Hello, I just rode my first CA AIDS Lifecycle ride last week and it was a life changing experience, if you are up to the physical challenge I cannot recommend it enough. If you are not up to the physical challenge, consider being one of 600 Roadies who handle all of the logistics...it's all one big happy family for 7 days.

I have been to the spa at Carpe Diem. It is a fabulous spa, but also totally legit meaning no hanky pinky (with the massage staff). The sauna steam whirlpool and outdoor areas are clothing optional however so hanky lanky May (possibly) be had elsewhere

I think asking the question is fair game, I would not bank my own safety on their answer. Some may not be truthful, some may not know (in other words, time between contracting something & being diagnosed/treated). I'm also a "planner". The worst response I've had is "can you contact me closer"? If I make contact 1+ week before I'll usually say "I know it's early" and close with "I'll txt you a few days before to confirm". Better a planner than a time waster
