Grocery Surprises, What's Got Your Goat With High Price?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to DR FREUD's topic in The Lounge
No, but they've stopped using sesame seed rolls and switched from Coke to Pepsi. Yuck! I wish they would have just raised prices instead! -
Advice for a newbie investor?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + keroscenefire's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I am buying with every paycheck. Because I don't plan on selling for another 20-40 years, then yes markets look cheap compared to where I expect them to be in 2040-2060. So, I am thankful every week the market goes down, and I get to buy more on sale! If my time horizon was to sell within the next 2 years, I wouldn't buy any more now. -
About a decade ago I was taking Truvada. At that time, my insurance plan was set up where they'd pay the first $1K each year, then I pay the next $1K, then after that they pay 90%, I pay 10%. Let me tell you, Truvada was not $40. I hit my $1K bridge in February/March of each year, and paid $1K out of pocket within 2 months. Even with that high price, I was happy to pay it considering what a miracle drug it is. I have a different insurance plan now. When I switched to Descovy at the recommendation of my doctor (internal medicine, HIV specialist in my state), my insurance plan wouldn't initially approve the change at first. After filing out a form and showing that I was already taking the "cheaper" Truvada but was recommended by my doctor to switch, they eventually approved. I think there was also a lawsuit going on at the time by HIV patient advocates and the ruling forced insurance companies to cover Descovy. I now pay $0 out of pocket for Descovy. I think my insurance premiums are around $750/month, which are paid by my employer.

It's not common to have a straight guy that mostly bottoms. He says he only Tops 2 percent of the time. From his only fans: Max K (Top 2.0% 🌍)

I've had that happen a few times. If the guy's massage skills are really outstanding and his price is competitive for therapeutic, then I take advantage of the opportunity when offered.
-
Wow. 😲 I'd be calling my doctor, too...to request my medical records and move on to a different doctor. Was there no discussion of known side effects with each alternative? Crazy 😧

If you go and no one you fancy is working that night, then what have you lost? $5 cover charge? Enjoy some drinks and a chat with the bartender or patrons. Besides, the more you drink, the better they'll look! At least you have the option of nude male dancers in a bar. Most cities don't offer such opportunities. Appreciate it while you have it.

I switched to Descovy from Truvada about 8 years ago. I remember having strong headaches and disorientation for about a day. It went away after about a day, and no problems or complications since. I hope everything works out for you. I see a gay internal medicine HIV specialist 2 or 3 times a year to make sure everything's working right. Even when he moved out of my healthcare network, I choose to pay out of network prices to continue to see him because we talk about everything and test for everything.

Mrs. White: Are you a cop? Mr. Green: No, I'm a plant. Miss Scarlet: A plant? I thought men like you were usually called a fruit.

The Fruit Loop is an area of Las Vegas near UNLV that contains multiple gay bars, nightclubs, gay bookstore, and bathhouse. It gets its "loop" name from the one-way streets in the area that lead to/from McCarran airport. In order to find a parking spot in the area, one often has to loop around the one way streets, especially if you miss your driveway and have to go around again.

Kuma is the newest, 3rd bathhouse in Las Vegas. Entourage and Hawks are in Commercial Center, near the gay bars Badlands and Spotlight Lounge. Kuma is in the Fruit Loop, near the gay bars Piranha, Freezone, Quadz.

Monkeypox a new worry for gay and bi men
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to Luv2play's topic in Men's Health
People with a history of Keloid scars are advised to not get intradermal injections, but instead opt for subcutaneous injection. https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/downloads/pdf/monkeypox/jynneos-intradermal-vaccination.pdf#:~:text=Because of concern that intradermal injections could result, have had keloid scars be given JYNNEOS subcutaneously. -
Monkeypox a new worry for gay and bi men
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to Luv2play's topic in Men's Health
My mother had the chicken pox as an adult in the late 20th century. (She was never exposed to it as a child). While "mild" in the sense that there was no hospitalization or complications, it was very painful and lasted for weeks. It was 10x worse than the symptoms of a child with chicken pox. It actually looked much worse than these videos of monkeypox. Now there is a chicken pox vaccine. My initial reaction to hearing about the chicken pox vaccine was similar to @arnemgreeves "why are we vaccinating against a mild illness". But witnessing the pain in "mild" adult chicken pox, and with little chance of catching chicken pox as a child nowadays due to public vaccinations, I would probably have my theoretical child vaccinated against chicken pox. I personally got my first monkeypox vaccine full dose in early July, but declined the 2nd dose because it was only offered in the forearm beneath the skin which has an increase risk of Keloid scars. When the FDA emergency order is lifted and they start offering full 2nd doses, then I will go get a 2nd dose. I don't want this mild disease if it's anything like adult chicken pox, but I agree it is indeed mild compared to the likes of polio where there are serious and permanent health complications. -
Not planning to have sex… can I stop prep and resume later?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + 7829V's topic in Men's Health
I also discovered my insurance would approve a new 30-pill refill after 23 days. I started ordering refills after 23 days exactly. After 4 months of doing this, you have an extra 1 month supply for long travel. I now have about 4 month's backup, so I don't worry about long travel. -

I told my pharmacy/insurance I was going on a 30 day cruise. I would give them my days in each port, if they wanted to try to mail me my meds to the cruise ship. They gave in and let me fill my prescription in advance of the trip. -
A fireman fuck buddy of mine is married. When the fireman needs a massage, he goes to a franchise/chain massage business for the cheap price and decent massage, then texts me when he's on his way home to see if he can stop by my house to finish him off before he goes home to his husband. I'm almost always happy to oblige. It's quite a nice arrangement for all involved.

Before you travel, tell your pharmacy and insurance company you need extra bottle(s) now because you're going to be traveling for a long period of time. This approach has worked for me when I know I will be traveling near the time when I'm about to need a refill. -
...or those who DON'T know their anonymous multiple sex partners 😆

As a client, I've missed 2 massage appointments because I took a nap and overslept my alarms. Life happens. I apologized profusely. I was still able to meet with one of the massuers albeit over 30 minutes late, and tipped extra.

In L.A. Super bored. Any Recommendations?

Art's Deli in Studio City is fantastic -
Because escorts and massuers don't have an answering and scheduling service, I do not expect an answer until about 4 hours after my initial message. They could be with a client, at the gym, eating a meal, taking a nap, working their day job, or watching a matinee Broadway show. To @Kevin Slater's point, I never contact more than one provider at a time, because it would be rude on my part if they both respond back that they're available, but now I need to cancel on one of them and have wasted their time. So, I try to make initial contact 2 days in advance to schedule. I state the day, timeframe, and location I'm looking for, then wait. If they haven't replied in 4 hours, I reply with "Since I haven't heard from you, you must be busy. I'm going to try another provider, but let me know if your availability changes". Then I repeat with someone else. With this method, I usually find someone within 1-4 tries. Maybe 1 out of 4 will not respond. Another 1 out of 4 responds within minutes. And the other 2 out of 4 respond within 1-3 hours. Usually my first, second, or third try succeeds in scheduling a meeting. Sometimes people are just busy for the time I want. IF I'm super horny and want right NOW, then I stick with contacting one of my regulars a few hours in advance, and they respond probably a little more quickly than if I was a new client.

The dancers don't want to be smelling strong cologne on dozens of customers while in tight quarters of a lap dance. As a customer, I also don't want my lap dances to smell of the strong cologne of previous customers all over my dancer. For similar reasons, most massuers or escorts will request their clients where no cologne. It's very close contact, and cologne is overpowering.

I love it! Wish more businesses enforced rules like this! I may actually go visit Portland again, just to visit this place. I used to visit Portland annually to check out Silverado, but I haven't been since 2019.

3 people of unspecified race, sex, gender, religion, political affiliation, or occupation walk into a bar. That's it. Did you expect something funny?

Agree 💯. I could not have stated it better myself, except for a spelling change 😉
