  1. Yeah, big ears, and his big ears specifically, are super hot. I hated the GaySF Millenial/Zillenial HBO Show, but I love everything else he's done.
  2. Wedge pillows make Missionary much easier, especially if the bottom is heavy. https://www.amazon.com/Elevation-Cooling-Support-Heartburn-Pregnancy/dp/B08R64SXFM/ref=sr_1_11?crid=LOJZVO8KN17M&keywords=wedge+pillows&qid=1651764917&s=hpc&sprefix=Wedge%2Chpc%2C131&sr=1-11
  3. A couple years ago a friend reminisced to me about a great escort he knew in the valley who retired years ago. A couple days later I surprised my friend with that, long-retired, escort's email address, which I fished out from the hooboy site on internet archive. My friend reached out to him, and they had a very nice lunch. If you still have a former escort's contact info, reach out*, remind him who you are, ask how he's been, and invite him to coffee or lunch, no harm there. *versus emails, be especially discreet in texts.
  4. Ok, guys do NOT mention any of the guys on Zeel or Soothe in the context of anything remotely suggesting HE/Erotic/Sensual. I know you haven't, I'm not saying you have. Going forward, don't. They can lose a lot of money if they lose their ability to work on those apps. So, do as you're doing, keep it on PMs. :-)
  5. Do you guys pay into Long Term Care insurance? What's the experience been like if you do? And if you don't, but you considered it, why did you decide not to? And if you pay into it, and you've used it, what was that experience like? Thanks!

Way too deep of a squat. You shouldn't even go down to parallel, anything past just above parallel is putting your lower back at too much risk. And I think his heels are raised! I hope that 110 year old man is not suffering from lower back pain.
  7. If they had asked, and you wanted to be coy, you could have pulled a Harold Ramis:
  8. The wood floor in my apartment is original to the 1950 building. It's light colored and I couldn't be happier with it. Dark wood floors can be beautiful, but you have to either counterbalance it well, or go all out on dark features and hope for the best, sometimes dark rooms are amazing. The Oak Room (RIP) at the Plaza hotel comes to mind.
  9. Santorini is much more beautiful. Mykonos is pretty, but it's basically drinking and hot guys. Also, beach. I will be the first to admit that the beaches in Santorini are underwhelming. I'm not a beach person, I'm a water person. To me the beach is what's b/w the parking lot and the water, additionally, I understand that "the beach" is very important to some ppl's "island vacation". If you stay in Santorini, spend the extra, unfortunately much extra, money to stay somewhere over the caldera. I think the name of the area is Io (??), something like that. Also, as I think I recommended before, if you can find the time to spend a couple nights on Folegendros, you'll be richly rewarded with a great experience. I think the ferry ride from Santorini is less than 2 hours. One of many things I like there is that the beaches are accessible by boat, which is always fun, taking a boat to get to a private beach :-) Have fun!
  10. You can do TM on a table, but Typically Thai massage is on a futon-like mat on the floor and, lacking that, Private practitioners, erotic and non-erotic, use a bed.
  11. I don't have an account, but maybe Romeo (formerly planetromeo)? https://www.romeo.com/auth/login
  12. An old boss of mine flipped houses on the side. He always chose his crew at home depot and he did well financially, but it seemed fairly time consuming.
  13. I find artificial limbs totally hot, un-replaced as well. Years ago I remember the Ramada guest room door opening and.... there was no one there. I had to look down to the floor to see the guy I was meeting. Propped against the wall across the room, I could see the two artificial legs he wasn't wearing. And he hadn't told me beforehand. Holy shit!
  14. When I visited Vietnam I just flew from site to site. Amanoi*, Saigon, Danang/Hoi An, Hanoi. From Hanoi, you have to take a @4-hour bus to get to Halong Bay. Great country, have fun. *https://www.aman.com/resorts/amanoi

When I see the photos of Bob Mizer guys out in the Desert, I like to fantasize about what the ride out and back was like. Was it like this great Duff Paxton scene in Track Meet? I think so :-) https://www.retromales.com/videos/8251/495/track-meet-scene-3.html?nats=lukenats.2.94.209.0.0.0.0.0
  16. Thank you everyone!
  17. Thank you so much for posting this Robear. This book passed me by, I bought it and can't wait to read it. Again, thank you. Very much appreciate it.
  18. Rent Stabilized, not controlled. Rent Control is dead pretty much everywhere. Rent Stabilization is a not-sucky compromise, but it is not as good as Rent Control.
  19. I think it's likely rare. But there are some escorts, who aren't particularly attractive, but do well based on reputation. Or at least there used to be. Anyway, I was just curious.
  20. My memory is that AL was charging $350/hour (holy shit, 20 years ago!) in the last days of his career, before he transitioned to making those wretched Russian Porn movies. Where is he now? I enjoyed his books, not because they are helpful (escorting is NOT difficult), but because they were so honest. He often came across as opportunistic. And, you know what, the best escorts are, of course, very compassionate, like on the level of the best nurses (I'm not suggesting escorting is nearly as difficult or as necessary as nursing), but also opportunistic. By that I mean we are constantly putting the client first, compassion, while simultaneously and quietly guarding our own interests and looking for "opportunities" that benefit both us and the client. Honestly, I thought John Preston's "Hustling, A gentleman's guide to the fine art of prostitution" was a fairly good handbook. https://www.amazon.com/Hustling-Gentlemans-Guide-Homosexual-Prostitution/dp/1563331373 What Kevin wrote above is good, but I would add that you really don't need to worry much about flakes. I've been an escort for 23 years and I can still count on one hand and one or two fingers on the other the number of no shows. And, yes, people sometimes waste time with endless emails, in the past, and texts, in the present. It's rare, it's not especially bothersome. It's only especially bothersome if you have a Zillenial's attitude toward text and feel you need to respond immediately. Gen-X, we answer messages at the end of the day. Just escort, it's not hard, it's fun.
  21. It's not a false dilemma. When you consider reaching out to a guy, which pulls you in more, initially, the description of their personality combined with their reputation, or their looks? Neither answer makes you good or bad as a person or a client, but it's a willful obfuscation to simply say it's a false dilemma, because you know that everyone here, who's been on this board for some time, knows that ugly men can be duds, beautiful men can be duds, men in between can be duds, and yes, good for you all, beautiful men can be beautiful at what they do just as ugly men and in between men can be beautiful at what they do. And every kind of man can be just so so too. Yes, we all know that. SO, is it beauty that makes you click, or description? Looking through your reviews it seems like you gravitate toward beauty first, and then winnow those men down further by reputation, description, and likability. It seems you've always liked jocks, I was a few years past being a jock when we met :-) Also, when are you and/or you and your partner going to come down from the hill and meet me at Bottega Louie for Coffee and/or lunch? I guess what I'm getting at is, yes, there are Kristians, who are beautiful and fantastic, and there are funny looking guys like Aaron, who are fantastic, but yes, funny looking (I though he was funny looking anyway, like an ageless twink). But are you paying for the beauty first, in which case Kristian has every "right" to charge a lot (I don't think he does) or first for the experience and reputation, in which case AL has every "right" to charge a lot?
  22. Duff Paxton, Jack Wrangler, Al Parker. I'm sure I'll think of many others. Duff Paxton is a particular favorite of mine. The documentary about Jack Wrangler, as well as his interview with Terri Gross, are very interesting. I'm not ESPECIALLY attracted to JW, though he is absolutely sexy, but more than almost anyone else, he was a performer. He actually reminds me a lot of Hugh Jackman, they have the same kind of enthusiasm. Well, if legend means the performer made a difference, which makes sense, then I'll have to add Kip Knoll, because his look really allowed for all that we would see in the '80s, the William Higgins boy. And, now that I've started down this road, there's no way one can mention gay porn idols without referencing Richard Locke, he truly was iconic. And, I'm sure others have mentioned Michael Lucas.
  23. I fucked Tom in a hot tub at a Malibu BeachHouse QED party. New York sucks these days, you can't beat California for experiences like that.
  24. You two have just expressed the twin poles of hiring: Do you prioritize experiential joy or physical-beauty joy? And don't say fucking both. I'm so fucking sick of people, when asked "which do you prefer" stupidly saying both. Yeah, no shit Sherlock. But, when you are asked what you prefer, isn't it more helpful to actually think for a moment, and answer with a single answer, rather than just saying both. Do you prefer caramel or chocolate? "Both." Thoughtless answer. Which do you TRULY prefer, gun to your goddam head? Again, fuck "both". Anyway, my rant about lazy dialogue is over.
  25. Aces, you're experiencing aging, it's the great tragedy. I'm not being glib. People think death is the great tragedy, it's actually aging.
