hypothetically got a reaction from + Eric Hassan in Real identies....
However you want to spin it, the person you hire someone to be and the person they are outside the confines of your arrangement do not correlate. It may seem "silly," but it really is necessary for some escorts to mentally check in and out by using something as simple as a fake name. Blurring the lines of professional and personal in this industry isn't healthy for everyone.

Thats not what I said but if that was your takeaway....you’re simple minded. Congratulations.

Depends on comfort/trust level between the escort and client, and if it’s mutual.

Whatever the reason, just read this thread title aloud and it sounds suspicious, low budget, and not very sexy. No, no, and no.

Define “safe.” It’s not the Middle East we’re talking about here.

At the rate gay men are getting their assholes bleached, I knew this wasn’t true from the jump.

hypothetically got a reaction from FewBricksShy in Instagram Models
Instagram “models” and “fitness professionals” are going to be more inclined to get you to subscribe to their OnlyFans or have you fork up cash for “customized content” rather than meet you for a session. Instagram really isn’t the platform for that, nor is it welcomed, usually. These influencers with huge followings rack up a cute coin doing the bare minimum, alone, at home. One can’t be bothered with a one-on-one unless they really need it.

Amazes me that porn blogs like to gossip about porn actors’ shortcomings, stints with the law and untimely deaths yet there’s still no dialogue happening about gay men’s mental health.

“Dead Gay Porn Stars Memorial,” sounds so, idk...awful. The creator couldn’t soften that title a bit, geez.

His age is in his profile. lol.
You spend money on escorts. Some consider that excessive. Are you charitable? Do you help others?
..Will we ever know? Should we care?
No. You can apply this sentiment to your feelings about JS.

hypothetically got a reaction from + Reisr30 in Have you ever had a crush on your doctor or surgeon?
I want my dermatologist in NYC so bad, and he knows it. He flirts back, as straight men who are secure in their masculinity do, not because it’s mutual (eyeroll).
My dermatologist in Paris could get it too, lol. I just stare at his mouth when he’s talking. His french accent sounds like a purr. Lol.

hypothetically got a reaction from Kevin Slater in PayPal Blocks Rentmen
Of course. I was on the phone for an hour and went a little something like:
Rentmen: your bank blocked it
PayPal: your merchant blocked it
Rentmen: no, your blank blocked it
PayPal: no, your merchant blocked it
..until PayPal decided they didn’t want to read a script anymore.

It was only a matter of time. I bet PayPal dealt with a ton of attempted chargebacks.
Added, PP has never been (and never will be) adult-industry friendly.

Thanks for the notice. Wish I read this before spending a while trying to figure it out.
Venmo and CashApp debit cards have never worked on Rentmen, likely due to it being non-US rather that it being nefarious.
Of course, Rentmen simply sent me a note saying my payment was rejected, not saying something useful like PayPal has blocked them. Typical of their customer service.

For any users who use PayPal MasterCard or PayPal Cash Card as a discreet way to control payments between you and RM Media, good for you to know that the company has blocked RentMen as a merchant for “fraudulent activity.”

This whole thread feels wealth-shamey and a little ironic considering the nature of this board.
His money- His spending- His home. Good for him for finding a niche and making it work (very, very well obviously).
Are there reliable source links on him being greedy and some terrible person?

@bigjoey You’re 50, there is no reason why anything that JS represents would even appeal to you, because it is not for you..
Starr does not appeal to me either, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say “it is the end of times” because a self starter was able to make a name for himself. I do not like JS, but I respect the hustle.

hypothetically got a reaction from BaronArtz in Referrals
Of course. Referrals are great if you have a colleague you trust and who fits the same aesthetic you do or if you are well versed on the aesthetic your client is seeking. When living in New York I would refer clients (new and seasoned) to a colleague when I was out of town and unable to accommodate them, and he would do the same for me. “May I make a few recommendations..” also builds trust with new potential clients as you have their best interest in mind when referring solid candidates. This has turned into longtime clients for me, even though I was unavailable at the time they reached out.
