  1. I'm in PS and so far my massage appts have been a bust, for all the typical reasons. Not giving up though. Hope your visit is productive, @Yellowrod
  2. Polar vortex. Most TV news reporters couldn't explain the physics of what it is if their life depended on it. Yet they are required by their corporate masters to warn us about the effing polar vortex. We'll tune in. Sorry, need to sign off. The weather dude just warned about the haboob coming.
  3. The filming locations were impressive, worthy of the big screen. Filming locations Theme song by Burt Bacharach and Hal David..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hziG9Nr6KHU
  4. A friend had tickets to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Saturday afternoon at The Wiltern in Koreatown. Lot of history surrounding that movie and the venue. The cast was great, especially Paul Newman. Well done movie. I enjoyed it. The film historian that spoke before the screening explained that Ang Le having Jack and Ennis leap off a cliff into the river was an homage to the cliff dive by Butch and Sundance, an original bromance movie before there was such an idea. https://images.app.goo.gl/K8LzfJJDVhwyXgks9 Four years later Redford and Newman teamed again in The Sting, Best Picture winner.
  5. I get the sense that there is a side to Nathan that is smitten with Ed. Otherwise why not leave Ed be. Ed seems quite ambiguous about a lot of what's going on but maybe he is just one not to show his cards.
  6. What is the deal with the energy between Ed and Nathan? An internet theory is Ed will end up killing Nathan. Doubt it. Starting to wonder if their arc is headed towards a night of passion. Otherwise what is the point to their squabbles, if not for Ed to submit to a hard fuck by his persistant antagonist? Adam Scott as Ed
  7. Anyone try StevieRay? Nice smile.
  8. Could you PM me about Lucas' techniques? Do you still recommend him? Seems super cute.
  9. Anyone watching Euphoria on HBO? Some dark stuff. I do like the easy homo affection between the two high school girls. And epi 2 had multiple shots of peen in the locker room scene. That was a gift even HBO rarely offers. But I wonder where this show is going. Not sure how much more of society-behaving-badly TV audiences will want to sit through.
  10. Perry's mom sure sheds light on how Perry turned out.
  11. I agree. Nice guy. I will repeat.
  12. I love Pet Sounds. I'd read John Lennon drew inspiration for Sgt Peppers from visiting / listening to the Beach Boys.
  13. I finally got around to watching the disc extras. Those two are so nice looking.
  14. Good rate. Convenient for me. Will try to book him.
  15. Enjoyed Streep S3 Epi1. Pretty clever. Threw in a touch of Sufjan Steven's during one segue. Love this show. Less Spookys was a perfect lead in show. I'd watch more of that.
  16. Yu-huh!! He has a true winning smile that he didn't share 'till victory. I could look at that all day. ?
  17. I attend the symphony with a straight bud! Plays too. And dinner. So I get a good dose of "no gay scene."
  18. NSFW example of is work This short film I found to be very poignant after recently reading Edmund White's Trilogy. Here is an intimate look at the author in Mugatin's piece. I ran across the artist in an issue of Out Magazine. I recommend checking his Website. Lots there.
  19. Always wanted to try Cuba. This is a worthy upload. Queer visibility in Cuba. Sadly, this year the government canceled the Pride parade.
  20. Is the acid peel done at home?
  21. An epic WWI war story. A brash, noble Aussie officer. Steady observant Brit, Private David Pearson, 12th London Rangers, and his mate Private Tommy Flowers of Iowa, both 18 year old soldiers in the thick of The Great War. Glad I read Flower of Iowa. Prompted me to read more about this war, to think about man's inhumanity to man and the worldview that lead young men to charge into battle.
  22. I've texted him now and then whether he plans to visit out west. No luck yet. He's in Boston until tomorrow then headed to Chicago. Anyone try Lucas lately? Pretty man.
  23. How awesome! I would love to have been there. She was great in that movie. Chad Everett was good too. Had a good scene with Naomi Watts. Love the trailer.
