  1. At a certain point contacting someone who doesn't want to be contacted becomes stalking. Doesn't matter if their info is public. Sounds like you need to be an adult and move on.
  2. I'm not sure if he actually made it up here, or if he did it was very quick. After scheduling with him a day prior, he sent out a group text saying he didn't have a place to stay...which leads me to believe he wasn't here. Though, I don't know that for a fact.
  3. Is Nickknight the same person as Nick_William? I can't tell based on the previous thread.
  4. I was supposed to see him yesterday (I had scheduled with him a couple days prior) but he never gave me details of where to meet him or rate for the hour. I texted him about 1.5 hours prior to get the details but he didn't respond. About half an hour after the scheduled time I got a text that seemed more like a general blast to several clients saying he had had trouble finding a place to stay and he apologized for the inconvenience. At least he apologized, but seems a bit uncoordinated. Surprised that someone would come to NYC and not have a place lined up before hand (unless he did and it fell through). I'd still see him, but not sure what his set up is now and how long he is staying. I'm going to keep an eye on his ad. Interestingly, his Rentmasseur ad has expired, but he's on Masseurfinder, too.
  5. I went to a couple of the lunch parties and the evening blow party in the summer. They're pretty good. The lunch parties had one on Wednesday around Wall St that they ended because attendance wasn't all that high (though I enjoyed the one I went to since it was a different mix of guys who go to the midtown party). I want to attend some more once I get over surgery for a little basal cell I had removed.
  6. His ad has had 🚫 NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE 🚫for a while now. Not sure if he is seeing any clients.
  7. Since 2000, there have only been 7 increases greater than 3.2%...so it's not that out of the norm.
  8. There's been several threads on this guy.
  9. Well, I guess after trying soccer, business men, nursing, and construction...I guess massage was next on the list. Though the bulges in pic #1 suggest otherwise.
  10. Pretty much. They think the Fed will stop raising rates soon(ish) and may even lower them some in the next year or two...so they don't want to be stuck paying high yields for, say, 10 years. I've been noticing the treasury yields in my Fidelity account fluctuate from either the 6-months to the 1-year rates being the highest for auction over the past year but then the rates trending lower once the time frame goes further out.
  11. My latest 3-mo treasury buy executed this morning. 5.6% compounded annual yield.
  12. I used to use bankrate but found they don't list a lot of banks. DoC (Doctor of Credit) has a section that lists high yields around the US.
  13. Back in '19 I was in touch with Apollo about meeting up at my place in LIC, but I never went through with it. I felt he pressured me a little too much to meet, and, having never hired before at that time, I was nervous about going through with it. Not to mention, living in a doorman building, I felt self-conscious about having someone who looks like him show up at my place, LOL. After reading everything here, I wish I had done it. I'm sure it would have been awesome!
  14. The only thing that puts me off about seeing Fabio is the paper-ish sheet on the table in the pics. It's not a real sheet and doesn't grip the table like a fitted sheet would. Can anyone comment on that? When you roll over does it bunch up under you...awkward?
  15. I agree, but even without the tax benefits the treasuries look better. Current yields on Fidelity: 3-mo treasury - 5.41%, 3-mo CD - 5.2%
  16. $1 CDN is about $0.75 US...so his rate is about $187 US.
  17. I think you missed counting the jacket 😆
  18. That's partly why I've been buying 3 month treasuries...1/3 of my cash each month so I have maturities every month that I can tap if needed. But on the other hand, I have a huge bunch of cash just in online savings accounts getting anywhere from 5% to 5.5%..so no need to lock in anything.
  19. My last treasury buy (3 mo bills) came out to 5.49% APY when I did the math.
  20. KevinFerrer on RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM View my profile on RentMasseur.com
  21. His private pics are enticing. Can someone PM me his rates?
  22. Except for '21 and '22, if the next cola is 3.1%, it'll be the highest since 2011. So, historically not all that bad. With compounding and the 5.9% and 8.7% of the last 2 years, the dollar amount rise will be higher than it otherwise would have been if inflation had stayed low.
  23. Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)...always a rip off.
  24. Agreed, I was thinking about hiring him when I'm there in Sept, but that price is pretty steep compared to other guys.
