I have the opposite problem. Any time I have tried to post a photo of myself, my computer messages me, "For the love of God and humanity, please don't post yourself"... LOL

Yes, I believe it's because the majority of our electricity is generated by dams. Water is one of our most abundant resources.

Israeli actor, writer, and illustrator, Chaim Topol - more commonly billed simply as 'Topol' - died today at the age of 88. Perhaps best known for his lead role as Tevye in the 1971 movie, Fiddler on the Roof, Topol had been diagnosed with Alzheimers disease some time ago as reported by his family. RIP.

Interesting concept, but would providers have the time or inclination to go through client profiles and select people to contact? It seems like that would be a lot of additional work without any guarantee of making a booking.

I know two people who were addicted to pornography. Both found it was consuming a huge amount of their time and they were even neglecting basic things like eating and bathing. Neither could form very meaningful romantic relationships because they preferred the fantasy aspect of pornography to the real deal. Each one went to a counsellor and received the help they needed. Counselling may be the thing to try, rather than a 12-step program, especially if it helps get to the root of the addiction. All the best to you - I hope it works out well, whatever you choose. Both of those I know are now in happy, healthy, committed relationships, and have full time jobs that they enjoy.

Ummm. It sounds like he's not interested in the bone.

I've read that death from cold exposure can be quite peaceful, and the conditions that weekend were colder than normal from what I remember. So hopefully his ending was without panic or fear.

How lucky for potential clients! They get to be judged first according to his standards, whatever those might be, AND they get to give him a donation for his time. Do they get to clean his house and wash his car too?

I think the oddest hookup would be if a bunch of prime numbers got together for an orgy. But I'm no mathematician.

My rule of thumb is to use a wine that you would also enjoy drinking by the glass, but is not expensive. If it isn't a taste you would normally like on it's own, then don't use it for any wine-based sauces. But for deglazing a pan I find it is usually okay to use something even cheaper. I use cooking wine as well if the recipe specifies it's use, and I do not substitute anything else for Chinese cooking wine when making Chinese dishes.

I don't know if I would agree that men are generally shallow and critical about appearance. Perhaps men can be more narrow minded about things that they find attractive, but I know many women whose shallowness has astounded me when it comes to judging others on their physical appearance. More than men I know. In fact, most men I know have surprisingly low standards - though that has never benefitted me 🤣 I agree a thick skin is more and more necessary, especially since many people seem to be willing to use social media to destroy others so that they feel better about themselves. And I've never found it worth my effort to ruthlessly defend myself to anyone in person or online - that isn't where I want to focus my energy. If people do not wish to respond in kindness, than I tend to ignore or take a step back. There are limits to what a thick skin can do to protect oneself - no matter the thickness of skin, things can still be hurtful.

That is so rude. Where is common decency these days?

Oh well... three strikes against me. I'm not Indian, I'm not Korean, and my faith is pretty central to who I am.
