Greg250 reacted to JRNOFEXPRS in The Difference Between Touch and Connection is Story Worthy
For the first decade of my work as a masseur, I said yes to almost everyone.
Not because I lacked standards.
But because I was building a life around something more important than comfort.
Time.
Massage work gave me the ability to be present while my son was growing up. Present for conversations, afternoons, and ordinary moments many fathers miss while chasing survival.
See previous post: The Greatest Luxury This Industry Gave Me Was Time
But age changes a man.
Not only physically.
Energetically.
You begin noticing what enters your nervous system and what lingers there afterward. You start understanding that human interaction is not neutral. Some people leave peace behind them. Others leave static.
Eventually you realize that not every connection is meant to go deeper.
Especially in this line of work.
People often imagine massage as something purely physical. A transaction. A service. An hour on a table.
But some evenings evolve into something far more human than that.
When trust exists…
when barriers fall away naturally…
when someone allows themselves to be fully seen…
those moments stay with you.
Some of the most meaningful connections I have experienced over the years are the very ones that later found their way into my sensual memoirs. Not because of explicitness. But because there was something emotionally beautiful present between two people for a brief moment in time.
Presence.
Trust.
Psychology.
Energy.
Awareness.
That realization eventually changed the way I viewed my work.
I no longer see myself as simply offering massage.
What I provide now is better understood as luxury bodywork and wellness companion work. The experience has become slower. More intentional. More intuitive.
Less performance.
More presence.
And truthfully, I have become more selective about who enters that space with me.
Not based on status.
Not based on perfection.
But based on emotional resonance.
Some people simply feel story worthy.
Their energy is grounded.
Their intentions are clear.
Their presence softens the room instead of disturbing it.
Those are the people who tend to unlock the deepest version of my work.
Because once I genuinely see someone beneath the performance they show the world, my own barriers tend to disappear too.
And what unfolds after that no longer feels rehearsed.
It feels human.
The older I get, the less interested I am in entertaining chaos simply because someone can afford access.
Alignment matters more to me now.
Not everyone reaches the table anymore.
And honestly, I think that is one of the healthiest things age has taught me.

Greg250 reacted to DznNYC in *Encouraging Providers to Participate more on Forums.
This forum could be a real asset to providers. Being newer to RM, I only have 500 characters to communicate who I am and what I offer. This offers a chance to communicate more thoughtfully and give guys on the other side of this industry a more complete view of who I am.
But this can be a treacherous place for providers! Many of us have scaled back participation for that reason.
There's some really dominant toxic voices. There's a loud peanut gallery that seems to make a hobby of comments ranging from critical to derogatory about providers they've never met or hired. ("Needs to hit the gym," "Terrible tattoos," "Too girlie!" "Looks older than he lists," "PNP means he's a junkie!" "Smoker!") There's a strong risk of slander, against which it's all but impossible to defend yourself. (I've watched it happen to providers I know well and trust!) And there's some known scammers - about whom we all warn each other - regularly contributing as though they're legitimate clients.
If there were more to be gained here for us to participate, it would probably draw more of us back. A sub-forum to promote ourselves? Would anyone actually take advantage? Maybe not.
Worth noting: Every client I've met who uses this site - contributor or lurker - has been a top notch guy, just doing their research a bit more thoroughly. So the issue really does just seem to be the loudest most toxic voices.

Correct.
There is no shame in what he does for a living. He is openly bisexual and busy providing for his family while bringing joy to his customer's day. What could be more positive and healthy ?
Anyone who sees it otherwise is dragging their own fucked up insecurities to the table.

Greg250 got a reaction from Luv2play in Booking Sites for Travel
Like you, I’m a comparison shopper whenever I purchase anything… important to do the research to get the best deal. I’ve used Booking.com for travel (never had any issues with them) but I always check with the hotel website as well because they sometimes have good offers during low season travel.

I think you’d be surprised how many of us - regular old Rent Men escorts - are actually well educated, with real degrees from reputable higher education institutions. Some of us wear suits well and move comfortably among sophisticated crowds, even without being on the arm of a generous gentleman. Many of us even read books!
I think you have more options for this than you may realize. I can easily name a handful of escorts I know in person who fit this description. Including myself! 😏
Happy hunting! I’m confident the guy you’re looking for is out there.

Greg250 got a reaction from + Just Sayin in Gay Male Massage Exchange Groups?
About a decade or so ago I joined this massage exchange group…
https://www.massageexchange.com Free Massage : Therapeutic Massage : Sensual Massage MassageExchange.com members meet to share free bodywork sessions. Money never changes hands - members are forbidden from charging other members. Anyway I only ever exchanged a couple of times. Once was when I was traveling to London and had some time to kill between meetings. I met up with a tall handsome black man in business attire and had an afternoon exchange session at his hotel. Before going to his room we had a drink in the lobby bar to get to know each other a little bit as we only had a couple online chats… let me just say that it was one of the best sessions I ever had. I have no idea what the website would be like now. -

I'm absolutely more likely to engage a provider 40+
If desperate, 35 is the absolute youngest. I like men, not boys. There are any number of reasons - the same that I do not seek social relationships with young gay men. Communication styles demand a learning curve from both of us.
I loved having a long career working alongside performers (and other artists) aged 14- 90, and will gladly hang out with my niece and nephews 20-30's.
On my dime, it's adults only.

Greg250 reacted to Danny-Darko in Do you become less selective over time?
I don't think anybody has made any assumptions. You asked, and people have answered. And surprisingly there seems to be a common consensus. But neither being less, same or more selective is neither good nor bad. These are all personal choices. It was a very good question to ask. It's given me and probably others food for thought. I've had to reflect back on a lifetime of gay sex and hiring since my first hire was just days after turning 19! Nobody is judging here I don't think. I'm appreciating everybody's feedback.

I had another look at Booking.coms rates today since they sent me a follow up email after I didn’t go through with booking my stay with them. I had made a mistake and their rates weren’t twice those the hotel offered but they were $100 for the 2 nights.
So I’m glad I booked directly with the hotel and got a better room. And the $100 saving will pay for the gas to get to Toronto. Lol

Greg250 reacted to + Jamie21 in What is a tantric massage>
Humpty Dumpty tells Alice, "When I use a word... it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less".
That’s what tantric massage means. So I suggest you ask the masseur to explain what’s included, in simple words. If there’s a lot of references to Lingam, energy, chakras and sacred stuff you might want to ask him to translate it to more plain language. It will include breathing work, massage on and around your genitals and other intimate areas and will most likely be done naked. It doesn’t necessarily include a happy ending…

I was in Studio 54 in the late 1990s when the Roundabout Theatre took it over and staged Cabaret there (with Alan Cumming at the Emcee). It was fantastic to be at the “Kit Kay Club” and incorporated into the show. I had a memorable time.

Greg250 reacted to BSR in The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel
I had a surprisingly nice flight from Barcelona->Bogotá on Air Europa, an airline I had never heard of before, even though It’s Spain’s 3rd biggest airline. I picked it without hesitation over Iberia because it was 900€ cheaper, 1300€ vs.2200€. Also, as much as Iberia claims to be a luxury airline, I have found that they’re just not that great.
It was my first time in a 787, not that it felt any different from any other plane. The first meal was the best I’ve ever had in the air, although I’ve flown business only on United, Iberia, Etihad, and Aerolíneas Argentinas. My only mild complaint was no hot flight attendants. Iberia has a lot of male flight attendants, and I swear they must hire them off Grindr.

Greg250 reacted to DznNYC in Has anyone paid to unexpire a person's ad?
I have literally always wondered this question.
And for the first time in my life on RentMen, I've let my profile expire. I have unrelated seasonal work that makes it all but impossible to see clients - apart from the occasional existing regular - during November and December. I've struggled with how to manage this. Do I keep my face and name out there for when I'm back at it in January? Or is that just promoting a brand around the idea of Unavailable? Also, RentMen is an expensive racket for a provider. Between gold memberships and platinum boosts, it's a lot! So it feels like an unjustifiable expense at this point.
The point being: for the first time ever, I'm a viable recipient for this gift! 🎉
That said, the question of this topic remains. Why would anyone ever do that for me? Literally no idea. A tip/bonus from a happy client? Makes perfect sense. A material gift from a happy client? Makes perfect sense. This one... I honestly can't imagine it's a thing.
But definitely expect my ad on your front page in January, New York. Paid for by yours truly...
