I've had several cystoscopies done. Years ago, the urologist used long, thin, rigid rods and moved them around to look inside the bladder. That hurt, some pain after, and a lot of bladder spasms after where I had to get to the bathroom and pee. It would be several weeks each time before I even thought about sex.
