When I was a child our neighbors on one side were Japanese/American. I used to toddle over to Mrs. Nakashima's and she would feed me. She taught me to use chop sticks. Our neighbors on the other side were Mexican/American. When I wasn't being fed at Mrs. Nakashima's I could usually be found eating at Mrs. Garcia's. These two wonderful ladies were my surrogate grandmothers. To this day I frequently joke that as a child I grew up eating tacos and enchiladas with chop sticks - definitely not true. It is true, however, that to this day I am extremely happy eating Japanese and Mexican food.

Over the years I have been around a multitude of guys using steroids and you can take my word for it this guy isn't on the roids.

I would recommend, at this point in your hiring career, you use Rentmen for eye candy only and if you find someone who interests you look for a review on Daddy's site. In my, not so humble, opinion the reviews on rentmen are worthless. On Daddy's look for reviews written by clients who are about your age and possibly reflect your profile. The more positive reviews the guy has the more likely you are to have a good time even though nothing is full proof. Once you have done your research and found a guy who interests you contact him and tell him exactly what you are looking for and what you expect. You won't shock him telling him your desires, if he has been around for any period of time he will have heard it all. If your initial contact goes well set up a get together, relax and prepare to have a good time.

I learned to cook from my mother thus I am a stand back and throw cook. I look in my pantry, then I look in my refrigerator for what meat and vegetables I have on hand and then I stand back and start throwing things together. I don't generally follow recipes unless I’m preparing something I’ve never cooked before and even then I’m prone to tweak it here and there. Of good example of this were the empanadas I prepared for the recent Palm Springs Sunday Pool Party. I do enjoy attending cooking classes but only to get new ideas. Many years ago I attended a class taught by a prominent local chef. After a short introduction to the class by the chef/teacher a women raised her hand and asked him what would be good substitutes for the butter and salt in his recipes. He pauses only for a moment and then simply said NOTHING, he then offered her a refund – I could barely keep from laughing. I cook principally with olive oil, canola oil and butter. I deep fry only with canola oil or Crisco. I do NOT bake because to be a successful baker one has to measure carefully and I’m just not capable of doing that.

Hey ODIN51 I always tend to think about what is the worst thing that could happen when I do something. I always sent the Postal Money Order in a plain white legal envelope. Why did I do that rather than place it in a card because it is common knowledge that people often send cash in a card as a gift to children and grandchildren. Yea I know silly and over cautious but that is the story of my life.

Another easy way to avoid a paper trail is go to the Post Office and purchase a money order. You can leave it blank. If stolen someone could write in the names but for some reason it seems safer to me than sending cash. Additionally I always used to wrap a piece of blank paper around the money order so it couldn't be seen through the envelope.

I am currently readying Iran: A Modern History by Abbas Amanat. Considered by many to be the best book out on the subject; it came out in 2017. It is 900 pages long, incredibly through and not all that easy a read but very interesting. After 200 pages I've only reached the beginning of the 19th century. I recommend it if you are at all interested in the subject.
