That's an age-specific tactic. It would have reverse effect for many of us.

I'm going to try the same-day by appointment in DC, I've done it before where I could show a travel ticket date. But from what I've read online because of the applicant surge from the lockdown and not all agents working, they may be limiting that to emergency family situations. I may go the pro route.

Many of us were lulled by the lockdown into thinking we had plenty of time anyway. Today I was finalizing a get-out-of-lockdown trip to Europe when United splashed some nasty red exclamation marks on my passport page. My passport expires in late January and many countries require that your US passport be valid for 6 months after you commence travel. Fortunately most European countries have a sort-of 3-month rule....maybe. (Evidently the UK has no rule; it just must be good for the proposed trip dates.) Spain's at US.gov but evidently Czech tries to enforce 6 months and Nederlands requires 6 months? PASSPORT VALIDITY:A passport must be valid for at least six months beyond planned date of departure from the Schengen area. (Even though the US has a treaty with the Schengen zone for a 3-month validity?) So...If you have less than 6 months left on your passport it can get complicated even if an airline will ticket you. Also Spain has an app you must use to get a vaccinated code. Expedited renewal passports with the extra fee usually take 4 weeks. Currently they are taking 10 weeks. And you have to surrender your passport while you wait the 10 weeks. And don't forget you must still have a negative test within 72 hours of flying to get back in the US. On good news although I heard some countries are wanting insurance proof now, i found Kaiser and many Medicare Advantage programs include foreign coverage and have that online. Also AARP has low rates.

I have escort friends visit so i 100% understand all the nuisance fake-address outcalls, numerous no-show/no-calls for set appointments as another prank, etc. and think anonymous deposits are fine. Except there are a lot of scammer fake listings and some of these guys could make a killing off of hot photos and a deposit requirement. They don't pay RentMen $100 for a listing as a joke and it takes a few bad experiences for RentMen to drop an ad. And then there's all the 2nd-tier listing sites. Traditionally we have the "3-finger photo" rule that helps.

Sorry....somehow my zoom function had gone to 150%. I put it back to 100% and I'm fine again in Chrome. This is 2 or 3 times lately my zoom has gone up on M4M by itself, never any other site. -
I remember when Florida tried to stop people arriving by air from New York (which made a lot of sense at the time) but when they started stopping cars on I-95 looking for New Yorkers it was over in one weekend. I could just imagine if DC/Virginia/Maryland closed borders for a year lol; they're more the size of European countries like Slovakia, Czech and Austria than NSW and WA. Many people in Europe had all but forgotten those border controls were ever there.

I've never understood the closing the barn door after the virus is in approach at all but unfortunately it seems vaccination doesn't matter, the latest numbers in one's home country do and they go up and down like a roller coaster. If they keep this up those red and green lights are going to be constantly blinking and the US will undoubtedly have some minor surges causing travel stoppage. Covid has been a disaster for the EU with all the delayed vaccines and lockdowns. Can you imagine if every US state had closed it's borders to other states for a year? The other EU states are getting sick of the Germans' tedious lead on everything, especially covid. (these are the "new Germans" who took 10 years to build an airport instead of 1). They pretty much told them f-u we're opening to UK and US travel in June while Germany wanted the EU to stay closed indefinitely. Germany reluctantly opened to the US June 20, two weeks later. There's no "EU" policy because Germany wants a off/on policy; they just closed to EU Portugal again yesterday and never opened to the UK. Now they're thinking of shutting the US out again. https://www.thelocal.de/20210628/is-germany-set-to-tighten-testing-and-quarantine-travel-rules/

even with traditional format i'm only getting a smartphone type zoomed format on pc now with no sidebars, new stuff at bottom, etc. -
There are people with kids or frail parents they care for in remote rural areas far from any CVS even all over America who are practically trapped at home. In DC east of the river there are women with multiple small kids. And many illegal aliens cannot afford taking a day off cash wages nor trust the government. I can understand a 25 year old in any of these situations just not wanting to try.
-
Some people have to work for a living or have kids. But the rate of Black vaccinations is super low and in DC we're giving $51 giftcards to people from Black neighborhoods to get vaccinated and $51 cards to people getting them to be vaccinated. https://www.npr.org/local/305/2021/06/29/1011278228/d-c-is-handing-out-gift-cards-to-vaccine-buddies-east-of-the-river Also, just imagine on top of all else being an illegal immigrant having to show identification even if it's "supposed" to be confidential. That has to be scary.

I saw something yesterday on an frequent flyer site i can't find now relating to green lighting but Sajid Lavid seems firm all restrictions come off July 19. There was criticism the UK didn't add the US a couple weeks ago and many were pressuring for a July 5 date. Anyone's guess when the US will reciprocate and the UK will no longer be lumped into an ESTA pool with the EU so the UK may take longer given it's higher rates. We US citizens still have to have a negative test to return home from the EU or UK. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/28/sajid-javid-covid-restrictions-in-england-must-end-on-19-july https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/coronavirus-restrictions-july19-sajid-javid_uk_60d9b8ffe4b0996083ae1890 Just as concerning though is that Angela Merkel, with Macron's support is trying to ban even vaccinated Brits from the EU because of the Delta variant spreading there so fast. The rest of the EU thinks they should each have their own policies which is hard with open borders except for air travel. (link to Mail because it's not paywalled). Angela Merkel launches bid to ban all British travellers from EU Germany's being pretty tough and it doesn't look good if the US suffers a Delta Variant wave nor does it help the US allowing Brits in.

Actually that's little problem. Most people know people who posted on Facebook or can find one googling "CDC card" clicking "images" and looking through the addresses. Lol, here's one from a news story headline today showing vaccinations at the Kenilworth Recreation Center in DC: but..... Good New for DC, Maryland and possibly Virginia residents: DC and Maryland now have online official records of vaccinations you can access totally online with an official document showing your vaccines. Virginia seems different but there's a link in the story below. I was able to pull mine up in 5 minutes and get registered with the official site for the first time yesterday. However, most comments in the story are people who's records did not appear so YMMV. This is great because before today I've had to depend on Safeway for records and I noticed United has dropped their private company they were using for certification. This MyIR may be available in other states. Now I have an official government website with an official government document I can show if need be in Europe. Story DC Website for Covid records

otherwise this guy even looks similar:

The new health minister for the UK government said the US will be on the "green" list July 19. Virgin Atlantic is also resuming DC-UK flights August 1.
-
To put it in perspective:
-
I suspect he's fishing and pushing his OnlyFans both. but also leery of immigration. He may be planning that the US will open to the EU by mid-August. Right now you cannot have been in the EU in the past 14 days; why people go to Cancun for 14 days and then enter if they really want to visit. And he shouldn't talk about working in the US, especially beforehand. If CBP gets a clue they will deny his entry as every agent can do. Especially for sex work. That also may be why he's formally saying he only escorts in Berlin. If you believe that there's this bridge going cheap....
-
that just matches your id to the name you put on the copied blank CDC card. i know only the group that gave you the shot has records including your name because i got a duplicate and only Albertson's/Safeway had my records. there's often no master list that has names. i wish there were. Illinois has one.
-
yes, but thanks to everyone posting their vaccine cards on Facebook and Instagram to celebrate getting the vaccine (including myself) there are plenty of batch #'s with dates online. i googled CDC card and got a thousand under "images" including blanks to print out. we should have made a national or state list like drivers' licenses. and what sadist at CDC thought up 4x3 that doesn't fit in wallets?
-
I said only 1 in 10 i know, Many of the ones i know are in Czech. In Europe under 30's can't get the shot yet. But only 1 /4 of the ones i know well here are either. It's flu-shot % with them. I hate to break it to you that many porn stars and escorts are not the most responsible people all the time. Now if they offered a line of coke with each shot.......
-
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only 47.3% of Americans between 18 and 24 have received at least one vaccine dose and 31.9% are fully vaccinated, LINK I wouldn't count on even that 31%. It's a whole different outlook in the young. They're less than half as likely to be vaccinated than older segments.
-
1. My guess is most providers who say they are vaccinated are not. Of the ones i know closely 1 out of 10 really is. That CDC card can be printed out or faked online easily (and they were selling for $5). 2, There is no easy way to find out how much immunity you personally really have from the shots. The antigen test is notoriously wrong and a good cheap immunity test is just coming out soon (hopefully). Most have enough immunity from shots to avoid a deadly case but some do not. Odds are better than Russian Roulette with a 6-chamber gun but not in my comfort zone. I'll be a little careful still. Especially with strangers.

I took my European guests to Clearwater 3 times during the pandemic (Miami and FTL were closed). Since they left in November and since lockdown has eased in March I've been to FTL twice to go to Johnsons. South Florida is just sort of a commute from DC it's such a short cheap flight---cheaper than going to Rehoboth. I wanted to take the new United nonstop from Newark to Dubrovnik and see both Spit and Montenegro. Then I saw vaccination there is below 5%.
-
what i mean is locked down to foreigners. there's not many countries on the "green" list, certainly not the US or most of Europe. i may hop over to Europe but I'm leary of connecting in London because I don't know if one can even transit Heathrow terminals unless there's a shortcut connector inside passport control. and airlines are hesitant about ticketing even if it's a firm connecting ticket. hopefully the US will be "green" on July 19, but there's no way to know.
-
But US citizens must have a test within 72 hours before flying to re-enter the US.
