  1. She came close... pretty much got to see her birthday cake being baked, but never got to blow out the candles. And you won't even be a semi-supercentenarian in 2050, since that starts at 105. You're a mere youngster!
  2. I recall something from years ago that showed the progression of housing towards the shoreline over the decades. The photos showed much longer setbacks in the past, where it would have been comparatively safer to build. With each decade, new homes were built closer and closer to the shore, and in one or two cases, owners even built their new homes closer to the water after their original homes had been destroyed by a hurricane. Nominees for the Darwin Awards, perhaps.
  3. Maybe he doesn't inhale...
  4. Massaging you was such a pleasure for him that he decided to pay you for your time instead? 😆
  5. Is anyone willing to share the recommendations with their links, or are the Orlando masseurs in the witness protection program?
  6. Maybe he'll take you to the Grand 'Hole Opry
  7. If you have to build your house on stilts it may be a sign you should build further inland, or at a higher elevation...
  8. Well, at least she's independent
  9. You mention you use Old Spice, which hearkens back to sailing ships filled with young men shivering their timbers and shooting across the bow with all hands on dick. I mean, deck. So I think that alone proves you're gay. But if you used Stetson, you'd probably be straight - though maybe not, given Brokeback Mountain. And Old English Leather speaks for itself.
  10. I don't believe the unprocessed trauma 'often' turns someone into a perpetrator. It is way more complex than that. And many abuse survivors would never even think of harming someone else - particularly since they know what it is like to be violated and then have to live with the effects.
  11. The movie with Timothee Chalamet, "Call Me By Your Name"
  12. And he put in back in his lunch box.... 🤢
  13. At least you know it may mean he's not afraid to wear white (fluid) after Labor Day...
  14. Did you call him by your name?
  15. Maybe someone will share feedback about Teday temorrow.
  16. Just an FYI and to avoid any confusion, the term 'masseuse' normally refers in English to a female massage provider, whereas 'masseur' is used for male providers.
  17. The childish meme resonates with me. It's important to retain a childlike sense of wonder and experience: being amazed at the beauty of a blooming flower, getting excited at the sight of a thundering waterfall, relishing the quiet moments spent with a close friend, wearing a properly-fitted diaper in case you need to go poopy or weewee during the previously mentioned activities...
  18. He might get on your back and call you Bucephalus.
  19. My cousin refuses to deposit cash or cheques in the ATM because she thinks they can go missing somewhere behind the screen.
  20. I couldn't comprehend spending thousands for a watch. I have the ability to do that, but I guess it just isn't a priority for me. Hopefully nobody wants to steal my $89 Timex. That's my 'fancy' watch - normally I'm wearing a $20 cheapo for working around the house and running errands.
  21. When did Jared Leto cut his hair?
  22. I think it has to do with the cleanliness spectrum following the geographical lines of longitude, much like the orbit of the earth around the sun. The further east in Canada you go, the cleaner you become. When I lived in BC I showered only once a week - even less than that when I visited the west coast of Vancouver Island. But showering became a daily thing when I moved to the Prairies. Now in Ontario I normally bathe twice a day, while my friends in Newfoundland almost never leave their showers. That might also help explain the very high unemployment rates in Atlantic Canada. 😆
  23. Neither the result of God or Satan - it's just the fact that we live in a world where terrible things can happen. And often when others use their free will to make stupid decisions, like driving while impaired.
