I have seen guys numerous times over a long stretch, but the gaps are usually less than a year. Two of my favorites only see me and a few others. That said, I’ll be in Vancouver later this week and will be having lunch with a former regular with whom I spent countless weekends from 2015 to 2017. We follow each other on Strava.

I’m not a beer drinker, so I haven’t tried Athletic; however, there are a number of new drinks out there that are non-alcoholic yet taste great. I’m doing Dryuary and may extend it. I’m a long-time wine aficionado; but the time has come to make alcohol a rare occasion. I’m pretty obsessive about fitness and diet and am always amazed at how great I feel when not drinking wine. Also, the majority of early 20’s guys I see don’t drink alcohol. That’s a Zoomer trait.

That’s one thing that’s never happened with me, and I’ve been a hobbyist for a long time. I think it’s more common in cases where the provider is traveling and using their hotel room for business. I won’t meet a new provider in his hotel room.

I’d set up a charitable foundation. I have several causes in mind. But the two states where I live require full winner disclosure, which would be a nightmare. It would be great if the pot was claimed by an LLC, which a few states permit.

You’ll need to buy an array of gear for your providers, since most don’t own that stuff. I like leather, so I keep a supply of associated gear on hand. I often gift favorites with boots, harnesses, etc.
