This may be 2023 but a lot of guys still have a hard time coming to terms with identifying as gay. Not everyone, especially in some more rural or less sophistcated arenas are so warmly accepting of gays. Guy I see is late 20's, drop dead good looking and if you met him on the street would tell you he's straight. After almost a year and lots of discussion (before durning and after amaxing sex) he will talk about how hard it is to admit he's gay. So I think there is some of that going on. The world has changed, but not that much.

I met with him in Dallas in April. He claims to be straight, but I'm not sure you would ever know unless he told you. He is a sweetheart and has had some terrible luck. Comes across as a bit desperate financially and very grateful to be hired; not a bit cocky. If I lived in Dallas....I would probably see him again.
