I mean this respectfully, but it seems like every post you have made (unless I have missed some) appears to relate a very negative experience. And in at least one instance you ended up deleting some of the comments and retracting what you said, stating that it was incorrect. Credibility can be easily challenged in these circumstances, so I'm just wondering if everything is okay?

I completely agree. I am one of the few adults who has never seen another's genitalia in real life, except when I was in primary swimming lessons and the others in my class changed in front of everyone. At that age everyone is pretty small. So my only context has been what you see online, which is not healthy from a self-confidence perspective. If I need to use a public restroom I will always choose a cubicle over the urinal, unless the restroom is empty and there is no expectation that anyone else will come in. While this might make it seem like I'm a prude, I'm only a prude with myself - and only because I have this deep held belief that I would never 'measure up' compared to others. Insecurity, especially insecurity rooted in ignorance, is a real bitch.

That's horrible. Hopefully he's just spewing nonsense due to the drugs or a personality disorder, but these days you cannot be too careful. Trying to reason with someone who is mentally unwell usually won't bring the desired results. I agree with @Pensant - speak to a lawyer and get proper advice. And take good care of yourself!

I could never engage in Onanism, lest I grow hair on the palms of my hands. But seriously, I've heard that the 'sin' of Onanism (self-pleasuring to climax) is a much later misinterpretation of a Biblical passage where the character Onan spills his seed on the ground, rather than fulfilling the levirate obligation of consummating a required marriage to his late older brother's widow. In the story, God apparently strikes him dead. Not for masturbating, but for not fulfilling the obligation he had as the surviving younger brother. I hope this post is not taken as a 'religious' post - that is not my intention at all. It's meant to be a historical explanation about why western society has traditionally been uncomfortable with self-pleasure. And it also probably explains why nobody ever names their son Onan.

Very sad. Hopefully there may be a way to slow it's progression. I'm not that familiar with with eye health, but one of my relatives gets injections in his eye to slow the degeneration of his retina or macula. I hope there might be similar options available for this person.
