I’ve never seen someone who is so invested in turning an escorts reputation around unless, of course, they were the escort himself.
If I have a horrible time with Escort Y and @Gymowner comes on and says, “What are you crazy? The guy is terrible. Another recent post talked about how a straight guy could touch his nipples (not with his mouth).  Straight guys usually have some strict limitations of what you can do.  That list has always been too short for me.  Especially when I can find gay guys who are just as hot that will allow and enjoy a lot more.  Maybe some people have had good luck with straight guys.  In 30 years of this hobby I haven't had that luck.

I had long ago decided that I would love to meet him and I'm unlikely to resile from that view but if I were not already convinced, his ceaseless adulation would make me doubt the wisdom of contacting Dean. A clingy succession of posts, each praising Dean more effusively than the last does nothing to help him. If he is as good as you say, and I don't doubt that he is, you will serve his interests better if you just STFU.

@StarGZ insulting me was really uncalled for. Your idol worship and near delusional romance of the guy is in some ways admirable and in other ways worrisome. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and probably a good escort but I doubt, after this, I want to know. I have no more to say as I’ve really said my thoughts but the escort would do himself a favor by asking you to tone it down or be quiet.

One might also add to the definition of “tacky” the following: “people who brag about how much money they have and how they can afford to give it to an escort even if the escort raises his rates”.
Some of these recent posts border on idol worship.  While I have infrequently been guilty of being infatuated with an escort I always remind myself it’s a business transaction and the escort really couldn’t care less about me as a person, only my Ben Franklins.

@RadioRob, rather than you owing any of us an apology, we all owe you our thanks - not just for your work over the last several hours, but for every day. THANK YOU!

Yesterday afternoon, I installed the latest update of the IPB software on the site.  Before I make any changes here, I make them first on a test board to make sure everything works as expected.  On the test board, the upgrade went very smoothly without problems.  When I applied them here, I encountered a number of errors. 
Ultimately I had to roll the site back to a backup from yesterday right before the upgrade started.  As a result, there may be some posts and PMs lost from yesterday afternoon/evening.  After restoring the site, there were a number of kinks such as the post editor not working correctly and images not displaying properly.  
The post editor is restored and I've fixed most of the image issues in the default theme.  I'm still working on fixing other themes and should have them corrected in the next couple of hours.  If you selected a custom theme, you'll need to select it again.  The restore set everyone back to the default theme. 
My apologies for the problems from last night and earlier today.   If you continue to see problems, let me know.
