I’m the same—no trouble when solo, but takes me forever when with a partner. I was really hoping there might be a pill for that.

I’ve seen a few threads on oral tops, but based on some of the responses, I’m not sure if others define that as I do. I’m looking for good tops who also are good at performing oral. To be fair, some (maybe even many?) of the guys who are immigrants may have legitimate expenses they are trying cover. I’ve been involved with a few guys in the past from the Caribbean and Latin America who had to survive in an American city with high costs of living while sending money back to their families in their home country. And if they were undocumented, their work options were extremely limited. Ultimately, I passed on Mathianis since I wasn’t ready to pay his high fee. But I want to caution myself against assuming that he’s just greedy and unscrupulous.

I reached out to him recently for an outcall. First he quoted $600/hour. When I told him that $600 was above my budget, he went down to $500. I quickly realized that he was out of my price range, so I politely told him I’d have to pass. By the time he went down to $350/hour for an in-call, I had already confirmed an outcall with another provider who was in my price range. I’ve never negotiated over a provider’s rate, and I wasn’t trying to do so in this instance (honestly, I was caught off-guard when he started lowering his rate). For those of you who’ve had good experiences with Mathianis, would you say that the experience is worth the higher rate? I might give him a try if I knew that he offered something special that the $300/hour providers don’t.

I saw him this week in NYC. Charming guy, great experience. Will definitely repeat if I can catch him when he’s traveling in the northeast.
