  4. Finished my Sunday Netflix binge watch with another documentary. Life in the Dog House came up under the LGBTQ search. The movie is about a dog rescue in South Carolina run by long time companions, Ron and Danny. A worthy film especially if you are a dog person. Glad I watched this one.
  5. Andy Whitfield was so good in the Spartacus role back during S1. I wasn't aware a documentary movie tracked the courageous journey Andy and his family faced during his illness, Be Here Now, the Andy Whitfield Story A friend recommended it. I'm glad I saw it, streamed on Netflix. I recommend, especially to anyone that has lost a close one to lymphoma, as I did, or to any similar challenge.
  6. Watched today on Netflix. I'd seen it at Outfest but forgotten some of it. Glad I watched it again. Tovey is a great actor.
  7. Was a treat to view two exhibits at the Long Beach Museum of Art today. First, Patrick Angus. I expect the exhibit is especially poignant for those who were young gay men during the 70s and 80s, especially those that lived in or visited New York, and may have visited a place called Gaiety. One section of the exhibit is set off on its own due to the erotic nature. I thought several of these were stunning. Born in LA. Moved to NYC. His life was cut short at 38, so one might wonder how much more there would have been. I'd heard of Bob Mizer, of course. The exhibit gave a chance to understand a bit more of the man and his genre of hunky young men. There is an interesting type written letter he sent to a reader from Canada. A few garments worn by the models are displayed as well as a good sampling of his photographs. $10 Adults $8 Students (with I.D.) and Seniors 62+ Free admission after 3 p.m. on Thursdays and half price admission all day Friday.
  8. Bump this one. Anyone try StevieRay. So cute, right?

  10. I am imagining Peggy Lee in Central Park. Must have been a special experience.
  11. My dad had a triple album Woodstock LP. My older brothers used to get stoned and listen to it. The groups I remember most from that album were Jefferson Airplane, Santana, and Janus Joplin.
  12. Yes, the fee schedule was interesting. Sliding scale?
  13. Has anyone tried Virgil in San Diego. I like his pics. That smile. That lean body. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/38459/
  14. Outcall only.
  15. Just watched Season 3 of Dear White People on Netflix. I will continue watching. I've always loved the Lionel character and continue to do so. The scene with the doctor was awesome. Lionel's attempt at being clever: "Ho-ston." Love him so much.
  16. Oh FiddleDeeDee!! My Atlanta coworker Billy (who was so sweet to this Yankee and would always turn my head) might refer to soda pop however he wanted. I only loved seeing him smile and listening to whatever he said with that Georgia accent. Oops I guess that belongs in another thread. So another saying I learned down around Atlanta was to cut up. To cut up might be found elsewhere, but I'd never heard it before arriving in Norcross. Referred to stirring up a bit of fun, perhaps some harmless good natured mischief.
  17. When I lived in Atlanta us midwesterners were schooled by coworkers that it was coke not pop (my inside voice was like "WTF, coke?" In some parts they'd even use "co-cola" But that was long ago.
