I turn off the feature where escorts can see if I visited their profile on RM. When I had it on, I would occasionally get messages (this happens more with PRO ads on A4A I find). It felt sort of awkward if an escort messaged me and I have no interest in hiring. I just wouldn't reply. Which seems rude but also it doesn't waste anymore of their time on someone who isn't interested.

I think any numerical estimate would have an EXTREMELY wide margin of error. Also this study is only looking at escorts who advertise online. There are significant numbers of escorts who don't advertise because they get their clients through stripping gigs(I would say at least half of Adonis Lounge dancers are "available" but only a handful have ads, for example).

I think I would too. I have my profile set to invisibility, but when I'm planning to contact someone, I will change it to visible, and visit their profile, just to see if they will reach out to me first. So far it's never happened.

It appears the next version of Firefox is a major rewrite. And it's due next week.
My fingers are crossed that it solves the performance issues and keeps all the features I like.

I also hope this isn't fake news.

Saw him last year. Very nice guy, reasonable massage skills... Perhaps a B... He was pretty beefy, just add a few pounds to the pics but still works out... nice muscled arms.

If you're that concerned about the cents that a text message may cost you, perhaps you might want to rethink hiring escorts altogether

No, it happened to me many years ago, much stronger than alcohol. Luckily, a friend was there to get me out of there immediately.

This not meant as a judgement on George Takei, rather it is not always alcohol.

It’s the oldest date rape drug in the book....it’s called....A-L-C-O-H-O-L

Seriously....the guy is trying to imply that he was drugged and molested by Takei......

    Fucking decades later?.....please Mary.
You got drunk with a horney older gay man at his house.
You’re lucky you didn’t wake up chained to the radiator with your ass bleeding.

Personally, I’ve always thought Takei was creepy, but this is just sensationalist crap.
I wouldn’t have been impressed or cared if the “victim” had told me the story the next morning
over brunch. Decades later.....you expect me to care?.....really?.....why?

What bull crap. If anyone is suffering from PTSD, you should help them find a counselor to help with an application to the VA for financial assistance. I had trouble navigating through the VA bureaucracy (not for PTSD), until a call to a friend who has experience with the VA.

I couldn't begin to list all the things I have bought since the first IKEA stores appeared in this country, from packets of sauce for the Swedish meatballs to chairs, beds, dressers, tv stands, CD towers, and at least 80 linear feet of 6'6" high bookcases (we have a lot of books). Everything isn't of the highest quality, but I have never bought anything that didn't fulfill its function and last for as long as I needed it; as I sit here and look around me, I can see seven pieces of furniture in this room alone that came from IKEA stores in Pennsylvania and California, including one low bookcase I bought for a former bedroom twenty years ago. [A quick walk-through of the house turns up 38 individual pieces of furniture that came from IKEA.] Most of the things I put together myself, including the bookcases, which would have cost a fortune if I had bought them assembled at a furniture store.

BTW, if one is driving on the 10 between Palm Springs and LA, the IKEA at the exit in West Covina is a convenient place to stop to use the bathrooms, since California Interstate rest stops are often closed. And if you are looking for a different kind of fast food than McD et al., , the cafeteria there has the meatballs and other interesting choices.

Yes, I do give sometimes. The last one was lying on a stairway in a subway station, sobbing, with half his face bandaged. His sign said, "Kicked in the face while sleeping on the subway." I walked past and then backtracked to give him a dollar. If he buys drugs, I hope they make him feel better.

I've had one PO Box for 30 years, and have had others for shorter times when I've lived in different towns. I kept that one because I knew I would always go back there, and it provided a 'permanent' address as I moved around the country. Even when one lives in the same city all the time, it provides a permanent safe place for delivery that isn't affected my local kids or by the weather if you're away for a few days. Obviously there are fewer concerns if you live in an apartment building with the mail boxes in a sort of secure area. When I order things on line, I use my home address if I know I'll be there for the delivery but the PO Box if I'm not sure, works for me. Australia Post sends an e-mail when mail is delivered to my PO Box.

I'm considering a PO box. A few deliveries left on my front steps have disappeared. (Most likely kids with too much time on their hands.)

I used a then-new service called PeaPod for home grocery delivery when I lived in Chicago and wasn't driving. It was a healthy walk to the grocery store so I'd pick up fresh stuff myself and have heavier stuff, staples, and frozen goods delivered. How hard is it to pick out a bag of frozen peas? Who wants to carry a bag of kitty litter eight blocks?

I give money with the caveat that it only be spent on drugs. Food and shelter are readily available from a wide variety of social service agencies.
