Financially: Maybe, my net worth has finally climbed back up to where it was four years ago. Relationships: No. It seems all my friends that I used to meet weekly to socialize at the gay bar are now accustomed to staying home. We all used to host monthly parties, but now just stay home. It is hard to even get my single friends to want to go out for dinner, as part of their new routine of self isolation and home delivery.

Did your dad ever talk to you about the “ birds and the bees”🐝 ?

... But now it depends on what the AI on his Google account thinks he wants to learn about sex. So it's still not perfect. -

Here are some great responses to a similar question asked a few years ago (including discussions from mothers): https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/91266-did-your-parents-give-you-the-talk-about-the-birds-and-bees/ -
That is a respectable penis size (statistically average for North American straight men) that I would be happy to play with when attached to a fit body. Just last week I enjoyed a man with a penis around 4 inches. His penis may not have been the longest, but his tongue and enthusiasm made up for it! 🥳

When people ask how tall I am, I always respond with 6'1" - 6'2". The few times my height has been measured by a medical provider, they measure 6'3" to 6'4". I think I always state my height a few inches shorter is to avoid appearing like I'm bragging or making it up, as my younger sibling often did to gloat that he was taller than me.

Creating a "non-binary" category in sports?

I read today that some people expect higher education to strive to reflect modern society as a whole. While others expect higher education to rise above modern society as a whole as an example of how to behave better. This may be the best explanation of the varied viewpoints on whether Harvard's leadership was appropriate because it strived to represent all of society, or weather it was inappropriate because it was not striving to be better.

The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to mike carey's topic in The Travel Desk
It's only thanks to you, @BenjaminNicholas, that I know the difference between the more formal "Tea" and the less formal "High Tea". As for traveling non-stop, my friend asked me recently if I flew "straight" from New York to Las Vegas. I told her no, they let me fly gay. 😆 -
The Ups and Downs of Airlines and Air Travel

That is a weird set of circumstance vs expectations indeed. One would expect a superlative experience to include something above the working class evening meal known as "High Tea". One would have expected the more upscale "Afternoon Tea" to be offered between midday meal and evening meal. -
Do snowy days negatively affect business?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
Rarely. I prefer to take a taxi when public transit is not available or convenient. It's a hassle to update the Uber software when I need a ride and months have passed since the last time I used it. I would rather pay more for the convenience and anonymity of a taxi when I'm in cities where they are available. -
It's tough. But when their money is gone, it's gone. You may even need to cut off communication with them to prevent them from continuously asking you for help. It's worth it is the end; and, better, for everyone, than feeling guilty and persuaded to give your own money to them to support their addictions.

battling for escort time with content creators

Agree 💯. I routinely travel for leisure, usually including a multiple-week trip across several countries. I realize how much of a pain it is (literally and figuratively) to catch an STI while away on holiday. Therefore, I do a few little things with my schedule that helps. 1. I avoid sex between the time of my doctor's visit (STI screenings) and the start of my extended travel. 2. I'm open to using condoms my first week of travel, if only to avoid catching an STI at the beginning of a vacation. 3. I have noticed that in many foreign countries, providers will have a higher cost for bareback to offset the financial risk of being out of commission and paying for treatment if they catch an STI. In that case, I am happy to take advantage of the discounted price at the beginning of my trip, and save my money for a blast (literally 😉) the last week of my vacation; by then I'm pretty much back to all bareback action. 🎉 4. When I return home from a trip abroad, I continue to avoid sex in my hometown for several weeks until I've completed another set of STI screenings with my doctor. After all, I don't want to be bringing those foreign diseases into my community, especially directly to the people I regularly sleep with. -

Do snowy days negatively affect business?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
I have spent the last week in Ft Lauderdale/Wilton Manors. It's cold, with highs not reaching 80F most days, and lows in the 60Fs. I have traveled to a few providers, but asked any provider living in downtown Miami to come to me. The reason is primarily to Miami's choice of parking meters downtown. There is no way to pay for them by cash or card. Everyone must download a parking meter computer application to their smart telephone in order to park downtown, which I am unwilling to do. -
When I retire, my house cleaner will be hired to clean in the nude. So extra warm temperature won't be a problem for him.

Sadly, most of my professors in liberal arts classes started to require these type of responses from me too as as time went on. I couldn't even say men/women, etc. Upon completion of my master's degree, I deleted and discarded my portfolio of work from my degree. My work contained too much language that I did not support, but felt required to include to appease the professors to get passing grades. On a lighter note, my co-worker and I were recently talking about a recent trip. She said "Oh, you flew straight to New York". I replied, "No, they let me fly gay". She paused to think about what I said and then laughed.

Are "heat days" the new "snow days"?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to marylander1940's topic in The Lounge
In Southern California and in Las Vegas, both places where high heat is common but rain is infrequent, we have had "rain days" when school was cancelled because of too much rain. Never a "heat day", though. -
In the late 1980s, 1 in every 200 U.S. employees worked for Sears. Now, 1 in every 50 U.S. employees works for Walmart or Amazon.

Are you from Jupiter Hollow? And more importantly, are you more of a Rose or a Sadie? (extra points if you know what I'm babbling about) I'm definitely a Sadie That's some Big Business you're talking there

I was at LeBoy last night and found the same thing. I only had one private lap dance. Compare that to Johnson's tonight. Johnson's changes $10 for all night access to private lap dance area. I partook in private dances with 4 dancers, at different times. But that's about what I normally expect for the ratio of men I find attractive at each establishment.

Do you also ask them if they have slept with any one, without a condom, after their last STI test? If not, knowing that status from weeks/months ago is useless and just a false sense of security.
-
Well, you found your comfort level. For many, it's monogamy. Relying on the "negative" tests others is bogus, unless you are sure they did not sleep with anyone between their test and their time with you. You were probably safer with your undetectable friend... At least you both knew he was on the pills.

Is going to college still worth it?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
Some individuals may thrive with smaller steps towards independence. Perhaps living at home during the first two years while attending community college. Then perhaps attending a university in a small college town in the South with comforting surroundings. Kudos to the students and families who are able to shop for colleges, and kudos to those who are aware there is more to choosing a university that is a good fit for the student other than the newness of the dormitories.
