The overwhelming number of 5-star reviews would outweigh it. At least I saved $350. (Yeah, overpriced, too!)

Not too long ago a "professional" guy reneged on an appointment without warning. He never gave me an exact address, and later claimed he was napping. (Phones have alarms!) Now I'm sitting in another park waiting for another "professional" (highly rated on RM I should add) to acknowledge my texts and give me an address. He can't use the napping excuse, because RM shows him actively online, "Available now", and receiving messages there, too, though he doesn't open them. (Single check mark.) If he wanted to cancel, why didn't he man up and do so? I travel in from the burbs on bus and train, and these games are monumental wastes of time for me.

I'm tempted to call him out by name here and on RM with a bad review, as I did the last ass to pull this stunt, but this one isn't local and will just drift back to NYC where bad behavior is apparently acceptable.

Per the blond: I'll ask him if he needs more business and tell you privately. He's on RM, you can find him there easily...

I have a reliable blond boy coming to see me tomorrow... Different skill set, and actually I only agreed to a second session this week because he offered and I didn't want to disappoint him (the blond kid).

He seems to have accrued quite a few positive reviews on RM this year. Perhaps he took a course in personal management? Although I question the 10" he lists under u-know-what. Why must everyone exaggerate? I suppose if my prefs were driven by size, I might be swayed, but no. So, can anyone here attest to his companionability?

Just met him. Handsome, polite, respectful, sexy, easy to talk to, and he has an intellectual side.

No I didn't see him! I wasted 4 hours traveling downtown, waiting for him to wake up and notice his text (set an alarm, dummy!) and then traveling home. On my way home he sent me abusive texts (until I blocked him) because I gave him a negative RentMen review.

Update: I saw he was coming to my locale so I made an inquiry on RM. He replied in a timely manner with a canned response that included a request for a deposit to secure a reservation. I wrote back declining the prepay option, but asked a few more questions relevant to a meeting. That was weeks ago, and haven't heard a word from him since. Make of this interaction what you will.

I have just set up an appointment for later this week. Seems to be an accessible, easy-going guy. I'll post a follow-up to let you know how it goes.

I should hope that if you are suddenly "called away" from a negotiation for whatever reason that you politely wrap it up, even in a superficial manner, with an excuse like "I just remembered--I have a dinner date tonight" or "Excuse me, gotta run, the cat's on fire" rather than leave the other person dangling.

Or, more precisely, an 11-month summary, as it begins when I joined the modern age of telephony (don't ask!) last March. The numbers here represent individuals, not sessions. To enumerate:

3 great guys. None of them local, but 2 of them do visit regularly. All worthy of repeat business.

1 other great guy, but not my type, so it's unlikely I'll book him if ever he does show up again.

1 good guy whose performance was hampered by a cold.

    2 so-so guys, not repeated.

2 low-priced amateurs--1 decent, 1 not yet ready for prime time.

2 washouts, uncompensated--they refused to engage me upon meeting.

3 disappointments, compensated--misrepresentations or otherwise not meeting my expectations.

1 total ass who kept me waiting 6 hours (via progressive texts) and then disappeared. We never met, and I suspect some substance was addling his brain.

There you have it: out of 15, 6 decent, 3 moderately good, 6 awful. Rather a boring bar graph, I'm afraid.

Perhaps some of you will remember a post of mine from Fall 2019 (I'm too lazy to look it up) about a provider who asked for a prepayment (i.e., a loan) which I sent his way. We finally got around to settling accounts. It wasn't for lack of trying on his part--I had to turn him down 4 times because it wasn't convenient. (He tends to breeze through town with little to no advance warning.) This time I said, o hell, let's do this, even though I had just spent a satisfying hour with another provider earlier in the day. I feel like a slut... A happy slut!
