My (newly) open marriage has similar rules as described by @liubit, we find guys separately, no bringing guys at home, tell everything, only working boys, EXCEPT that we allow to get one-off hook ups, but if we find one, then we have to use the hookup guy only once and block him immediately afterwards. In short, affairs are not allowed. So if it is for pay, as many times with the same guy as we want, if it is for free, only one-time fucks are allowed, because we don’t want a guy to fall in love with us.
Ps: while we know with who, we don’t actually discuss the what or how very much.

Open relationships where two guys can talk freely about sex is a healthy, important thing. It's also incredibly rare.
Don't ask, don't tell only works for so long.

YES! This trend has been in play for years now, and I am wishing it will pass. Well-groomed guys with beards can be hot, but the hipster trend moved into plain ol’ lazy slob territory. Lots of guys sport neck hair which is just plain unkempt. Give me a clean-cut guy with a fresh shave ANY day. It’s become a novelty in the Bay Area to find a clean, shaved face - just as it is to find a guy without tattoos.
Personal taste varies of course, but - my wish is that the slobs start taking some pride and grooming with or without facial hair. Shape that mess!

I hear you, and bow in your honor. Part of the issue for me is geography. If I can safety stereotype in this thread - loads of Millennials in my area (Silicon Valley/SF), and as a generation... there is a heaping herd of lazy groomers. I am on a mission to change a trend that is SO much bigger than me!

wbtravis reacted to + VictorPowers in PrEp is NOT a free pass for unprotected Sex
I may be opening Pandora’s box with this thread. In the end it’s a judgment call and my own health, right? HIV is only one concern of many. I have never had anything in my history of sexual escapades working and not working. I think my action towards staying that way fuels the measures I take.
Interesting idea. I do not publicly post on my ad I’m on PrEp, but will answer truthfully if asked. Sometimes admission of PrEp use can ease some minds.

My preference is use of a condom. I’m a bottom and a sex worker which puts me in a higher risk category. It’s very common for a client to ignore this preference and insist no condom use when I tell them I’m on PrEp. I get the feeling they think it is a free pass to do as they please. Frustrating.

To some, it is. And the data support that view. Congratulations for not allowing youself to be pressured into doing something you don't want to do.

Going out on a limb here. All of these replies speak to personal taste, but few address the laziness of guys hiding behind the beard trend when it’s really just laziness. The distinction for me is shaping on the face and neck. I just want to shake some of the otherwise hot guys... go full on Cher, and smack them with a “SNAP OUT OF IT!”.

My partner and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary living together. After the first three honeymoon weeks together, we both admitted that we were attracted to other men as well, and the only way our relationship was likely to survive was if we were honest about it. Therefore, we accepted the fact that sex with others was going to happen, maybe even affairs--they did--and we shared the necessary information about who we were sleeping with. We also had an understanding that, because we loved each other, we would let one another go if one of those other relationships reached that level of importance that one of us wanted to leave. It got close a couple of times, but we always decided that our relationship was too important to us, and we split with the potential new partner. I started hiring escorts partly because it eliminated the potential for emotional involvement. In 2013, we got married, and we have been monogamous ever since. (OK, OK! I'll admit it has been easy, since we don't get any other offers nowadays.)

My partner and I have an open relationship, but it's very one-sided. He's uncomfortable having sex with guys he doesn't know, so he rarely has sex outside of our relationship. I find it a big hassle to do so, so I do it less and less. I have a few FBS of fairly long standing and a few favored escorts, but I don't get around much.

What's with all the beards??? I know it's a matter of personal taste (not mine) like tattoos or hirsute guys, but is it me, or do lots more men have beards now? I see so many I would hire if they did not.

My relationship (16 years and counting) is open, with just three rules: fool around with working boys ONLY (non-commercial hookups are a total no-no); never bring guys home, and kiss and tell everything. It has worked for us.
