They will. I am pretty sure. When Meta, Google eventually start going the route Yahoo did, and as they start scratching bottom of the barrel for new channels for revenue, and as politics of the land takes a hard right, the search phrases you enter into Google, Insta, Facebook, the sites you visited, the messages you sent, the Venmo/CashApp payments you made will all come back to haunt you. I bet Google already has an AI tool to tell who you are and what you will do next.

Yes, so far I have been doing $500 - $1k a month on providers . Still have my job, and have well above median US savings in retirement accounts ( IRAs and 401K).

I couldn't agree with you more, we're not that important to be concerned about this now!
This thread is directed at whether one day Alexa, Zuckerberg, AI, and others, will turn against us.
We know everything we post on X could be trace back to us and get us "cancelled" yet some get surprised about it.
Employees of the NSA occasionally check the messages of their dates. The technology exists already, and there are things we don't even know, the question is when someone will find out the hobby that brought us here, expose us and harm us.
Did you watch the movie "Snowden", they can simply find out your weakness and turn you into a pawn without you even knowing.

truth be told I would have been happy to be one of his harem. R kelly too. I’m a freak like that lol.
A girlfriend ran the tides hotel on south beach and they used to stay there and decades ago she called me gagging because they weren’t even that discreet about it. He would always have girls there to set it off but in the end it was always just the fellas. And they kept ordering more champagne and more condoms.
In some ways it’s the same as with Afrika Bambaata. When you’re still very young and have same sex attractions coupled with internalized homophobia, and then you’re in a position of power, you can end up basically being a predator without even realizing it’s happening. This is not to excuse sexual assault or inappropriate behavior in general, but some of these “victims” were not damaged or harmed but rather were given the opportunity to do what they always wanted to do but never felt safe enough to do it. So some are victims and some are volunteers.

Life is full of choices - sometimes you make bad ones or feel like you don’t have any other option but to go along with whatever is happening. Especially when you come from nothing and have no one else who makes you feel seen or offers you opportunities to be someone and have something.
The karma follows the intent. That said, malignant narcissistic sociopaths tend to be the ones who rise to positions of power. Hence the fall of the house of Usher. Pun obviously intended.

I dont quite understand Coolwave's rape allegation. Oral play and anal play are both common acts in gay sex. So if during the same play session, the masseur performed one sexual act, it's ok, but if he performed another sexual act for which no explicit 'no' was said, it's rape?  Very confusing.
Does this mean during consensual sex one has to get separate consent for every act?

Thank you all for the guidance. As a left-brained person, I am not particularly money-savvy, but know enough to get by. I have been able to maintain a diverse portfolio of investments mostly in ETFs. I also use robot investors like Wealthfront , Betterment etc since I do not know how to pick stocks myself.
In my early 50s I am feeling pretty lost in life as I don't know where I am headed next, what kind of support system I will have as I become old and frail etc. Friends from 20s and 30s left me due to political differences that peaked during COVID.  Lost my father last year, and Mom is in her last years.

By the way, this part of depending on someone scares me the most. Today, hygiene with respect to this bodily function is super important to me. I can't even properly evacuate myself if i hear people outside a toilet. I find it very difficult to share a bathroom with someone. That's probably why i have never been able to have a relationship. I always wonder how boyfriends remain attractive to each other despite sharing a bathroom and potentially hear the other person 'go' in small hotel rooms.
A guy's ass and the hole are such sensual things for me and i consider it unfortunate that its other function is to handle the most disagreeable odor and substance to come out of a human body. I think the wires in my brain that are able to handle the co-existence of the two contradictory functions haven't crossed well.
I pray to god to take me before i have to get my ass wiped by a hot str8 guy.
PS: I realize this post will come across very shallow to folks who have found their soulmates. Love, affection transcends any bodily function. So i apologize in advance, but this is the only forum where I can speak my mind about these things.

My father passed away at 86 last month. He got the Delta variant in April 2021, survived the infection. But it impacted his heart . In early Jan he got Omicron, survived that too. But by the end of Jan his heart gave away. My mom is still alive at 86 and survived two Covid infections.
All my life I had dreaded the moment when my parents would start passing away. But when my father passed, after the initial bout of sadness, I was alright. Having seen so much death and turmoil over the last two years, I am glad he passed away without suffering too much.
My hope was he would live for another 2-3 years, the climate of fear and anxiety would pass, and he would pass under happier circumstances. But now I am glad he did last month. With talks of world war III and the nuclear threat, I was wrong about happier days returning soon.

+ jessmapex reacted to + DrownedBoy in Rates on the Rise??
I've seen a rise and fall where I live (Chicago/Midwest) between 2019 and now. The baseline then was 300 standard, a little less for newbies.
After and during the late pandemic period, escorts were asking a lot. Established ones tried for 350 and 400, and even newbies with no reviews wanted 300 (and sometimes more!).
Since late 2022, the standard seems to have returned to 300, with new escorts charging less. I found a really good new regular that way.
I can only speak from observation and casual conversation (which is no doubt guarded for financial reasons), but it appears - in my area at least - a lot fewer people are hiring, but a lot more escorts are on RM. And many escorts - even established ones - have become a _lot_ more grateful to find regular clients to provide steady income.
In my social circle (mainly Chicagoland technical and financial professionals), the current economy has meant layoffs (several friends from different companies just lost 10% of their coworkers), wage and hiring freezes, reduced benefits, and longer hours, not to mention indefinite delays for many projects and planned improvements. I've been hit by all those things, and it hasn't been fun.
Clients have less money and financial stability right now. You don't need a PhD in economics to understand what that means.

I get that inflation affects everyone.  I can tell you that I didn't get a 25-33% raise recently, though, so trying to rationalize an increase from $300 to $400 per hour or $400 to $500 per hour doesn't make sense.  That being said, this is a market where providers can charge whatever they want and clients can decide to hire or not.  Sadly, my recent salary increases haven't even kept pace with inflation.

I have zero debts. I use credit cards to accumulate miles or cash back. Autopay pays off full balance every month.
My credit score went down because i had no loans. So when i purchased my last car, I financed half of it despite having the cash. Paid it off just to demonstrate to the credit agencies i am able take on a loan and pay it back. That added 5-10 points to my credit score.
