Of course. Referrals are great if you have a colleague you trust and who fits the same aesthetic you do or if you are well versed on the aesthetic your client is seeking. When living in New York I would refer clients (new and seasoned) to a colleague when I was out of town and unable to accommodate them, and he would do the same for me. “May I make a few recommendations..” also builds trust with new potential clients as you have their best interest in mind when referring solid candidates.
