Lawd! Now that's a look!

Normally, I only send a few cards that I hand pick from Hallmark to far away family members. But, this year I'm sending out about 25 from a box to friends/family I have not seen due to this damned pandemic. And, I also have a tree up this year, too... and loving it. I needed some sparkle and shine this holiday season and the tree is fun to look at while having a box or two of wine.

I showered in open shower rooms throughout middle and high school. We had football practice at 7 am in high school and everyone had to shower quickly to get to 2nd period on time. I even shared a shower head with friends when were running late! I never gave it a second thought.

We had a huge steamy room with shower heads on the walls along with three or four poles with nozzle heads in the middle of the room. In college, I was shocked by the modesty of some of the guys on my floor (early 80s, they got over it quicky) - also open shower rooms.

Simpler times for sure and faster shower times. I don't even know where there is an open shower room in Dallas. My gym (Lifetime Fitness) has stalls.

I have a cousin who lives in Carlsbad, NM. She just told me their Governor just closed a number of large grocery stores throughout the state including some Walmarts and Albertsons due to Covid issues for two weeks. I imagine with Thanksgiving just days away this will be a significant challenge. Covid is a nasty bitch!
