Please, they can’t even get a simple vote on "how to measure penis length correctly"
or "what exactly do the terms top, bottom, and verse mean?" You think they’re
ever gonna get around to defining such vague things as "sensual" versus "erotic"?
You’re dreaming.

Just ask.
I charge by the inch. If you pay for 7 inches then you get the 8th inch free.

And by "W administration"…he means the "Woodrow Wilson administration".

There's a sure-fie way to find out what a provider will and will not do during a therapeutic vs sensual vs erotic massage.

Been discussed here in the forum since the early days of the W administration.
Still no consensus, evidently.

I agree with LodoB on all points.
There is no absolute line on any of this...but to say that if you expect S E X from a masseur, for the price of a massage you're going to be sadly disappointed.

I've had similar things occur with massage therapists and with a couple of fitness trainers. Very simple and clear answers when I asked "why?" Reasons have ranged from new relationship to tired of the business to focusing on a certain niche of clientele. I'm a freelance writer-editor and I've done the same thing with some of my clients. Businesses change course.

I had a Masseur that I was seeing regularly for years. He was a straight guy that would tease me each time showing/doing a little more each session...but we both ultimately knew it wasn't going to go "all the way there". He was catering to bi/gay cliientel and making money off of his good looks. I tipped him well and we had a good rapport. Sometimes he would even give me little gifts at the end of the session (he was also a nutritionist). We would sometime just chat via text and email.
Then one day he just ghosted his massage clients (I talked to a couple others). He has/had a constant social media presence so I know that he was still around and doing business. It seems that he just shut down the "sensual" part of his "business empire". He then resurfaced and had opened his own Crossfit/Personal training type gym. Seems that massage was just a stepping stone to greater things (much like a stripper working her way through medical school). He's moved on. I had to get over it. You do too.

It is really tough when this happens - as time goes by, the line between “professional” and “friend” tends to blur. No one’s fault - it is just the way things are. The world turns and people move on to new careers and interests.
If you could keep him around as a friend - would you? If no - wish him the best and move on. If yes - wish him the best but ask him to let you know how things go. If he is open to the idea, go the friends route. “If you are in my neighborhood, let me know and we can meet for lunch”…

It has happened to most of us.....I know it's hard not to take personally given the very nature of the "work". I agree with @sixpact....to him this is "just business" and sometimes it's hard to remember that especially if we have a connection with the therapist. My experience is that the best way to get over it is to jump back on a different horse. Something similar happened to me just a few weeks ago and it stung for a few days, but you do move on and get over it. There could be lots of contributing factors that went into his decision.....new relationship, wanting to make a change in his life, he was getting too attached or thought you were, another job, etc......the fact is most times we will never know.

I have. It’s almost like a trusted doctor or dentist that retires, leaving you feeling vulnerable because of the personal nature of your sessions.
The business he runs cannot post a “closed” sign on a door, so all the clients who approach him will likely be be told individually, making the news seem more personal than he intended.
There’s a dozen different reasons he may be turning even long-time clients away. A good find for massage is rare, so your frustration is just. Try a local spa if needing immediate bodywork, and keep your eye on new ads that might catch your eye…

Also odd that his first private pic is a selfie with himself clothed with a client butt nekkid laying face down on his table behind him

Weird that he advertises in rentmasseur. Called as well and the tone was like I won’t even get nude it is “therapeutic” only.

Saw him today. Scheduling was, as others have mentioned, frustrating, and the experience was subpar. Wouldn't repeat or recommend.

Feedback makes sense. Have never seen him but reached out to him perhaps 3-4 times when his "Available Now" indicator was on. The usual response was something like: "I have time this weekend", or "How about next Thursday?".
For the record, the word 'now' has a very specific meaning in the English language: "At the present time or moment" is the precise definition.
The 'available now' indicator is a useful tool for both masseurs and clients - but only when it is used properly.

I hope that some "extras" are included in the base rate of $175 per hour; otherwise that's an expensive therapeutic only massage.
