Do we extend the argument to include, for example, all the guys on Seeking Arrangements who have variations of "straight but broke and desperate" in their ads?
 
I'm not trying to trivialize or dismiss the question. When you aren't creating the circumstances of their situation, and they are the ones who have taken that first step, at what point is it exploitation?

Is making an offer that helps them out financially considered coercing? I have helped many straight guys out and they return on their own so it must be ok with them. I've even had one baby momma call me asking if her baby daddy can come back over because he needs to pay the rent.

And if those with HIV are on meds, even better. They medically cannot pass the virus... Period.
 
People need to educate themselves before making antiquated proclamations.

Everyone needs to be aware, PrEP is not for the protection of anyone except the person taking it. I take it every single day. There is no way to even know if someone takes it regularly. I wouldn't depend on the word of a 20 year old who says they are on it and takes it every day. We are all in charge of our own bodies.

No. I'm on PrEP. Also, if they knew, they were on meds and undetectable. That, along with PrEP that I know I take regularly, is good enough for me. I had to use condoms thru the 80s and 90s and beyond. I want to go bare with PrEP. However, it's discussed before I hook up and has to be ok with them as well.
 
The "problem" that I also educate younger dudes on is the person who recently got infected and doesn't know it. His viral load can be quite high in the early stages and very contagious.

Hey, I have not seen Hogan in probably a year. I can certainly vouch he exists. I have no idea what has transpired with him in that time. He was great each time I saw him.
