  1. Sometimes when I make a salad, I forgo the bacon bits. That's as vegan as I get
  2. I'll leave my telephone receiver off the hook during sex to avoid being disturbed. But I don't do that during the night.
  3. I've been on 18 cruises, and I've only seen a massuer on 1 of them. The rest had strictly massueses. The massuer sought me out on embarcation day as I walked into the spa area and gave me a good free neck massage as a sample. I booked him for a massage, and ended up jacking him off during the massage. Booked again, and made sure I swallowed him. But I stopped getting massages at all on cruise ships. The prices have become outrageous. And when they offer discounts on port days, they still automatically add a 20%+ mandatory gratuity on the non-discounted prices, so the price is still very high even when discounted. You can often get a better massage for less money in port. I might do a manicure/pedicure in the ship's spa if I have on board credit I need to spend. Gender separated saunas are going the way of the dinosaur, but where they exist I often use them to relax for a half hour before getting showered and dressed for dinner. Many others are open to hanky panky in the sauna, but I prefer to tell them my stateroom number and have them follow me out and we play there. In follow up surveys, I make sure to tell the cruise line how much I appreciated or was disappointed in their gender separated sauna, and make it clear I seek out cruise lines and ships with nice gender separated saunas. Some Princess ships even have gender separated saunas and steam rooms.

  5. It makes sense that the most socially/sexually popular individuals are the most likely to be exposed to monkeypox and also HIV, so it makes sense that there's a relationship between the two, not necessarily cause and effect.
  6. I saw Sam for a massage several years ago (5+ years ago). It was a nice massage. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding. I noted at the time that it was very similar quality to a good Massage Envy chain spa massage experience.
  7. Your observations are about right
  8. My parents used to buy canned Egg Nog in bulk at Costco to last throughout the year, for making French Toast (see below). But we never drank it outside of the Advent season.
  9. My mother discovered that making French Toast was super easy and tasty by buying French Bread, dipping in Egg Nog, then grilling both sides. So I am familiar with the taste. What are Egg Nog Pancakes? Just Egg Nog poured on the grill, or does it need to be mixed with something?
  10. Then I guess suggesting the Costco pharmacy is no good either
  11. I went to the Art Institute of Chicago last year (post Pandemic), and reservations were not required. The website is very misleading. I re-read and it says "Reservations are required for touchless entry". They are completely silent on the fact that reservations are not required if you don't mind touching money and tickets. The website says they honor City Pass with a skip the line opportunity. Now why would there be a line if reservations are required? But thanks for sharing.
  12. Are there any famous must-see museums which require advanced reservations? (Not just suggested reservations). I am particularly interested in Vienna and London. I will spend 5 nights in each city this summer, and would rather just show up to one museum each day and not have to reserve everything in advance. In the US, I only know of: Los Angeles: The Getty Villa in Malibu requires reservations in order to manage parking DC: The White House requires reservations & background checks months in advance New York: The UN requires reservations. The Statue of Liberty requires reservations, selling out months in advance. The New York Transit museum in Brooklyn requires reservations, but this might be temporary for caronavirus.
  13. I meant dozen, singular. Sorry
  14. I only drink Egg Nog between Thanksgiving and New Year's.
  15. I plan on avoiding winter by spending 5 weeks in warmer climates (3 weeks in Puerto Vallarta at Christmas, 2 weeks in Florida and the Caribbean at Washington's Birthday).
  16. I keep throw blankets on my drawing room sofas and near my bed. If it gets too cold I use them instead of hearing the entire house. So far the heat has not come on this year. We've reached freezing at night but the days are in the 60s and that combined with cooking and laundry and general living in the house has kept the temperatures inside above 72 day and night. If natural gas prices have increased by as much as you say, then my typical $25/month winter has bill may soar to $40 by January when it really gets here.
  17. Does your supermarket have a pharmacy? After I was turned away from Walgreens and CVS, I walked into my supermarket and got the flu shot with only 1 person ahead of me in line.
  18. Since we are limited to discussing the game only and not politics, walking off the field would result in a definite loss. I am reminded of Jesse Owens in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. He could have walked out in response to the treatment from the host country. But instead he stayed and won 4 gold medals. This was an accomplishment for him, his country, and for showcasing the ignorance of the host country. Winning brings more influence than losing. We should stay and play and win!
  19. Or an "uptick"
  20. The situation is not any worse for people older than 65 than it was 2 years ago, it just got a lot better for people under 65. The significant drop in deaths for people under 65 has increased the share of deaths over 65, but not the total number of deaths for that age group.
  21. In Las Vegas, the few gay establishments with security checks are the ones frequented the most by out of town straight female tourists and their boyfriends. The dozens of gay bars throughout the city which are frequented by locals usually only have security in the parking lot to keep the vehicles from being broken into. On a busy Saturday night they might also check identification for age, but this is not the norm. I can't speak for what the lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning bars do for security.
