  1. To get back to the OP, and I’m not sure if I even responded, but I’m not going back 10 pages to see.

I’m in between on this issue. I am a top yet rarely do anal anyway. If I’m hiring a “straight” guy, to me that means the only interaction we’ll have is me blowing him. Rarely does that interest me unless there’s another niche involved, such as muscle worship or a different kind of fetish. Though admittedly I’m ok with that with certain providers.

On the other hand, if I hire a bi or gay provider, I can and do expect more interaction.

Sadly, many in the LGBTQ+ collective are now replicating the discriminatory mechanisms they once suffered.

I disagree completely. Those first three letters have to do with women being attracted to women, men being attracted to men, and both being attracted to either sex. That has nothing to do with transgender. “Feeling” like you’re a woman or a man has nothing to do with sex or to whom a person is attracted. Why should they be under that umbrella? Because they’re different?

That's the whole premise of being transgender: there is a lack of congruency between their body and their mind.

So they should be included in our “community” because…? We take everyone? The rights they’re fighting for and want have nothing to do with us, yet they’re using our numbers and umbrella to attempt to gain them. To me, it’s no different than if they said catholic priests have vast numbers. Let’s use their clout for our cause. One has nothing to do with the other.

Transgenders still have the highest suicide rates in our LGBTQ+ community.

Why are they in “our community”?

  3. Long story, @bigzzz79

Ive seen him a few times in the past. He’s 6’4” jock built body and very masc. and always advertised that way. Was a total and complete top (but I’m not a bottom so it was only oral).
Then he “went away for a while” and when he came out, he was advertising on Grindr as a bottom, bottom slut, fem, etc. That surprised me.
I recently saw the ad you linked and now he’s advertising as fem, yet a top. Odd because he was never “fem” at all.
He’s a little flaky (we made tentative arrangements twice only for him to ghost me) but he can be overall fun. I last saw him pre-pandemic.
Lots of other info if you want in a DM because I can’t share it here.

  4. I’m with @azdr0710  The only time I don’t like those lists is when literally every option is there. Makes me think the provider just said “the hell with it. Just select all” without giving it much thought. Then you contact that provider and he’s not into this and that and this and the other thing.

  5. @Scott Virginian jhon has a couple of threads on here. It’s a mixed bag apparently. Just search for that unusual spelling of jhon and you’ll see.

jayrae is on my list, but I spoke with him via an app or something (I can’t remember) and I know his rates are (to me) exceptionally high. I think he quoted me $500/hr. He’s still on my short list tho, but that’s mainly because there’s a dearth of good ones on Long Island.

  6. Put me in the “table required” column. I despise getting a massage on a bed and have never been comfortable on the rare occasion that happened. Now, if the provider doesn’t have a table, it’s a no-go.

A bed is less comfortable but on the plus side makes MT easier

I don’t agree with this. In fact, I find a table MUCH easier for MT. Think of it this way, if the masseur is using a table, it’s usually waist high to him, right where my hands are. If I’m on a bed, they usually are kneeling or straddling which would mean I would have to reach up to “find what I’m looking for” lol. It’s also not as ‘organic’ or comfortable if I’m reaching up. JMHO.

I don’t typically mind unsolicited messages from providers who’ve seen that I checked out their ad.

Me neither. In fact, I like it. It shows they’re actively looking and are seeing who saw them, which means (to me) they’re not going to NS.

I certainly don't blame providers for 'following up', though, when they see their profile has been viewed. It's business!!

    Agree completely.

  8. I’m not too concerned about actual age either as long as what others have said, they look reasonably like that age.
I’ve seen some really hard-looking 45 year olds where you say “damn!” and some 55 year olds where you say “really?! He’s 55?! No way!”
As long as they look like what I’m looking for, it doesn’t matter to me.
However, there’s one guy who advertises by me who has been 39 for at LEAST the last 15 years. I won’t even look at that profile because that’s ridiculous.
