What were the Barcelona attractions that you saw that you recommend? I would like to do one attraction each day besides the Sauna/bars/beach.

Are you able to pay out of pocket for the vaccine? Sometimes vaccines or medicine can be made available to everyone, but insurance or the government will only pay to administer it to a subset of the popular most at risk. Also, look into clinics that target sex workers and their clients, and be frank and tell them you have sex with lots of different people and ask if that qualifies you for a higher risk group which can get the vaccine.

I wasn't aware that XXXL was either imperial standard or metric 😉

I did a search in RentMen for "XXXL". There are 33 men with XXXL in their profile name. 7 are in Paris, France 4 are in London, United Kingdom 4 are in New York, New York 2 are in Hong Kong Therefore, it looks like Paris is the best city for XXXL tops.

I can handle 7 inches maximum for oral play..10 inches maximum for rectal play. Anything larger than 11 inches is no longer considered a penis... It's a foot!

OP said in his question that he wanted to know what orientation would generate interest from the greatest number of clients. OP is having a tough time drumming up business with no kissing, no bottoming, and charging $350/hour. He wants to know if changing his advertised sexual orientation would attract more customers willing to pay the price for the company he offers. Consensus on the replies is that changing his advertised orientation to "straight" is likely not the solution.

That is good information for us in other countries to bear in mind: a single-payer system has its drawbacks. In this case, it's the lack of availability for personalized doctor consultation regarding safer sex and preventing the spread of disease.

Is the Hola Barcelona Card a good experience, or is it more hassle than it's worth? What museums/attractions are "must do" for a limited 5 day trip in Barcelona?

Looking for Palm Springs hotel/resort recommendations
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to hwic04's topic in The Travel Desk
In my experience, only CCBC (Cathedral City Boys Club) and All Worlds have a sleezy atmosphere, complete with outdoor cruising areas, glory holes , and the option for rooms with slings. Therefore, I won't book overnights at these places... It's just not relaxing to me. All the other men clothing optional hotels in Palm Springs are pretty much naked just at the pool. Yes, people meet up and play at the hot tub in the evening or take it back to their rooms; but, other than a naked pool, they could pass as ordinary relaxing hotels. You may find someone you find attractive staying at your hotel, but you'll be just as likely meet someone on Grindr who is staying nearby. -
Texting Providers vs Giving a Cell Phone Call?

Be mindful not to send endless text messages. Apparently some people send 20-25 messages when 3-5 would do. -
Texting Providers vs Giving a Cell Phone Call?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + Axiom2001's topic in Questions About Hiring
I would not mention anything sexual in the first text massage, in case you have the wrong number. You can mention that you are Okay with telephone calls. Example: You (1st message): "Hello. I'm John. I saw your ad in XXX City. Are you available for a 1 hour session this Friday evening? I can travel or host in XXX neighborhood. If available, what is the rate you charge? I am willing to discuss more by phone call if you prefer" Him: "Yes, I am available on Friday. I charge XXX for outcalls. Etc..." You (2nd message): "Great! That rate works for me. How's 8pm? I see you are into kissing and water sports, which is what I'm looking for. Your ad says "Ask Me" about safe sex; so are you okay if I use a condom when I top? Feel free to call if you prefer to discuss in person" In summary, keep it short and sweet. Don't specifically mention paying for a sex act when hiring in the United States. Mention dates and city in the first message (in case he's traveling), but be careful about any more information in case you have the wrong number. Try to ask your important questions in the 2nd text messages, and keep them simple so he can respond with "Yes, I'm fine with those activities" . Don't waste his time with open ended questions such as "What do you enjoy to do in bed?" that require too much of his time to answer and may not answer what you really wanted to know. Happy hiring! -
Ahh. If only New Yorkers could learn to put the name of their city in the subject line!

Looking for Palm Springs hotel/resort recommendations
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to hwic04's topic in The Travel Desk
Using the Search function is very helpful. I typed "Palm Springs" in the Search field for the Travel Desk forum and found these useful threads: I have stayed at CCBC, Canyon Club, El Mirasol, and Desert Paradise, plus other Palm Springs gay hotels that are now closed. Of these I mentioned, I can recommend El Mirasol and Desert Paradise. Canyon Club is good for the cheap rate, but it's very hit or miss on whether you get an updated room. Even if you get an updated room, it's miles below the quality of experience at any other gay clothing-optional hotel. I wouldn't touch CCBC again; I've stayed overnight in bathhouses that were nicer. Only visit CCBC on a day pass if you need to. El Mirasol was very pleasant. I stayed there last weekend. There's a hot tub and two pools (one heated saltwater and one not-heated chlorine). It was not crowded, but the men I met were frisky enough 😉. I last stayed at Desert Paradise pre-pandemic, and the hotel has changed owners twice since then. It was a decent property when I stayed there; and, it looks like they've continued to make improvements. The two nicest gay hotels everyone talks about are Hacienda and INNdulge. Unfortunately, I have never stayed at either because they are both above my budget. Triangle Inn is on my list of gay hotels to try based on pleasant reviews and decent prices, but I haven't had the opportunity yet. It is smaller than the other hotels mentioned. -
Gay people often have older brothers. Why? And does it matter?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to KrisParr's topic in The Lounge
True..."queer" indeed means strange or different and describes things that are not the norm. The alphabet soup of groups included in the modern GBLT+ now represents the normal attitudes of society and is no longer queer. Today, "queer" would more aptly be used to describe monogamous couples who never had sexual relations before marriage. Back to the topic of gay men with older brothers: That may become a queer phenomenon as women continue giving birth to fewer children. Large nuclear families are queer today (not the norm) 😉 -
Thank you @Simon Suraci for your insight. As a client, I would have assumed that 12hrs overnight would be priced the same as or lower than 12hrs daytime because the provider doesn't have to be "on" while the client is asleep. However, your explanation of interrupted sleep and awkward morning preparations makes sense. Providers, take note of pricing more for the sessions you don't enjoy, and less for the sessions you enjoy but could use more bookings. Be sure to mention those price differences in your advertisement; otherwise, potential clients might not think to ask about the sessions you prefer. "Ask about my special rates for 12 hour daytime sessions concluding before midnight" would peak my interest when perusing advertisements (If that type of language is allowed by the host website).

Usual rates for hiring in NYC?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to MeatHead's topic in Questions About Hiring
Similarly, I'm finding better and better hotel rates in Manhattan this year as well. I like to visit late May or early June. In 2018 the best I could find was a crammed 150sq ft Queen Room for $350/night in Hell's Kitchen. In 2022 I paid $400/night for a better rooms in Tribeca and Midtown. This year, I booked a 300sq ft King Room in Chelsea for under $250/night. I'll be in NYC for 13 nights. I already have 2 well-reviewed escorts lined up. One advertises $300/hr, and the other told me $250/hr and he's "not a clockwatcher". If I can find more at that rate, I'll be hiring every other night! -
@Bokomaru I'm glad you have the financial resources to have 80 pages worth of taxes! Since the 2017 Tax Act, I now just take the standard deduction. All my retirement investments are now in Roth accounts so I don't have to keep track of capital gains, dividends, or interest. And I don't own a business or rental real estate, so there's no depreciation to keep track of. My taxes are 4 pages long. They could be 3 pages, but I choose to pay by check so I need to submit Form 1040-V.
