If “no” rocks your world that much, maybe it’s not me who needs centering exercises.
Then there are the ones who “test limits.”  They come in like detectives on a high-profile case, trying to “evaluate” me, as if I’m a restaurant they’re reviewing on Yelp. Newsflash: it’s not that deep. You’re not Anthony Bourdain, and this is not Undercover Boss: Massage Edition.  The real clients, the educated, balanced ones…simply ask for what they want, get a quick selfie if needed, book, and go on with their lives. Imagine that. Adults doing adult things.
And yes, to the dynamic duo who kicked off this little soap opera. you know who you are. One of you couldn’t hide his insecurities if they came with a cloak, and the other got emotional because life didn’t turn into a scene from a movie. You’re lucky I didn’t end the session early.
