Another 2 cents: You are their father. What example are you setting by waiting, waiting, for a moment that is "right" in some way, to tell them? And what example would you be setting by telling them soon after you know you have a gay side, and are comfortable with it? That said, nothing should happen until you are comfortable doing it. When is he meant to quit?

You're a nice guy, I guess. Sometimes I feel the same way, and it'd take a lot of convincing to get me to do anything but be an uncle to them. When is it planned he will quit for the summer? I want to check back here to see what he wore (or didn't wear) when he took his dip.

Do you have a pool? After he finishes his last day on the job, you can invite him for a swim. And if he says, "Oh, I don't have a swimsuit" and is smiling, you can smile back BIGTIME and say "Oh, you don't need one." THEN CUE THE BAD PORN MUSIC!

And a good start, should either of you care to take it "elsewhere" at some point. And that point should, ideally, be AFTER the boss-worker relationship is over FOR GOOD.
