The most frequent annoying behavior I've seen from Masseurs is to keep checking their phone during the session.  But, that's not the most annoying thing I've had happen.  Several years ago, I had a masseur keep chatterbox talking to me in . . . .baby talk throughout the session.  "We don't want any nasty old stwess in ow muscles, now do we."

The global organisation that regulates the erotic / sensual massage industry: The Regulatory Union of Bodyworking has a sub committee (The Terms Unifying Group) that is set up to handle issues like this.
At the last meeting of the RUB&TUG group (as it is known for short) the members couldn’t reach agreement on what the difference was between a sensual massage and an erotic massage. The minutes show that the meeting ended unhappily although it was agreed that in that situation the meeting could not have been classified as sensual or erotic.

Not unusual at all. Very common. Most are too embarrassed to ask. Not every provider offers this, so it’s good to know. Be polite and respectful when asking. Most clients love it even if they don’t ask for it. Only a few truly don’t like it. A lot would like it a lot but they are not clean or prepared for prostate play and so most masseurs won’t go there if they can tell that’s the case. As always, the masseur has to read the room, and the client should definitely indicate verbally or physically that they like something or don’t like it so we don’t waste your session time on stuff you don’t enjoy.

As for other unusual requests, I concede on a case by case basis. Push-ups, no problem. Wear a particular piece of underwear, jock, etc., no big deal. For things requiring a lot of me outside the session like getting underwear dirty and ripe over a few days, I can’t do that. I have to be clean for other clients. If you want me to work out right before, I can’t guarantee my schedule allows for it. If a client books right before you, I’m working, not turning down that opportunity to earn.

I wrote that posting.  I don't think he misled me.  I just think he could communicate better what his availability is, and if/when it changes then to let a potential client know in a timely manner is all.
