one. I wonder if there’s other reasons certain people may not have gotten replied back to. I mean, only the escort would know. But…I just know when I’ve referenced certain numbers, they had bad reports. Some guys might not be willing to take bookings from those who do. So if someone has flaked on a couple escorts before, or is trying to contact from a number that has no call ID attached, that person may not respond to you.

Hello 👋🏽 to both of you as SF locals. Thanks for the input. I must say: I been going to San Francisco since maybe 2013-14ish. Last week was my 4th trip to the area. Each trip is always a little different than the previous. This one was different because I had friends from out of town, and one who was local who knew the area as well. Don’t get me wrong (and I don’t want to get anyone else wrong) but San Francisco (and even Oakland/SJ) does still have a good pool of clients. In fact, ALL of my clients this trip came from outer lying areas. I didn’t meet any San Francisco city clients this time. Which was weird and uncommon. But then again, it was a weekend trip so maybe the locals go away. At the same time there is a lot more providers there, and there is a huge lack of affordable hotels. I recall my first trip: I landed a room by the Marina in Alameda for $36/night on 3rd party app. Even though I have elite membership and points with 3 chains, AND Marriott friends and family rate…it was still not easy finding something reasonable in the city. And they weren’t even all THAT expensive like graduation week in DC or even Palm Springs for that matter. But, it was still enough to staying for 5 days and only getting booking once a day on 3 of those days, interfered with some things I wanted to do. I was expecting at least 2 or 3 more bookings out if it.

I’m likely going to be cutting most of my big city travel going forward and only dealing with limited markets with deposits. I wanted to do one good big tour now that the west coast cities have fully reopened, but I wish I would have done more travel during the pandemic when things were cheaper and more people were off work. The main issue lately is, too many “clients” lying too much. I can’t be bothered traveling places, and being exposed to more and more liars and bullshitters. Who has time for that shit? Lot of this seems to occur in the city markets. I was brainstorming on joining the guys in Palm Springs this year, but to pull that trip off right now, I would need to spend above and beyond what I did even in San Francisco where I just came from (hotels have lost their minds and are trying to regain for their losses)…without a guarantee of securing SERIOUS clients over the course of the week. And considering the ratio of fake/real bookings, I didn’t want to take the chance.

Right! Glad you have understood it. The problem is, America’s “policies” are so simple and basic for such a hedonistic country…they won’t formally accept it to where people won’t be freaked out if a cop car passes by, at the same time the provider is scheduled to show. And it’s sad because there is still disposable income in smaller towns. Those people also don’t have access to gay culture or have retired from it due to health/family/financial reasons. I have relatives who live in small podunk towns. Those guys are driving around in $60,000/$80,000 trucks. They can surely afford $300 (even though I’m aware material possessions don’t necessarily equate to someone having access to disposable cash). The tricky part is finding which small market is really going to play out. Like I say, they aren’t all equal. University and agricultural cities (just ask how horse 🐎 hung, horny goat 🐐, and “stud” all come from 😆 tend to fare better than industrial or military towns.
