Ahhh, Racial “preference”, sprinkled with a little bit of ageism too.... Is it Peter Pan you seek, my friend? ?

Sexual orientation, or sexual preference towards a gender, is scientifically proven to be genetic, metaphysical, and innate. Racial preference, is scientifically, psychologically, and sociologically proven to be a learned behavior. The two are not the same. Believe it or not, your attraction to Latin men, is learned, and at some point in your life, the idea of Latin men being sexy, came from a source of influence. I’m not saying this is good or bad, but you were not born with that preference.

That wasn’t his purpose for posting those pictures. what I got from him was this.... Most guys are attracted to guys that are hot. (Smooth skin, beautiful bodies, beautiful faces).... To reject any of those guys, simply based on their race, proves that the idea of preference is not only ridiculous, but flat out racist.... @The_Impeccable_G , further proved this theory...out of all of the gorgeous white guys out there (I don’t have any racial preferences, I like them all), he posts a pic of a somewhat cute, but average looking white guy, with no physique, basically telling the world that he’d reject any of those hot guys of color, to prefer that, to support his racist ideologies. The point is that when someone is racist, or has “preferences”, their biases are even stronger than one’s general sense of beauty standards.... they throw that all away, just to be with someone white.

Both of these guys, are drop dead gorgeous..... purely hot..... Anyone who would pull a “No thanks, just a preference” with these guys, clearly shows that there’s a PROBLEM.

And is your next statement going to be “One of my closest friends are black”? ???? Dude, you’re going to have to find better “racist minimizing”, cliches....

I’m not distorting this.... I’m examining it. 1.) Your Asian colleagues are not your friends. They are people whom you are pleasant, polite, and “nice” to. I’m sure they might not even know you’re gay, let alone know that you scoff are the mere idea of dating one of ....”them”... lol 2). Entertaining Asian customers is transactional, and has absolutely no relevance to this discussion. 3.) The core group of white guys, who you let your hair down with, keep it real with, and speak freely with are your friends... And there’s nothing wrong with any of this...... Just don’t try and swerve around loosely using the word “friend”, with all of these groups of people

THIS... Couldn’t have stated it better... What’s scary isn’t the sexual preferences... what’s scary is the broadening trickle-down effect of every other aspect of life that’s impacted by these “preferences”.....It makes me think of: 1). A qualified Asian man who was turned down for a job he was overqualified for, because he wasn’t a “fit”, among the majority white organization... “just a preference” 2.) The many black small businesses who can’t get start up funding because someone behind the scene as a bank, turned down their loan due to a “gut feeling”. “Just a preference” 3.) The white juror, who gave a guilty verdict to an innocent Hispanic man, with no conclusive evidence, but because of his hunch and “feelings”, about immigrants ... “just a preference” Racial preference, bigotry, bias, and discrimination, are rarely compartmentalized. And most white men, who say they don’t like Asians, blacks, or Hispanics sexually, typically live a Eurocentric life... their friends are white, the people they employ are white, their world is white. And it’s whitewashed with privilege and denial.

Another revelation... It’s obvious that this core group of friends of yours includes no people of color either.... which is obviously telling, since there’s the ongoing joke about one friend liking Asians “too much”, and the other friend who can’t get enough “BBC”.... all the while you’re saying “yuck”, to both of them... because you wouldn’t dare entertain a black guy or an asian guy... The visual is so hilariously clear, yet typical......

Since you are “Boarding School” educated, I’m sure you understand the power, intention, and subliminal meanings, behind the words we use when communicating, and the root causes of why we use them. I’m not offended by (nor do I need to be made happy by) you changing your original post. I want you to stand in what you wrote and understand that there’s meaning behind how you described these people, and the words you selected, whether it was intentional or not. It’s deeply rooted in your upbringing, in your environment that you were raised, and in the life that you currently live, and it’s beyond the surface level of your consciousness. Obviously, there was much humor found among your group of WASPY friends regarding one member of the group who likes Asians.... and that’s your prerogative.....what needs to be examined is why it’s addressed as an inside joke to your group.....

I’m not emotionally impacted by your statements or prejudices. What you originally wrote is what you meant, which is indicative of how you see various groups of people. You don’t have to change anything you wrote, nor do you have to change any of your “preferences”.... Just don’t say that you’re not a racist. ???

The term “preference”, is just a current, “softer”, term for prejudice.... Let’s just call “preference” what it really is..... DIET RACISM or RACISM-“LITE”

You couldn’t even identify him as a man, a person or a human being, just a big black phallic... if that’s all you see when you see a black man, then you obviously wouldn’t be attracted to them... To minimize racial “preferences”, to the preference of a guy’s level of hairiness is Comparing apples and oranges.... Ask yourself why you don’t like blacks and Asians sexually, and introspectively address every single assumption, stereotype, image, and belief you have about them...This will tell you far more about yourself, and your “preferences”,

Also, if you do t feel comfortable about disclosing your race, just search through your source ofproviders, and look for key words and phrases that indicate that they have no racial biases. Typically, the following language in profiles indicate this: “No Hangups” “All Types” Etc.

Agreed. I look at it like this.... I’d rather have had the experience of getting ghosted, than waste my time (and money) in a lackluster-awkward session, with a shady acting provider due to bad “YMMV”. Always remember that when you’ve gotten ghosted, you still SAVED YOUR MONEY ?
