I partially disagree. These boys are in disadvantage yes, but they aren't 'exploited'. There's a MUTUAL agreement. Worst case one could say they're 'using' the clients, and viceversa. Rates are lower there yes, but we can't accept scams under cultural (or any) circumstances. For the record: Brazilians in general ARE thankful, these guys were just scammers. Banks and corporations only responsibility is to make money. Everyone is expected to bootstrap in times of crisis but most people, due to their life choices, dont have bootstraps. I think many people are just not hiring or making themselves available to hire. Someone asked if clients would be willing to hire if they or the provider was wearing a mask and it seems like the overwhelming response is no. I would think that both parties are choosing to take a risk if the are still meeting others at this time, so I'm not sure it makes sense for a client to pay more any more than it would for a client to make a low-ball offer in the assumption that a provider is desperate for work.

Even if I had the space and the resources, for me it would be a bad idea. For one thing, I’m pretty sure my husband of 25 years would object, LOL.
