Things Older Men Should Avoid When Talking to Younger Men

What, you mean I should stop giving this at a first meeting? -
He turned up in DC this weekend, so I reached out to him, writing a note along with a request to see his semi-private pics and got a form letter say no private pics for me and no reply to my note. Guess I didn't make the cut. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I notice today that on the desktop web version, "Pornstar" has reverted to "escort".

I don't recall any references to a website or medium, just that such people existed. I'd be surprised if this was handled by anything but personal referrals.

Raise The Rate 2018 Proposal Letter
+ oldNbusted replied to BlakeBenz's topic in Questions About Hiring
It's all very eye-opening. For me, my RM reviews are visible in my profile and I did that deliberately, assuming that new providers I contacted would reach out to the providers I reviewed. No idea if that's ever happened. But that's about as far as I'm willing to go. -
I don't know either party in this conversation or what goes on between them but this description sounds like a client testing the on-the-clock/off-the-clock boundary and i don't like it one bit. As a client, I think I will have a better experience if a provider is not overly on-guard against me breaking out with some weirdness. I spend a considerable amount of energy to present as not creepy/entitled/a jerk and worry that I will inadvertently say something stupid or offensive, so I cannot imagine initiating such a vague conversation.

I think you are entirely correct, the issue is not the cancellation, it's the communication.

Raise The Rate 2018 Proposal Letter

I'm curious, since it has been mentioned here before, do they also require full disclosure of client identity to facilitate background checks? Not saying they are wrong to do so, I have no experience on the straight side. It was just a bit of a surprise to hear this as standard practice. -
Hire-at-low-rate-only 2018 proposal letter

One difference is in this thread, the OP didn't get bent out of shape when it was diplomatically pointed out that one size does not fit all. -
I have no ideas but it might be helpful to mention your operating system...

I don't think clients are interchangeable widgets, so I can see how this strategy will not be a good fit for every one. -

I don't think it's necessary to resort to straw men, no one suggested providers are not human beings. But that has little to do with the economics. Higher risk means higher reward, that is how free markets work. But this isn't a situation of inelastic demand. Where do escorts place in Maslow's hierarchy? I expect demand might just cool off for a bit. In addition, and I didn't really want to put it so indelicately, but most of the providers I've met didn't justify the rates they were already charging. But to be clear, I would not call upon them again even if they lowered their rate because they didn't offer the experience I want. Most of that bunch have dropped out and I expect more will follow. Only two of them actually were what I would consider to be 'high end'. Those guys could raise their rates (I don't have a thing about being 'grandfathered in', providers are free to change as they please) and I would gladly meet them again. I think this actually fits into what you said about about how the strong will rise and the weak will fall. I certainly can't refute the effectiveness of the strategies you mention, it's just that strategies have to be executed and not everyone is going to be able to do that, for a variety of reasons, and even if they do, it might just not work for them. To be clear I have no objections to the strategies themselves, I wouldn't be impacted by a 90 min minimum because my minimum is 2 hours. And as I implied above, if I'm getting the superlative experience I want, a rate increase is not an obstacle either. I was just making an observation about the business, nothing personal. -

Jesus Christ Super Star live Easter Sunday
+ oldNbusted replied to Cooper's topic in TV and Streaming services
I really enjoyed that the opening number, Heaven on Their Minds, had Judas with Jesus. Even though I think the lyrics just represent what Judas is thinking, them being together underscores the closeness. In the movie, Judas is already distant, which puts a different spin on the relationship. At least that makes the 'in concert' label accurate. I've enjoyed recent 'in concert' versions of Sweeney Todd and Company. I wondered if there was something wrong with his mic. Not only did it sound odd at times, it was frequently very low in the mix beyond what I think would be acceptable. BVD can definitely get it. I think he's put on some muscle recently. There is an interview wth him where he admits he only knew the songs he auditioned with and was apparently watching the first movie for the first time in pieces and was like 'what! Judas comes back after he dies and sings a big number?' I thought he was amazingly expressive. He also talked about how he felt it was his job to make people look at Judas differently. I didn't think anyone could do as well as Carl Anderson, but I was wrong. BVD was great, in a different way. Not political commentary but just noting, BVD was the Hamilton cast member that read the cast statement to Mike Pence from the stage after the show when Pence went to see it. He was the subject of a Trump tweet later, accusing him of not being able to remember his lines. You mean you don't like the version from the 2000 film? I remember how transfixed I was when I saw the first movie when it came out. I went right to the record store and bought the soundtrack. I think his normal on-stage experiences didn't really translate to this presentation. BVD mentioned they only had a couple of weeks to rehearse and since it was a one-off performance, he didn't have a lot of time to work out physical and musical riffs and this is coming from a highly experienced stage performer, so it's easy to imagine Legend just being in over his head and deciding to play it a little too safe. It didn't help that a bunch of people didn't hit their marks during that sequence. But here is what I think. While I'm sure a lot of believers watched this, so this is an important part of the story, for some of the rest of us, I think showing a black man being whipped live on national TV might just be a bit too real. I know it would have taken me right out of enjoying the show. Brandon "Taz" Niederauer, he was in School of Rock the Musical. I think he just turned 15. I got to see him up close in a Hendrix tribute concert last year. He's quite good, particularly for his age. He's about to go on a tour. http://www.brandonniederauer.com/about/ -
https://rent.men/AnthonyGrey I didn't realize he was famous, I think he's even done a scene with @Eric Hassan But curious about experiences for us not-famous.
