Guys, it's been several months now since @RadioRob took the reins as webmaster for this site.  By all accounts the site is better, more contemporary, has more features and forums, and has a even-handed webmaster (and group of moderators) than previously (with no disrespect to those who carried the torch before).    @RadioRob does an amazing amount of work quietly, consistently, without fanfare and without seeking or expecting praise.   The site, and this community are thriving and we are a better community for his efforts.   Please take a moment to acknowledge his work, and to donate to this site here:  https://www.companyofmen.org/store/category/1-one-time-donations/

I really do not want to get into a political discussion on the finance forum. But would just like to point out that Americans saying the U.S. is on the wrong track could have various causes beyond a pure gauge of the economy. For example, many people surely think the country is on the "wrong track" after the Supreme Court overruling Roe V Wade.
Certainly the economy contributes to those numbers but there are certainly other factors as well. 

We’re fucked. 
And trying to talk about the economy without talking about politics is 
like trying to talk about male strip clubs, without talking about dicks.
Although technically possible, it misses the point entirely.

Where I live it's still a common practice for people to shout out "thank you" to the bus driver as people of getting off at there stop.  A pleasant hold over of previous times.  xxxx 
Do people still say thank you to the driver where you are when alighting? 
Or other pleasant social norms still surviving through these times?
