  1. As a client, I wouldn't pay a deposit for an in call, but honestly for an outcall where the provider has to drive an hour or more, it definitely makes sense to provide some kind of compensation. I think your best bet is to let them know that up front if you're traveling.

"Hi there, I'd be happy to do an out call at your location but do request an up front travel fee of _____. Please let me know if that works for you."

If they say no, move on. If yes, then you're good to go.

  2. Here's a tip when you come across someone charging more for their services than you want to pay: don't hire them. There's plenty of masseurs out there and absolutely no point in getting caught up in ones that decide to charge more for their time. It's like standing outside of a high end restaurant and getting upset that they're not charging McDonald's prices. Just move on with your day.

  3. My personal stance is that people shouldn't fool themselves into thinking it's anything more than a good time that's being paid for. A business exchange with some personality. I think problems arise because people have unfulfilled emotional needs, and that kind of thing can turn sad or ugly, quick. I'm sure there are escorts out there that have formed relationships or friendships with some clients, but I also suspect that some of those clients may be fooling themselves into thinking those relationships are more than they actually are.
