In a ideal situation where everything is legal I think we'd all want to know. The issue is that it's not how much everyone would prefer to know versus the fact that not everyone wants the legal liability of answering "Does $ cover X?" Thankfully there's ways to say it without equating sex for money as mentioned above.

This is the same reason why it becomes a problem (or even insulting) when a client tries to haggle your rate down based on what they want to do. Like “hi my hourly rate is $250” “oh but I just want to perform oral on you and you don’t have to do anything to me, can’t we make that $100?”...No, because my rate is for my time. And for legal reasons that does need to be made clear.

My version would be:

Basically you can say you want to hire them as a companion and for a price. And you can state what you like. And you can ask if he feels you two are compatible.

I'm not an escort, but I watch a fair amount of camming. It takes time to build a following of people who tune in when you cam. I probably would never ever top without explicitly mentioning that I top and since I'm actually versatile always bottoming all the time is not my thing-- much like never bottoming isn't, either.
 
However, the idea that it comes across as equivocal to some guys gives me some pause about listing myself as a versatile top.

I advertise as Vers Top cause I find if I put Vers then Bottom clients will assume I'm lying and really just a bttm. Which is false. Most clients that hire are bottoms. So it would be bad for business for me to let them assume that. In general there are just more gay bottoms and that translates into client world. So for me it means I'm a really good Top...so hire me bottoms...but if you are a Top...and want me to bttm...then yes...YES I do go that way as well!!! That being said markets are different. Like I've noticed Vegas has more Top Clients than Los Angeles or Orange County does. So when I go to Vegas I switch it to Vers...and leave a happy happy Guy! lol So yes I get your reaction but understand for us if we put Vers...then bottoms will never hire us and bottoms are most of our client base...well at least for me... So I'd be broke if I put that.

A client deserves to have the great experience he or she desires. IF the client feels something might prevent realization of that great experience, he/she should not hesitate to make mention of it, no matter what it is (race, weight, height, pimples on butt, missing a limb, etc...), If the scort's reply is not satisfactory, then keep looking.
