  1. Loved GGandSteel when it first came out. If you like it, read Collapse immediately afterward, also very good, just to stay in the zone.
  2. Pretty week review in the paper yesterday morning ‘Sebastian’ Review: Sex Speaks Louder Than Words - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM For inspiration, a writer moonlights as an escort in this drama from Mikko Makela. Probably, there are too many movies on this subject. At least, too many "Mid" movies. Of them all, I think I liked Boy Culture, NOT a serious movie, best. The best feature film on the Subject is probably Tecine's "I Don't Kiss", despite the dumb ending. There was also a short film, 20 years ago, I can't find now about a hustler at someone's Fire Island house. When the hustler realizes that the guy isn't going to pay him his paltry fee, like $50, the hustler just breaks down in this kind of pathetic way which I really liked. Oh, and also in Circuit, I loved when the barely 30 year old escort was told by his client at the San Vicente Inn a hotel I was VERY familiar with by then :-) that he was too old. Also, despite the claustrophobic beginning, Strapped was excellent. Still, probably too many movies. But, I'm sure I'll watch this one.
  3. TERRIBLE show, and I watched every episode so I really enjoyed seeing the photos, thank you for posting them.
  4. Just finished this. Very good. He's a gay author, but this, like his more famous (and better) book Brooklyn, which became a lovely movie, is not gay. It's a very Irish book. Enjoy: Amazon.com WWW.AMAZON.COM
  5. I've talked about it here, I got in trouble for linking to a music video, and so I'm not going anywhere near that word or anything to do with it. I understand, that's why I like these threads too. You're welcome, I hope you like it.
  6. That's fucking fantastic.
  7. Yeah, I'm not getting another knock on my profile for saying that dirty word again, or anything to do with it. Anyway, you could of course read the synopsis on the Amazon page I linked to. But if I must, the narrator lives in a small town, in the '50s, and in an abusive catholic family, and his only outlet are these REMARKABLE letters he, and his friend, write to their hero, Superman. The entire book is, I think the word is epostilary? But there's a story in the letters. A sad, funny, story. Now I'm exhausted from typing, you're welcome Lucky.
  8. On this forum several years ago, I mentioned this Podcast. Loved it. If you take older gay porn seriously, and you should, this is the podcast for you. The more recent, generally non-porn, films are under a new show, called Cruising the Movies. The Better ones are the earlier episodes when the show was called Ask Any Buddy. Click, Scroll all the way down, Listen to the earliest episodes and Enjoy! ‎Cruising the Movies on Apple Podcasts PODCASTS.APPLE.COM ‎TV & Film · 2024
  9. Book of Gay K** in the '50's, published in the late '80s, from Author who sadly died of Aids after writing his second book. The Kryptonite K** Was on my list for a long time, and only recently realized they'd made it available digitally. Just finished it. Loved it! Enjoy: Amazon.com WWW.AMAZON.COM And after you're done, here is an interview with family and friends: Noblemania: “The Kryptonite **d” (1979 novel involving Superman) - interview with author’s family WWW.NOBLEMANIA.COM Award-winning *******n's book author who speaks in schools and keynotes conferences worldwide.
  10. The one on the right. SO MUCH More interesting of a person than ZE.
  11. Were the escort Dick Cavett (can you imagine?), he would respond, "Why don't you keep your dollar and then 'why don't you fold it five ways and put it where the moon don't shine'"
  12. So funny. I Had no memory of this escort, but something about the name made me want to look him up, it sounds like a very young adult book, Little Timmy Thomas. ANYWAY, I ABSOLUTELY remember seeing this guy on the sites. Mixed reviews, but everyone seems to agree he was cute (if not always interactive) Reviews: Male Escort Timmy - Denver WEB.ARCHIVE.ORG Ad: https://web.archive.org/web/20040206104636/http://boysnextdoor.org/Boys/Timmy Thomas/timmythomas.htm
  13. I should like him. I love Marquez. But I forced myself through whatever Murakami book has all the holes that multiple characters spend days in. Windup Bird Chronicle? Really hated it, but finished it because he's so revered AND I really wanted to like it. I will not read anything else by him. Although Utopia Avenue was a mess, and disappointing, I do like David Mitchell quite a bit, and he's obviously influenced heavily by Murakami. So, I'm probably wrong, glad you like him a lot. A lot of good smart people do.
  14. It's not a terrible movie. People are too dramatic in saying it tanked because of homophobia. Additionally, people are too dramatic hating on it. I didn't know who Billy Eichner was before seeing it. So, I didn't have the PRE-Hate many people, understandably, had/have for him. It's not good, but I'd watch it again before watching any fucking Marvel Movie (I don't know why I made that the only choices).
  15. Thank you for bringing my attention back to this movie. He's such a solid filmmaker, I look forward to watching it on MAX
  16. I used to listen, but haven't the last few years, just because of time. But I like him a lot. I saw him at a restaurant and told him he's fantastic. He very dramatically and Gayly said, "Oh stop!" with a big smile. Great guy as far as I can tell.
  17. Why do you say that? Where do you think I should go?
  18. I heard back from him. He has a job that he likes and is living in a place he likes, so yay!!
  19. Several GIANT sex parties when I first moved to LA. Over 100 naked guys at a home in the Hollywood Hills, and another one with over 60 people in a Malibu Beach House (not Geffen's). They were QED parties, that was the name of the group, QED (Quality Erect Dicks) and you had to be interviewed to join the group. Oh, the 90s; fun times.
  20. I definitely should not have watched Ordinary People, I was too young to process it. Give her the Goddam Camera! I hear that in Don't Look Now, great movie, when Julie Christie (so beautiful and talented) and Sutherland were naked and getting ready in their bathroom in the evening, originally you see Sutherland's cock, but it was so big that for the rest of the movie the audience in Test Screenings wouldn't see the rest of the movie the same way, they'd giggle. And so, in the final edit, no cock shot. That's what I remember hearing anyway. Don't Look Now, SO GOOD.
  21. The hungrier they are, the sexier. :-)
  22. I'm with you. This is an escort forum, so it makes sense that users here would consider his friend judgemental. Truth is, most people think escorting is bad, the friend's reaction shouldn't surprise anyone. Maybe the friend might gain a new perspective. Also, I just fucking hate the word judgemental (so much so that I still can't spell it, I guess.) Judgmental is what people throw around now because they disagree with someone. My shitheal neighbors with the idiot untrained dogs thinks I'm judgmental for ratting them out to the landlord everytime they start barking at 3am.
  23. I find the native Goals utility not very useful. I do think the native Fitness App extremely useful for almost every sport I do. If you are a Data Guy, I can not recommend highly enough the app Auto Sleep. A fantastic, absolutely fantastic, sleep tracker that will at first, like all sleep trackers, make you very upset and anxious. Over time, that goes away as your innner Data Geek becomes pleasantly fixated. Have fun, happy numbers! ‎AutoSleep Track Sleep on Watch APPS.APPLE.COM ‎Automatically track your sleep from your Apple Watch*. No buttons to press. Even the Watch app is optional! Just sleep! The Sad Truth About Sleep-Tracking Devices and Apps - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM Our personal tech columnist tracked his sleep for two weeks with an Apple Watch and some software. Here’s why he concluded it was a pointless exercise.
  24. Now that the Hostel isn't an option, thanks covid, I often stay at the Motel 6 in Mammoth during last minute BIG STORM snowboarding trips. It's not bad, especially if you're not traveling with others because there's no atmosphere and you don't need any, you're alone!
  25. I LOVE the Canadian Rockies, winter and summer.
