  1. As I recall, it's a lot of people talking. And talking. And talking. And when they are not talking, they are mind-reading. Wikipedia says there was a radio adaptation, which makes sense with all the talking, but no movies or TV so far. I'm skeptical they can be made into entertaining movies, been kicking around Hollywood for a long time and no one seems to be able to come up with a good script. Currently Apple has the rights to it.
  2. Have you seen him this trip?
  3. Due to a grandparent who worked in publishing who insisted I learn as early as possible, I could read independently before kindergarten. I remember thinking it was weird to have an adult read stories to us in school because that was 'for babies'. As it happened, our second grade teacher read us The Hobbit, or There and Back Again over the year. I liked it and wanted to read more from the author and that's how I ended up reading The Lord of the Rings over the summer between 2nd and 3rd grade, so I would have been 8. I've reread it many times since then. As far as children's books I liked quite a bit, there are Sterling North's Rascal: A Memoir of a Better Era, Ian Fleming's (yes, that Ian Fleming) Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang: The Magical Car, and Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time. I reread Rascal and Wrinkle recently, actually. I also liked The Chronicles of Narnia but I didn't come across it until I was 11, I think because in my parts it was regarded with suspicion as Christian brainwashing for kids. But for time spent, I can tell you, the encyclopedia wins, hand down. We had a set and I read the entire thing. I remember they also published a supplemental volume each year with new and updated entries and I tore into that the moment it arrived. I was also fascinated by The Guinness Book of World Records and we got the new edition every year, which I would read cover to cover, even though most of it was the same as the last edition.
  4. Also set up any two-factor or two-step authentication options your service providers make available. This has totally changed the security game and resulted in the targeting of accounts that lack this additional security, since those account users are deemed to be likely technologically naive and more susceptible to scams.
  5. That's why I wrote I've come to regard these requests as looking to fulfill a very specific fantasy.
  6. Ahem.... Sorry to Bother You
  7. I'm not seeing anything here that is specific to escorting.
  8. So it doesn't matter what their actual practice is, just that they have the magic words in their profile? If so, at least that's more realistic....
  9. Well sure, I could spend cycles speculating, but it doesn't matter. I'd met him before and maybe he just doesn't want to see me again. You can see how this isn't terribly productive. I fully support the guys running their business as they see fit (although I equally feel free to comment on it). If the particular guy I mentioned had taken the initiative to reach out to me later, I would have been happy to see if we could schedule a session.
  10. The one and only guy I've met who didn't offer any kind of rate reduction on hours past the first was also a total dumpster fire of unprofessionalism, how's that for experiences? I've posted this elsewhere, since I prefer a two hour minimum, if you add up the rate for a couple of 2 hours sessions, it usually gets real close to the much longer overnight session, so if I am clicking with a guy (rare), I would be inclined to opt for the ON.
  11. I realize I don't actually have an answer for the OP as I've adopted a 'never ask twice' policy. If I reach out to someone and don't hear back, or as happened recently when I contacted a guy who had posted he was coming to town, when he declined to make an arrangement that far in advance and I was invited to try again later, I don't reach out again. Perhaps I've missed out on something fun, but the peace of mind I've gained in moving on without regrets is worthwhile.
  12. Not only that, but how would anyone ever be able to answer the question with assurance and make such a referral? How could such a thing ever be proved? I've come to regard these requests as looking to fulfill a very specific fantasy.
  13. Your post is exactly on topic for this thread, so it keeps all the details in one place, much better than a bunch of dupe threads about one person. Thread necrophilia from forum spammers playing keyword bingo to trick people into viewing their posts are the problem. That's definitely not you, you're fine.
  14. His old account is gone and this new account with the same pics was opened today: https://rent.men/Stefan_wolfe
  15. I think the confusion arises because the profile says July 23 and the subject of this thread says August 23?
  16. I think Cristal Connors said it best... (not directed at anyone personally) My perspective is the only thing that changes is exactly what what each of us is whoring and what we are getting for it. It's curious to see some people posting here coming off as rather sex negative if an arrangement involves sex. I'm pretty open minded as long as all parties are being candid.
  17. It looks like you may have to hire him to find out...

  19. I wasn't specifically looking for thug types, they would choose to present that way.
  20. I remember back in the days after I moved to DC and most the online cruising action was in AOL chatrooms, I would run into black guys who put a lot of work into adopting DL thug personas, even at first meeting. But something would give them away and I would have to ask. It was always kinda amusing when I would get an answer like 'I have a Masters and work on Cap Hill/Smithsonian/Exec branch', which was all fine with me. I have to say I'm am glad that's no longer a thing like it used to be...
  21. He really gets my motor running, but I haven't had another reason to organize a trip up the coast so far...

  23. Having a lot of experience with shorter guys, I would say this is not an unusual phenomenon. The reality is that shorter guys are not just smaller in one dimension (height), they are typically smaller in all three dimensions. So it's not unusual for people to look at a photo, which only captures two dimensions to start with, and scale the person up or down to average height. For people coming from the shorter side, this can make them look beefier than one would think of them in person. Add the fact that humans have binocular vision, so our vision can wrap around curves like those of a human body, and cameras are monocular (this is the phenomenon at the root of the phrase "the camera adds X pounds"), and you can end up with an expectation that is not met in real life, even though close examination would show there is nothing actually manipulated in the pictures. Having said that, I haven't met this particular guy, even though I would like to very much, but looking at the photos, I don't see anything that wouldn't be explained by a semi and a somewhat flattering camera angle.
