  1. I like small nice things and recently purchased myself a monogrammed LV necktie and a Gucci card holder. Also another pair of Tom Ford sunglasses. Another salesman gossiped about me and said some really really unsavory things about me :( I was appalled but my salesman was great and Tom Ford is not in my home state. I plan to write a letter to corporate since it was so terrible.

  2. Out of curiosity, how does one service cars made by companies which no longer exist, such as DMC, AMC? Do spare parts have to be custom-made?

A friend of mine owns a DMC 12! I want to set up a race! Should be evenly matched!

There are quite a lot of Forums, pages and groups where fellow enthusiasts post sought after parts. Parts cars are all over and the good bits are sold off. Sometimes people wait years for their really specific parts that just cannot be remanufactured. Purists will only want original parts anyway.

  3. Welcome back to the game! I started out in Miami myself. It is unfortunate that there’s fewer sites out there right now.

However, the double-edged sword to having fewer websites: more clients have fewer places to browse, so atleast for me: my phone goes off with texts round the clock. However It’s become almost overwhelming to keep up with and weed thru the real from the flake.

Also, the former back-page and Craigslist usual flakes who likely just contact people for sex for sport, and don’t intend to actually meet, have been using Rentmen more too.

I am still a fan of adam4adam, however to cut down on expended conversation: I just recently posted my number and I have a message saying I don’t read/reply to messages on the site.

And Mocha is the VW Rabbit with the Check Engine Light on! I kid man! Couldn’t resist

  4. I’m not in London but I meet people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. If you feel your weight will be an issue, I’d recommend bringing it up in conversation leading up to setting your appointment. Say something like hello my name is x I’m a bottom and describe myself as a bigger guy. Do you think we will be a match?

  5. Well the time has come. Mid August I found the Gremlin for me! 1970 6 cylinder automatic. The car was restored and looks to be in show car condition. I’m flying out to see it and if all goes well, I’ll be shipping it from the east coast to my home in UT. Wish me luck!

@RealAvalon Yes I’m aware of the Levi’s edition. Those ones are hard to come by and really rare. I’m not big enough of an enthusiast and collector to find one/restore one/pay the premium.

  6. Thank-you so much!

Don’t get me wrong, North Carolina was for a long time, a considered state on my “list” when I was looking to leave Colorado. I wanted the whole beach, mountain, city, 4 NORMAL seasons. And the Smoky Mountains, Asheville, and Raleigh Triangle area are all worth visiting. I even went up there last summer and visited someone from the forum.

However, something about it after a few visits just didn’t “click” for me. Something was missing. I’ve spent more time in Raleigh than in Charlotte though, just to be fair. But I’ve been to both more than once.

Despite the growth and spreading Liberalism “sounding” progressive, I still get this vibe out there of racial oppression and an overall “system”. Of course this is present in so many southern states as it is, but North Carolina is no exception.

I went to a diner in downtown Charlotte, mostly Black patrons, pretty popular and well reviewed. But there were 2 cop cars parked in front of restaurant. When I went inside, they were posted up like ushers, ready to drag someone out if anything broke out. Fortunately it didn’t, but it felt like “master was watching”.

And as contradicting as it may sound, Charlotte and Raleigh can be ghetto...especially Charlotte. I just don’t like being in cities where racial tensions or stereotypes are high.

That’s why I had a hard time in Orlando. Texas can be the same way. Chicago can be the same way. There was no room to stand out and be unique. But places like Salt Lake City where @VictorPowers lives, I feel like I have the opportunity to present my own narrative of who I am when I come to a city.

Utah has very little Black men living here. You’ll stand out!
