I once had a masseur (from Manta) ask for my number because he wanted to go on a date with me. First disclaimer, I’m not a model at all, second, I hadn’t even tipped yet and didn’t tip anything special. So fast forward, I had dinner with him and went to my place. I once received Nuru massage (which is basically a thick lube substance where a masseur rubs his body all over yours) at Manta (before it was Hero). I don’t know if they still offer it but it was pretty intense.

I’ve had good luck there. I can’t say I’ve had really bad experiences anywhere consistently. Of course one pops up due to chemistry, a tired masseur, who knows, but I’ve had as many good experiences at Greenhouse as I have anywhere else. I think the boys are trained as they are for super men. Same owner. The really good ones graduate and go to work at Super Men’s.

When I used to have a bad experience, and I’m approached about a HE, I decline as I’m already thinking about where I’m going to book next. And by next, I mean like as soon as I walk out the door. Yes those days are expensive but I refuse to sit on a bad experience without taking action.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Greenhouse. I won’t claim the boys there are the best or cutest in the world but I think this is a smear campaign by another spa. I’ve never been hit up for “pay me good tip?” during the massage and always left happy. On the contrary, my last visit to Time Square Spa resulted in a guy suggesting “if you want massage there, you’ll give good tip right?” I don’t mind, as it wasn’t a specific amount requested and I did plan to give a nice tip anyway.

Anyone have any spots on the east side (I’m familiar with Shangrila and Utopia)? I’m open to a spa that may also have female staff in addition to men. Or even solo providers. I’m feeling especially motivated for a rub soon and would be very convenient.
