  1. You never know how much "stuff" you have until you move. I lived in my previous home for just under 20 years. When I decided to move a couple years ago I knew I needed to purge. The process took weeks since I was doing it alone and I had what I called "anaysis paralysis." You just look at the closet or room you're about to decultter and you don't know where to start. It really is overwhelming. I decided before the process that whatever I hadn't seen, touched, or used within the last two years was going out, and I stuck to that with very few exceptions. I donated what was acceptable and trashed what wasn't. I was able to arrange a Goodwill pick up since I had so much to donate and had 4 - 6 contractor size trash bags at the curb each week for trash pick-up. When the actual move occurred, I still had a full truck and the only furniture I took, so I had somewhere to sit and sleep until my new furniture arrived, was my old bed and sofa.
  2. Like the Grindr guys whose blank, picture-less profile says “drop your digits to me so I know you’re real.”
  3. I did this with a Grindr hookup in Boston a couple years ago. I was staying at Lowe’s and they have keycards. We were texting each other as he walked to my hotel. I went to the lobby when he arrived. When I exited the elevator he was being questioned by a hotel employee. I immediately said, “Hey Greg, what’s up cuz?” while we gave each other a hug, started a conversation with him and walked back into the elevator after thanking the employee for taking care of my cousin. We both started laughing as soon as the elevator doors closed. I’m sure hotel employees have seen it all and really don’t care who’s hooking up with whom, as long as no one is being assaulted or trafficked.
  4. I'll second that. @MascFitStudis my favorite as well....actually, he's my regular go-to. After an unbearably lengthy hiatus from seeing him, I had an incredible overnight with him last weekend. Awesome guy.
  5. Awakened...Kent McCord in Adam-12. I'd watch this show as a small child and be so attracted to him. Even then I knew it was "wrong" because boys were supposed to like girls. Reaffirmed...a few years later, Christopher Knight (the older version of Peter Brady).
  6. There are lots of things we did or didn’t do/have 10 or 15 years ago. Times change. @Alexphillyhas the right to do whatever he is comfortable with on his ad. No one is arguing that. He seems to be ok with losing potential clients over this issue. As I said in my original comment, I’d never hire without a face pic. Your face is part of the product you’re selling. Over time he’ll discover whether this works for him and adjust, if necessary. If it isn’t, and your assumption is correct that he doesn’t want friends and family to discover this part of his life, he’ll need to decide whether to change his approach or discontinue in this business. Regardless, I wish him success.
  7. I think what made (makes) Friends popular and unique was that it was a true ensemble cast. None of the characters was the lead. They all had equal billing (alphabetically) and all were paid the same. Seinfeld without Seinfeld wouldn’t have worked. I also think there was good chemistry between the cast members. If you ever get an opportunity to watch the outtakes and bloopers on YouTube, they seem to have enjoyed what they were doing. I’m sure part of that was the $1M per episode they were earning during the last two seasons and they still earn 2% of the $1B earned annually by Warner Brothers thru syndication. It’s a television juggernaut.
  8. Just watched the last episode last night. I suspected it wasn’t wrapped up considering they had their suspect in custody early on. Had a “holy shit” moment when it all came together. Enjoyed the series, but as a local, they overdid the Philly accent. It was too pronounced.
  9. At 27-years old, Brad Pitt played a high school senior in this early 1991 movie. He had the baby face to pull it off. The movie sucked but there was some decent eye candy. Lots of young guys in running shorts. Available on Amazon Prime.
  10. If you have an ad on RentMen, why not put some face pics in your private gallery? Even premium clients need to request access to those. You then control who sees them and you can always block their access after they’ve viewed them. Personally, I would never hire without seeing a face pic.
  11. For me, the BFE enhances the sex. I love intimacy more than anything. When my regular and I have our “date nights” it’s all about taking our time, enjoying each other’s company, catching up, having a glass of wine and a meal, making out (lots of making out), and cuddling while we sleep. The sex is a big part of the experience, but it’s the cherry on the sundae.
  12. I think part of this trend is due to the proliferation of OnlyFans and JustForFans sites. They're probably making more money "collabing" with each other than they were seeing unknown clients. They know how to network with each other and cross-promote their sites, which often times exposes them to a larger subscriber pool.

    Jury Duty

I’ve been called several times and sat through multiple voire dire sessions, but never been chosen. My guess is because I have family in LE. On one occasion, I was called in as part of a jury pool for a first-degree murder case. We waited in the deliberation room and each person called in individually. We were told the only people in the courtroom would be the judge, bailiff, court reporter, prosecutor, defense attorney, and the defendant. They were there, along with the defendant’s whole family in the gallery staring daggers at each juror during the session. It was intimidating, and civic duty be damned, I supplied answers I knew would get me dismissed. I wanted no part of that trial.
  14. Mine were all added well before the conversion, if that helps you troubleshoot. Not a big deal, just thought it was weird that some members’ lists carried over and others didn’t.
  15. Wonder what would cause it to work for some but not others?
  16. @RadioRobDid the members who we followed and followed us get carried over to the new platform? My profile shows one follower who wasn’t following me before the migration and none of the members I followed appear in my profile. Sorry if this was asked already. I searched “follow” and “follower” in all content over the past week and nothing relevant appeared. Thanks!

I communicated with @joshnineplus last year after exchanging comments on here. We discussed him coming for an extended visit. He was extremely engaging and seems very genuine and intelligent. Definitely more than just an attractive exterior, which I find sexy. Unfortunately, it never happened with the virus and quarantine, but I would definitely consider meeting with him based on that conversation.

  19. I’m amazed the majority of my contacts, both personal and professional, who use Venmo have their privacy settings set to public. I’m also surprised the Venmo default is public and they haven’t had enough push back to change it. I’ve seen transactions between my manager and his son, the sales guy at my auto dealership paying for football tickets, my next door neighbor paying another neighbor for groceries. I haven’t seen anything salacious, but regardless of purpose, I wouldn’t want my financial transactions to be public. What I haven’t figured out is if I have my settings as private and the other party is public, does the transaction, including my name, appear on the public party’s feed which is viewable by their contacts, who may also be one of my contacts? ?
  20. My local Exxon before the pipeline issue. I attributed it to seasonality increases and higher demand since COVID restrictions are loosening and people are traveling more. I need to fill up again. Wondering what the price will be now.
  21. Several years ago I was in Charleston visiting a friend who talked incessantly about the Citadel boys. I thought he was exaggerating. He wasn’t. Those boys were unbelievably fit and good-looking. We saw a group of them running drills together along Queen Street and there wasn’t an unattractive one in the bunch.
  22. I considered hiring him near the end of 2019. He contacted me via RM after he saw I viewed his profile and suggested we move the conversation to text, which I did since I was interested. We exchanged a couple texts, then I read some existing comments here and reviews elsewhere, most of which weren't positive or flattering. Ultimately, I decided to not meet with him. He contacted me a couple times after that telling me he was available and suggesting a time in the same evening. Even if I had not read those comments and reviews, it came across as too pushy and desperate. I never replied. Interestingly, after our initial text conversation, he began to and still occasionally appears in Facebook's "People You May Know" suggestions with his real name and an unrestricted profile.
  23. Freewheeling is an accurate description. I went in the mid-90’s as well and those $10 per song dances were awesome. I’d easily blow through $150 (among other things) in a night in those private booths. The city had a great vibe at that time. Church Street was a lot of fun. I remember watching QAF a few years later and thinking their exterior shots of Liberty Avenue looked so familiar. Then I saw the exterior shot of Woody’s and realized it was TO. Someday I’ll get back there.
