  1. That is true - you can schedule in advance by using the app on your phone - assuming you know what time you plan to depart!
  2. I am with you on this one - I find it very annoying when ads are not accurate. What exactly do 'they' think is going to happen? I'm just going to settle for a VW Beetle when I am shopping for a Porsche? Sorry, no - I try to be respectful of everyone and their limits; but I expect the same respect in return. The only thing worse than a deceptive ad is to over promise and under deliver. Here ends the rant.
  3. @Reluctant Daddy Is this him?? https://friendboy.pro/boys/Skipthegames
  4. Um, no. Hot mess. Not going there again - cannot recommend. I am hoping I caught him on a bad day.
  5. Not that I have been able to find. You may want to consider using a dental dam - some of them come in flavors to make the experience better. It creates a thin barrier that can help keep you healthy. https://www.amazon.com/Trust-Dam-15-Pack-Assorted/dp/B000H3A9L0/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=dental+dam&qid=1570372303&sr=8-5 You may also want to consider washing out your mouth/gargling with an anticeptic afterwards (gin or vodka will do in a pinch). Mouthwash does not really get the job done. But even alcohol is not very effective in killing parasites.

  7. It is hard work to be a functioning drunk - please don't add to it! lol
  8. Not that I have noticed...
  9. Yes, I have one - a tote - and love it! Take it to the beach all the time. The aim is not to get drunk, mind you, just have a bit of wine while enjoying the sun and surf. I always carry some grape juice in the tote, in case somebody gets suspicious.
  10. I'm getting to the point where I feel like I should update my phone. I've had it for 4 years, it is in decent shape but the battery life is not what it used to be. I can live with it but it isn't convenient. Looking to stick with iphone but it sounds like the first 5G model won't be available until next year. I don't follow the technology closely - do you fellas think I should wait until next year? Are you waiting? http://new.whatmobile.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/5G-Network.jpg
  11. Steve Holt used to spend a lot of time in Fort Lauderdale - he's been traveling but he is pretty reachable, ask when next he will be in town. He has all the attributes you requested. https://rentmen.eu/SteveHolt Reviewed here: https://www.daddysreviews.com/search/Active/steve/steve_holt_ftlauderdale
  12. That's been my experience!
  13. I get that in Chrome all the time - basically means the website does not have an SSL certificate, so traffic to and from the site is not encrypted. It fixed itself when I updated my browser to the most recent version.
  14. Average means you are the best of the worst and the worst of the best. You can do better!
  15. A cabin. With a balcony. On a cruise ship. https://www.thebalance.com/how-to-retire-on-a-cruise-ship-4589917 Only half joking. I have thought about it seriously.
  16. Do you usually confer with him and confirm your appointments the same day (in the morning as you outlined)? If that is the approach you are both used to, the pattern you have established, shall we say, then it makes sense that he would make alternate plans if you do not confirm the same day as usual. Like inviting friends over to watch sports... I also make appointments days ahead of time, but I always confirm same day, even for my regulars. People get sick, life happens, things come up. So I consider that pretty standard.
  17. I tend to prefer older guys, but I have heard good things about: https://rentmasseur.com/ultramarine https://rentmasseur.com/BodyworkByAlexi https://rentmasseur.com/SeanDeept That should give you a starting point - they have all been discussed here on the forum, should be able to find comments easily enough. KT may be a little older but is excellent: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/24861/
  18. I expect him to arrive on a broom!
  19. You may have better luck posting this question in the "Deli" section of the forum... http://pamleyokc.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/funny_road_sign.jpg
  20. You do you!
  21. Exactly right - they hope you will bring your portfolio over to them for management so they can charge a fee on your nest egg - at that age it should be a substantial nest egg. They also look to talk you into buying an annuity so they can get a commission on that sale - they will try to sell you on the guarantees offered by an annuity but notice how they gloss over the fees and commissions. When folks ask me for advice I usually say: stick with low cost index funds and when you feel you need help, speak to an adviser that is legally required to act as a fiduciary; must act in your best interest. The other advisers only have to meet the "suitability" rule, if not a fiduciary, and that is total BS.
  22. Not really. Unless it is Goku.
  23. A for effort!
  24. https://www.daddysreviews.com/cruise You may be reinventing the wheel - what would make your proposed site different?
