  1. Tesla (TSLA) do you want it in your portfolio? In my portfolio: yes. In my garage: no.
  2. Property taxes in Texas are high. I have family members who own single family homes in the DFW area, and their property tax alone is more than the Florida insurance costs we're talking about here. Need to look at all expenses, AND quality of life.
  3. Avoid places with: Hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, torrential rain, hail, earthquakes, wild fires, and drought. Wait... That's every place! I live in Las Vegas, and while we have no hurricanes or blizzards, we also have no water. Grass lawns have become illegal, swimming pools are becoming prohibitively expensive, and even air conditioning is starting to be regulated so to the water lost from evaporative cooling. Homes are beginning to feel like prison cells, with no backyard grass or pool to enjoy and cool off in during the heat. And we still have earthquakes (2nd only to California in the number of earthquakes)
  4. U.S. Geography isn't typically taught until the 2nd grade. This is 1st grade level introduction to taxes. No math involved. It's just the concept that taxes are are something you pay, not something you get. Our friend @socurious should tell his friend that a tax "refund" only happens when a person pays too much taxes throughout the year via their paycheck withholdings (if working for a company) or through quarterly payments (if a self-emoloyed escort). It is also very possible that a person ends up owing taxes at the end of the year if his paycheck deductions or quarterly payments were too little, and maybe even charged a penalty if the amount owed is too great. It is the person's responsibility to make sure he is making adequate tax payments throughout the year to avoid the penalty.
  5. Some friends of mine in Wilton Manors (Ft Lauderdale) posted this today: "It's a very blustery, Winnie The Pooh kind of day. The bars are packed, everyone is a little giddy, half the town is off work. We're out of harms way down here, lots of folks in town from the west coast (of Florida) who evacuated to our fair shores. Plus, Floridians have been through this. A lot. It takes a bit to really shake them." Sounds like Wilton Manors is doing fine.
  6. Another advantage of honestly reporting your income: Qualifying for a mortgage or rent. Most applications will want to see your income tax return. If you report less than what you actually earned, you won't qualify for that home or apartment. But as @pubic_assistance wisely pointed out: your friend won't get any refund unless he's overpaid his estimated quarterly taxes throughout the year. Be sure your friend is paying estimated quarterly taxes, so he's not hit with a big penalty come tax filing time.
  7. That's why: 1. It's important for society for us all to be honest. 2. There is a high price to pay as a penalty for failure to report all cash income on your taxes, when caught. Your friend should keep a log of how much money earned each day, to help him with a future IRS audit or court case. His log should be truthful, and match what he reports as his income. It's no different than owning any store that accepts cash.
  8. Considering that lotteries are taxes on the poor (the poor spend the highest percentage of their income on lottery tickets), anything that would discourage the poor from buying a ticket, including raising the price, is a good thing. 😊
  9. I had a fantastic time with Naughtyman in Athens. Great guy, great communication, great escort services. Good massage as well. ROMEO | Gay, Bi and Trans Dating and Chat | Dates. Friends. Love WWW.ROMEO.COM ROMEO (PlanetRomeo) is the best dating & social network for gay, bi and trans people on Web, iOS & Android...
  10. "Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly..."
  11. This sounds like the plot to Hazel, Season 3 Episode 3: The Retiring Milkman
  12. Agree. It is the safest time to be a child in the history of the world. AND... These children all have cell phones! They'll never get lost or be away a from a 911 call for help. The world only SEAMS scary because parents are paranoid, and therefore never LET their children learn directions or how to go someplace without their supervision. These are the children that will grow up to be adults without life skills and unable to make a decision on their own; so, in that sense, it is a scary world for them. 🎃
  13. I had the pleasure of seeing this gentlemen in Athens: TheCompanion - Pornstar Performer, Rentboy, Gay Massage in Athens, Greece | RentMen RENTMEN.EU Pornstar Performer & Rentboy in Athens, Greece - TheCompanion: The best price on the world / Even better... He's reliable, looks good, has a great tool, is a good top, and has low published rates of 100 Euro per hour or 500 Euro overnight. Meeting him was easy to set up for the same night. While "safe only" is usually a no-go for me, I gave-in because condom use is much more common in Europe than in the U.S. in my experience. The experience was 100 Euros well spent. Plus, he's a local Greek boy. When I travel, I prefer to buy local.
  14. In what country are you looking?
  15. I went to Lake Steam Baths twice in 2018. It was an enjoyable day of sauna, baths, body scrub, and massage. There was no hankey pankey. Both times I opted for a budy scrub and massage. The body scrub is done out in the open where everyone can see. The massage is done in a private room. It's a very legit place. Don't go expecting any sexual play, from either the employees or fellow patrons. But do go expecting to enjoy a relaxing steam spa fully nude for the day. Times fill up fast for the body scrub, so call ahead if you can to reserve a time if that interests you (I highly recommend the body scrub).
  16. Today's younger generation uses a condom about as often as they use a capital letter to begin a sentence.
  17. I've seen Trunk or Treet events for about 15 years now, and I agree with you about the "good old days" of door to door neighborhood trick or treating being better. However, as a homeowner who used to hand out candy to trick or treaters, I couldn't help notice that with each subsequent year there were more and more adults and fewer children. It seems the entire extended family must accompany their child through the neighborhood. It makes sense: kids today don't know how to have fun in person in groups unless there is a screen involved. And no parent will let their child go trick or treating with a trusted family friend's children, because every parent needs to be watching their OWN child at all times nowadays. I've stopped leaving my porch light on for Halloween. It just saddens me to not see groups of children running door to door anymore; but, only see one child accompanied by 5 adults.
  18. 💯 Agree Just this week I couldn't ejaculate with a provider, but we kept playing and I kept telling him "that feels good, keep going" and he kept at it and it felt great, despite the fact that I couldn't orgasm with him at that hour. This happens to me often, but I don't give it much thought and the providers are always happy to see me again. Not just clients, but many older providers are in the same boat. It's not uncommon for me to play with an escort or massuer who is wearing a cock ring, or who tells me he uses an ED pill. Relax and enjoy. You're human, and the best of escorts know the most about the full human condition. Enjoy!
  19. I'm here in Sitges first week of October, which is just after high season has ended, and Boys Bar Sitges was completely closed on Wednesday and Thursday. So no Strippers, not even their bar was open mid-week.
  20. Yes, this pretty much sums it up. People either want to live alone or with others. I, personally, feel the same way.
  21. It sounds like you CAN imagine 😉
  22. There's lots of women on Grindr nowadays, so that's not really going to tell us much
  23. I don't think Ezra is ugly. It's bad form to call anyone ugly on this site. If he's not your cup of tea, you can keep that information to yourself. We all can look at his photographs and determine for ourselves. While Ezra and CharistmaticMex share some common features, many men find Latin men sexy.
  24. It's the "B" in GLBT... Right up there in the first 3 letters! I find it queer how it is now assumed that every 3rd grade class will have at least one "T" kid who needs to use its own restroom, but any male adult who is "B" is told he is lying to himself and needs to find a different letter. Strange 🤔 indeed To the original poster, whether your friend is gay or bisexual: the friend just wants to know he's not alone. Maybe a "good for you for coming to this understanding about yourself" and "have you made any new friends with similar interests?" encouragement is in order, so he's not relying on you for even more guidance but can get direction to meet and discuss with other similar men. After all, you're not really that close to each other.
