From what I've observed in my cities, this is so true. Many (especially new guys) are putting 300 just because. They see others and copy cat. Meanwhile, guys who have been around for a little you see regularly adjusting their rate from 300 down to 250-220. I doubt many that I see locally are getting 300 as often as the guys I see with a tad lower rate and much more feedback.
