Anyone have any experience with Sunny Chinese Body Work? 137 Rivington St, New York, NY 10002 I called and a female answered but she indicated that they had male masseurs.

Yes I’m aware that what happened would definitely be illegal by the letter of the law. What I’m suggesting is that I didn’t think I was caused harm and I didn’t want that situation to ruin this man. So, I decided to give Energy Men Spa another chance. Ugh. I show up, I’m assigned Murial (?) a relatively cute somewhat tall Chinese masseur. His skill was horrible. He used his thumb as a weapon and it was painful. I know we have to be careful about what we say on here, so let’s just say I was teased and then the shake down for tip began. While the end was complete, it wasn’t really enjoyable and I won’t return again. No wonder that shit hole is never busy. These places don’t understand how to run an honest business. Bye.

I’m not sure who on here is familiar with Renew York Spa on 8th Ave next door to the Q. It is a mixed spa, meaning men and women and legit and YMMV. I think the facility is quite impressive and you can get a very good massage. Peter (40+) medium build, nothing special in the looks department delivers a very strong but good massage. He can be quite enjoyable at the end too. I’ve also had Jake - not as good as Peter but can be enjoyable. Today I tried Tony. He is not skilled and not enjoyable at the end. And trust me; I tried. If you haven’t checked it out, do it, but skip on Tony.

This is horribly wrong advice. Cooking wine is very different than drinking wine. It is made to withstand the heat and as such maintains the flavoring. Drinking wine is no match for the heat and basically it serves no purpose. It’s also more expensive.

I don’t know about those two in particular but the ownership opened Chelsea Men’s Spa on West 29th. a recent yelp review refers to an Allan so maybe he’s still with them.

I’ve also had several failed 4 hand experiences but had one that was fantastic in Mexico City. It was advertised only as a four hand tantric experience. I think in cases where that’s the only thing they provide it can be mind blowing. When you ask solo masseurs to work together, I think it fails for reasons you suggested.

I don’t watch for the hotness factor. I watch for the unique setting, the experience I see the recipient have, the teasing and skill of the masseur. I guess I’ve had enough massages in my life at this stage that I now seek something out of the ordinary and I think the Japanese are great at providing that.

So I but the bullet and visited Renew Spa today. I think they have one male masseur, Patrick. He is not your 20s twink type. Rather I put him in his 40s and maybe 200+ lbs. fairly tall. Anyway, I recommend seeing him.

If he’s any good, he will make a fortune in Palm Springs with all the old gay money in that city.

You sound very responsible and I’m sure many would appreciate knowing more about their personal masseurs or spa’s efforts to do the same. Sadly as receivers we are left in the dark about a lot of this. I also recognize that providers would also like to have this information as well. Pandemics sure do suck.
