Hmmm... is he the guy who does a 6-hand massage with Paper and Scissors? 🤔

The iconic singer, actor and activist who broke through racial barriers has died at the age of 96. He died today of congestive heart failure at his New York apartment. RIP...

I have done two Alaska cruises - one was on Holland America and was round-trip, and the other was Princess with the flight home from Anchorage. I think the average age on Princess was 50s and 60s, so considerably older than me at the time. The Holland America cruise attracted an even older crowd - possibly because they did not have to fly (I found that on round-trip Hawaii cruises too). It was nice to basically have the run of the ship after about 9pm or so. But some of those seniors were definitely night owls and I'm sure I was in bed before a few of them each night.

But no "See you soon, baboon"

Almost exactly 86 years since the last one....

I've started a new thread when one already exists for two main reasons: 1. I have a bad memory 2. I'm not good at using the search function

'Wolf' is not an animal that comes to mind when I see the ad. 🤔

Into cute Mexican midgets? Was the call to Tom Mabe or was it really to Austin Wolf? LOL

I think one problem is that Vancouverites are so proud of their natural setting that the city itself has missed out on developing amazing architecture like Chicago and some other cities. TBH I don't find Toronto to be that special either, though old Montreal speaks to me - probably because it is more European in style and feel.

Vancouver, BC has a beautiful setting - ocean and mountains and all that. Some nice heritage buildings and great Asian cuisine choices. I haven't lived there for quite some time, but relatives who still do have told me that the city is becoming increasingly dangerous compared to years gone by. Some suburbs in particular. There is a huge affordable housing shortage and the number of people living in their cars and on the streets is shocking. Tent cities springing up in various areas - many of the people living in the tents with untreated addiction and mental health issues. When I lived in BC more than ten years ago it was a nice place to be, but I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get. I'm sure I would feel that even more if I lived there today. The people are not particularly friendly - it was a difficult place to get to know people. Yes, everyone is super polite and apologetic, but genuine warmth was often lacking. At least that was my experience for what it is worth. Also, for those who like museums and other cultural activities, Vancouver was a bit of a desert.

I guess Drago is an anxious sort of guy... LOL

What does it matter if he misused the word 'concrete'? It's all just cementics anyway.

According to his ad he is a masseuse, and he 'don't no offer full service'. Does the double-negative convert to a positive? LOL. I think he means he does not offer that

There is a market for almost everything it seems...

I thought that Kosher Dogs would be more along the lines of this
