A typo makes for a rather alarming forecast published in the SMH. As the person who tweeted it noted, 'Maybe best we all stay home on Thursday.'

VERY VERY SAD DAY. A good friend of mine, after 7 yrs of medical school and training has been fired for ONE minor indiscretion. He slept with one of his patients and can no longer work in the profession. What a waste of time, effort, training and money! Dude's still paying off school loans. Just goes to show you how ONE minor mistake can ruin your life. Please pray for him and his family. He is a really great guy and one of the best veterinarians I know.

Yesterday I went shopping and as I approached the area where paper towels and toilet paper were stocked, I was relieved to see that the shelves were fully stocked. Then as I got closer, I was disappointed to discover that I was going need to buy generic as the Cottonelle that I prefer (nor any other brand) was in stock.

As soon as I can find the Cottonelle, I will be restocking the guest bathroom reserve supply with the generic. (Not that a guest has used the guest bathroom since February.)

At the Costco I go to they now have a whiteboard at the entrance listing things they are out of stock of and I see hydrogen peroxide always listed on the board. Not sure why people are hoarding that. I was able to get some Kirkland paper towels weds when I was there. Paper towels are something I go through and decided to get some since the only ones I saw at Kroger were the cheap generic ones and the upscale grocery store I like to go didn't have any paper towels at all. When I was at Costco Friday I didn't pay attention to the sold out board but noticed someone in the checkout line had a pack of Kirkland TP which they've been sold out of the last few times I was there.

I wanted to make yeast rolls for myself on Thanksgiving and the grocery store was sold out of yeast again. Not sure if people are hoarding it again or if they sold out because more people were stuck at home for Thanksgiving and decided to bake bread at home, fortunately I was able to get their bakery to weigh out a little bit and sell it to me.

Local grocery stores in San Diego seem to have plenty of TP. But paper towel stocks are low and the shelves are pretty empty. I wonder if people are hoarding paper towels more than TP or are the manufacturers of TP just better prepared for hoarding round 2?

Well all of your Forum buddies are safe - we're virtual. Allow yourself some diversion. I've recently posted about my very limited massages since the lockdown. I believe it can be done safely but everyone has a different comfort level from complete abstinence to going to spas. I haven't seen anyone share an experience on the Forum of getting COVID from a massage. Let's hope the trend continues. The masseur has to earn a living but doesn't want to get sick either. I seek a massage for relaxation and human touch. If I have to be uncomfortable mounting the table and then start a 14-day countdown to COVID, I may as well stay home and not get one.

It's definitely a risk, but if you both wear masks and keep the room well-ventilated (keep the windows and/or AC fan running), that definitely mitigates the risk. You can also have him wash his hands before he touches you.

I did get COVID back in late March/early April. I suspect I got it from a single Lyft passenger who was coughing next to me on St. Patrick's Day, right before everything closed. This was before masks were really used often so I didn't have that to protect me and the trip was a fairly long one (about a half-hour) so I definitely could've been exposed.

COVID is really rough so I recommend doing everything you can to avoid it. To me the precautions I mention are helpful, but I honestly would probably avoid meeting up with any masseurs if I lived in an area with a lot of cases and signs of community transmission (above 5% positivity rate is usually a sign of that). Right now in Colorado we are above that so I am holding off on any hiring now even though I possibly have some immunity from having it in the spring. Wouldn't want to risk passing it on to others even if I wouldn't necessarily get sick.

I had a massage with him. Therapeutic. His clothes stayed on the entire time. I figured considering the site he was on but nothing extra.

The massage was pretty good though.

The mailman who had been on the same route for 10 years was leaving the job. He had made many friends on the route and decided to put a note in their mailboxes informing them. Many on his route came out of their houses to wish him well and some even gave him an envelope with a card and/or a gift. When he walked onto the porch of one house, the door opened and a young woman in a sheer nightgown invited him in. She took his hand and led him upstairs to the bedroom where she undressed him and they had wild sex. Afterwards she led him back downstairs to the dining room where there was a sumptuous lunch laid out. As he was leaving, she handed him a five dollar bill. “Why are you doing this for me?”, he asked. “I’ve never even seen you look out the window when I was delivering your mail.” “When I got your note, I wasn’t sure what I should do”, she replied. “My husband is older than I and knows more about how things should be done so I asked him. He said, “Fuck him, give him 5 bucks.” The lunch was entirely my idea.”

An older man was requested by his Doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam.

The doctor gave the man a jar and said 'Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow.'

The next day the old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.

The doctor asked what happened and the man explained, 'Well, doc, it's like this -- first I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing' Then I asked my wife for help.

She tried with her right hand, then with her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, still nothing.

We even called up Arleen, the lady next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezin' it between her knees, but still nothing ..'

The doctor was shocked ! You asked your neighbor ?

The old man replied "Yep, none of us could get the jar open."

I've been told I'm overly trusting or generous, so perhaps it goes with the territory. Here are my relevant tales:

Back in college a friend needed money for a family emergency, I "loaned" him what he needed. He agreed to a repayment schedule and then didn't honor it. About 5 years later I receive a letter with a check, so I was eventually repaid even with a little interest.

About a decade ago, a workout buddy who I met at the gym 5-6 times a week for over a year asked for some help because his car was breaking down and he was worried he'd losing his job without a car. I gave him the 15k he needed for a used car. He promised to pay it back when he could. Everything was good for a couple months and then he vanished. Another couple months go by and suddenly he's back. Turns out the money was for a deposit and first/last rent on a new place for him and his gf. It took much longer than originally promised, but he eventually paid me back, left his gold digging gf, and at one of our parties met the woman he's now married to, so I guess that worked out well.

I guess I saved the best for last? The first time I hired, I made a critical mistake of not paying attention to the drinks I was offered. One was spiked with something that resulted in a 7 hour blackout, waking up naked on the bathroom floor, and an escort who was upset about me over drinking and a wasted night. I only remembered having the a beer and a shot or two, but I was very nervous since it was my first time, so I believed him, apologized, and paid for the night even though I'd only booked a 2 hour session. I stumbled out to my car only to realize my brand new iphone was missing. He claimed innocence and I wasn't thinking clearly, so after a little searching I went home thinking I'd somehow lost it. I disabled it as soon as I got home. Over the next couple weeks, it would appear and disappear on apple's tracking. Then one night, after I'd called the wireless company to disable/blacklist the phone, it appeared on the map around 4 am 20 minutes from my house. I'd supposedly lost it over an hour away. I never recovered it. All told, that night cost me a couple grand but that's cheap compared to dying from a drug overdose.

I hate admit it, but $4000. It was 7 years ago. I contacted a well known escort/cam guy in Las Vegas to come to Ohio for a week. He wanted half up front, which wasn't an issue. My dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had to have his kidney out that week. Needless to say, he declined to reschedule saying I was a flake. I explained the $4k was not a deposit. I was willing to compromise and split it. It went bad quickly. I never got any of it back.

A popular LA Adonis provider who I've hired several times before asked me for a $1,200 advance for 4 sessions. We have done that before so I trusted him and gave him the money. Then he ghosted me.
When I reached out he told me he had got married, had found Jesus and affiliate marketing and no longer needed to escort.
It's all a lie b/c he's still seeing clients on the DL while posting on Instagram screenshots of how much money he supposedly makes online.
Still don't know why he scammed me / singled me out if I was such a reliable client. ☹

I ended up accepting how the gay community is, and the world in general. I'm middle aged, not fit but not ugly or completely let go. I realized the guys i truly wanted will most likely not be interested in me. Just google gay escorts and found that it is more common than i would of thought. I splurge every couple of weeks.

The little girl was eating watermelon and her mother noticed that she was swallowing the seeds. “If you swallow watermelon seeds”, her mother warned, “a watermelon plant can start to grow inside you and your belly can get so big that you will need an operation.” The girl stopped swallowing the seeds. Later in the day, her mother’s friend, who was 7 months pregnant stopped for a visit. The little girl patted the woman’s belly, smiled at her and said, “I’ll bet I know what you’ve been doing.”

I am disabled and always tell a provider when scheduling a session. My disability is easy to accommodate. In 30 years as a client I have only been turned down once because of it and that was in the 90s.
